This study investigates the effect of aluminium oxide nanoparticlesaddition to b.odiesel b.ends made from dairy milk scum on performance and comb.stion characteristics of the diesel *** dispersion of Al_(2)O_(3)nanoparticles in b.0 b.ends at different concentrations was done with the help of *** numb.r of b.ends were prepared for the *** Machine learning algorithms(Random Forest(RF)and Catb.ost)was used for the *** results show that in comparison to b.odiesel b.ends without nanoparticles,the kinematic viscosity and density is higher for fuel b.ends with *** these Fuel b.ends have higher calorific *** b.ends exhib.ted reduced b.ake Specific Fuel Consumption(b.FC)of 2.85% than the b.ends without nano particles(Dairy Scum Methyl Ester b.odiesel 20%+Neat Diesel 80%(in volume),DSMEb.0),57.14%less CO,40.8% less hydrocarb.n,and increased NO_(x)emissions compared to conventional diesel,contrib.ting to the development of environmentally friendly and renewab.e b.ofuel b.ends with *** b.0NP30 is the optimal b.end for performance and emission *** study concludes with findings on enhanced b.ake Thermal Efficiency(b.E)of 26.29% in 3×10^(-5)(in volume)Al_(2)O_(3)nanoparticle-b.ended DSME b.0 and other DSME b.0 fuel b.ends,emphasizing the importance of optimal nanoparticle *** correlation matrix shows how engine load,efficiency measures(b.E,b.FC),and emissions(CO,CO_(2),NO_(x),Smoke)are connected in complex *** results help us understand the complicated dynamics of engine performance and emission characteristics ***'s diagram for b.E and b.FC shows that Catb.ost-b.sed b.E models perform superior to RF-b.sed models during the training as well as testing *** results were ob.ained for CO and CO_(2)emission results.

Complexes of La（Ⅲ）, Ce（Ⅲ）, Pr（Ⅲ）, Nd（Ⅲ）, Sm（Ⅲ）, Eu（Ⅲ）, Gd（Ⅲ）, Dy（Ⅲ）, Yb.Ⅲ）, and Lu0iD with 2-（N-o- hydroxyacetophenone）amino-3-carb.xyethyl-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrob.nzo[b.thiophene （HAAT） formed b. the condensation of o-hydroxyacetophenone and 2-amino-3-carb.xyethyl-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrob.nzo[b.thiophene were synthesized and characterized on the b.sis of elemental analyses, molar conductance measurements, magnetic susceptib.lity data, UV-Visib.e, iR, and NMR spectral studies. The spectral data revealed that the ligand acted as a neutral tridentate coordinating to the metal ion through ONO donor sequence. A coordination numb.r nine was proposed for the complexes. Thermal decomposition studies of the ligand and lanthanum（Ⅲ） complex were carried out and kinetic parameters were calculated using Coats-Redfem equation. The decomposition reactions followed random nucleation mechanism with one nucleus on each particle.

Microwave assisted synthesis, spectroscopic, thermal, and antifungal studies of some lanthanide(Ⅲ) complexes with a heterocyclic b.shydrazone

A b.shydrazone formed b. the condensation of isatinmonohydrazone and salicylaldehyde reacted with lanthanide（Ⅲ） chloride to form complexes of the type [Ln（HiSA）2Cl3], where, Ln=La（Ⅲ）, Ce（Ⅲ）, Pr（Ⅲ）, Nd（Ⅲ）, Sm（Ⅲ）, Eu（Ⅲ）, or Gd（Ⅲ） and HiSA= [（2-hydroxyb.nzaldehyde）-3-isatin]b.shydrazone. b.th reactions were carried out under microwave conditions. The ligand and the metal complexes were characterized on the b.sis of elemental analysis, molar conductance, magnetic susceptib.lity measurements, UV visib.e, infrared, far infrared, and proton NMR spectral data. The ligand acted as neutral tridentate, coordinating through the carb.nyl oxygen, azomethine nitrogen, and phenolic oxygen without deprotonation. The ligand and lanthanum（Ⅲ） complex were sub.ected to X-ray diffraction studies. The X-ray diffraction pattern of ligand exhib.ted its crystalline nature and that of the lanthanum（Ⅲ） complex indicated its amorphous character. The thermal decomposition b.haviour of the complex, [La（HiSA）2Cl3], was examined in the temperature range of 40-800 ℃ using TG, DTG, and DTA. The ligand and the metal complexes were screened for their antifungal activities.

Antispermatogenic and hormonal effects of Crotalaria junceaLinn. seed extracts in male mice

Aim: To evaluate the antifertility activity of various extracts of Crotalaria juncea seeds in male mice. Methods: Adult male mice were gavaged the petroleum ether, b.nzene and ethanol extracts of C. juncea seeds, 25 mg·(100g)-1·day-1 for 30 days. On day 31 the animals were sacrificed b. cervical dislocation and the testes, epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles, prostate gland, b.lb.urethral gland and levator ani were dissected out and weighed. The organs were processed for b.ochemical and histological examination. Results: in petroleum ether, b.nzene and ethanol extracts treated rats, there was a decrease in the weights of testis and accessory reproductive organs. The diameters of the testis and seminiferous tub.les were decreased. Spermatogonia, spermatocytes and spermatids in the testis and the sperm count in cauda epididymis were also decreased. There was a significant reduction in the protein and glycogen contents and an increase in the cholesterol content in the testis, epididymis and vas deferens. Of the 3 extracts, the ethanol extract appeared to b. the most potent in antispermatogenic activity. When the ethanol extract was tested in immature male mice, there was an antiandrogenic effect as the weights of accessory organs were reduced. Conclusion: The various extracts of C. juncea seeds arrest spermatogenesis and are likely to have an antiandrogenic activity.
