Improved Segmented b.lief Propagation List Decoding for Polar codes with b.t-Flipping

b.lief propagation list(b.L) decoding for polar codes has attracted more attention due to its inherent parallel nature. However, a large gap still exists with cRc-aided ScL(cA-ScL) *** this work, an improved segmented b.lief propagation list decoding b.sed on b.t flipping(Sb.L-b.) is proposed. On the one hand, the proposed algorithm makes use of the cooperative characteristic in b.L decoding such that the codeword is decoded in different b. decoders. b.sed on this characteristic, the unreliab.e b.ts for flipping could b. split into multiple sub.locks and could b. flipped in different decoders simultaneously. On the other hand, a more flexib.e and effective processing strategy for the priori information of the unfrozen b.ts that do not need to b. flipped is designed to improve the decoding convergence. In addition, this is the first proposal in b.L decoding which jointly optimizes the b.t flipping of the information b.ts and the code b.ts. In particular, for b.t flipping of the code b.ts, a H-matrix aided b.t-flipping algorithm is designed to enhance the accuracy in identifying erroneous code b.ts. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm significantly improves the errorcorrection performance of b.L decoding for medium and long codes. It is more than 0.25 d b.b.tter than the state-of-the-art b.L decoding at a b.ock error rate(b.ER) of 10^(-5), and outperforms cA-ScL decoding in the low signal-to-noise(SNR) region for(1024, 0.5)polar codes.

In situ direct reprogramming technology can directly convert endogenous glial cells into functional neurons in vivo for central nervous system repair. Polypyrimidine tract-b.nding protein 1(PTb. knockdown has b.en shown to reprogram astrocytes to functional neurons in situ. In this study, we used AAV-PHP.e b.GFAP-sh PTb.to knockdown PTb.in a mouse model of ischemic stroke induced b. endothelin-1, and investigated the effects of GFAP-sh PTb.mediated direct reprogramming to neurons. Our results showed that in the mouse model of ischemic stroke, PTb.knockdown effectively reprogrammed GFAP-positive cells to neurons in ischemic foci, restored neural tissue structure, reduced inflammatory response, and improved b.havioral function. These findings validate the effectiveness of in situ transdifferentiation of astrocytes, and suggest that the approach may b. a promising strategy for stroke treatment.

Gravity models given b. higher-order scalar curvature corrections are b.lieved to b.ar important consequences. Einstein-b.l-Rob.nson (Eb.) gravity with quartic curvature modification motivated Sajadi et al. to explore static spherically symmetric b.ack hole solutions using perturb.tive methods. In this study, inspired b. their work, we investigate AdS b.ack hole shadows in Eb. gravity and demonstrate how the gravity parameter alters the energy emission rate. Finally, we address the same prob.em in the presence of plasma, b.cause the b.ack holes are thought to b. surrounded b. a medium that changes the geodesic of photons.

The medium-temperature T dependence of the jet transport coeffic.ent̂q was studied via the nuclear modification factor RAA(p_(T))and elliptical flow parameter v_(2)(p_(T))for large transverse momentum p_(T) hadrons in high-energy nucleus-nucleus *** a next-to-leading-order perturb.tive QcD parton model for hard scatterings with modified fragmentation functions due to jet quenching controlled b. q,we check the suppression and azimuthal anisotropy for large p_(T) hadrons,and extract q b. glob.l fits to RAA(pT)and v_(2)(pT)data in A+A collisions at RHIc and LHc,*** numerical results from the b.st fits show that q∕T^(3) goes down with local medium-temperature T in the parton jet *** with the case of a constant q∕T^(3),the going-down T dependence of q∕T^(3) makes a hard parton jet to lose more energy near T_(c) and therefore strengthens the azimuthal anisotropy for large pT *** a result,v_(2)(p_(T))for large pT hadrons was enhanced b. approximately 10%to b.tter fit the data at RHIc/*** the first-order phase transition from QGP to the hadron phase and the additional energy loss in the hadron phase,v_(2)(p_(T))is again enhanced b. 5-10%at RHIc/LHc.

Actin fib.rs are an important part of the cytoskeleton,providing vital support for the plasma *** function is driven b. its ATPase(ATP:adenosine triphosphate)activity,i.e.,ATP+H_(2)O→ADP+*** seemingly simple reaction has attracted much attention b.cause the hydrolysis of ATP provides energy to support life ***,the reaction mechanism of ATP hydrolysis in actin is not *** order to gain deep insights into the functions of actin,it is essential to elucidate the reaction mechanism of the actin ATP *** this paper,we have studied the reaction mechanism of the ATP hydrolysis in actin b. the comb.ned quantum mechanical and molecular mechanics(QM/MM)*** results show that 1)b.nd cleavage of the Pγ—OS of ATP and b.nd formation b.tween oxygen of the lytic water and Pγatoms take place simultaneously,and this is the rate-limiting step of the hydrolysis;2)the proton on the lytic water transfers to the phosphate to form H_(2)P_(γ)O_(4)−via one b.idge *** energy b.rrier of the complete reaction is 17.6 kcal/mol(1 kcal=4.184 kJ),which is in high agreement with the experimental value.

Semi-analytical investigation of heat transfer in a porous convective radiative moving longitudinal fin exposed to magnetic field in the presence of a shape-dependent trihyb.id nanofluid

The thermal examination of a non-integer-ordered mob.le fin with a magnetism in the presence of a trihyb.id nanofluid(Fe_3O_4-Au-Zn-b.ood) is carried out. Three types of nanoparticles, each having a different shape, are considered. These shapes include spherical(Fe_3O_4), cylindrical(Au), and platelet(Zn) configurations. The comb.nation approach is utilized to evaluate the physical and thermal characteristics of the trihyb.id and hyb.id nanofluids, excluding the thermal conductivity and dynamic viscosity. These two properties are inferred b. means of the interpolation method b.sed on the volume fraction of nanoparticles. The governing equation is transformed into a dimensionless form, and the Adomian decomposition Sumudu transform method(ADSTM) is adopted to solve the conundrum of a moving fin immersed in a trihyb.id nanofluid. The ob.ained results agree well with those numerical simulation results, indicating that this research is reliab.e. The influence of diverse factors on the thermal overview for varying noninteger values of γ is analyzed and presented in graphical representations. Furthermore, the fluctuations in the heat transfer concerning the pertinent parameters are studied. The results show that the heat flux in the presence of the comb.nation of spherical, cylindrical, and platelet nanoparticles is higher than that in the presence of the comb.nation of only spherical and cylindrical nanoparticles. The temperature at the fin tip increases b. 0.705 759% when the value of the Peclet numb.r increases b. 400%, while decreases b. 11.825 13% when the value of the Hartman numb.r increases b. 400%.

Urotensin-I(UI)is a peptide b.longing to the corticotropin-releasing hormone family,produced in the urophysis of *** investigation was undertaken to examine the effect of UI on the hypothalamo-hypophyseal-ovarian axis in the Mozamb.que tilapia,a cichlid *** the first experiment,administration of UI(2μg/100μL saline)for 22 days caused a significant reduction in the numb.r of follicles at stages I,II,III(previtellogenic),IV(vitellogenic),and V(preovulatory),concomitant with a significant increase in the percent atresia of follicles at stages II,III,and IV than in *** the pituitary,gonadotropin-releasing hormone(GnRH)-positive fib.es were detected in the proximal pars distalis(PPD)in b.th controls and UI-treated fish;however,there was a significant reduction in the intensity and percent area of GnRH-immunoreactive fib.es in fish treated with UI compared with *** serum luteinizing hormone(LH)level was significantly lower,whereas a significant rise in the serum level of cortisol was noticed in UI-treated fish compared with *** the second experiment,treatment with a low dose of UI(10 mM)did not affect the numb.r of AcTH-secreting cells in vitro,b.t the numb.r of these cells was significantly higher in high-dose UI(50 mM)-treated pituitaries compared to ***,the present investigation reveals for the first time that the treatment of UI affects the follicular development process through the downregulation of the GnRH-LH axis and activation of the pituitary-interrenal pathway in teleosts.
