A carb.n paste electrode that was chemically modified with multiwall carb.n nanotub.s and p-aminophenol was used as a selective electrochemical sensor for the simultaneous detection of hydroxylamine (HX) and phenol. Cyclic voltammetry, doub.e potential-step chronoamperometry, square wave voltammetry (SWV), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were used to investigate the use of p-aminophenol in the carb.n nanotub.s paste matrixes as a mediator for the electrocatalytic oxidation of HX and phenol in aqueous solution. The coefficient of electron transfer and catalytic reaction rate constant were determined using the electrochemical methods. Under optimized conditions, the electrocatalytic oxidation current peaks for HX and phenol increased linearly with concentration in the range of 0.5-180.0 and 10.0-650.0 μmol/L for HX and phenol, respectively. The detection limits for HX and phenol were 0.15 and 7.1 μmol/L, respectively. The anodic potential peaks of HX and phenol were separated b. 0.65 V in SWV. b.cause of good selectivity and sensitivity, the present method provides a simple method for the selective detection of HX and phenol in practical samples such as water samples.

The longitudinal structure function with shadowing correction according to the nonlinear effects of the gluon density b.havior at low x is considered. The solution of the GLR-MQ evolution equation for the gluon density shows that the FL^g（x, Q2） b.havior can b. tamed b. the singularity at low x values. Comparing our results with H1 data at R=4 GeV-1 shows that at very low x this b.havior is completely tamed b. taking shadowing correction into account.

The properties of muonic helium atom （^4He＋2μ-e-） in ground state are considered. In this work, the energy and average distance b.tween particles have b.en ob.ained using a wave function, which satisfies b.undary conditions. It is shown that the ob.ained energy are very close to the values calculated b. others. b.t the small differences of the expectation values of r^2n are due to the incorporated b.undary conditions in proposed wave function and are expected.

Hypercyclicity of the operator algeb.a with strong operator topology was studied＇ b. Chan and here we ob.ain an analogous result in the case of ＊-strong operator topology.

Simultaneous effects of an on-center hydrogenic impurity and b.nd edge non-parab.licity on intersub.and optical ab.orption coefficients and refractive index changes of a typical GaAs/AlxGa1-xAs spherical quantum dot are theoretically investigated, using the Luttinger-Kohn effective mass equation. So, electronic structure and optical properties of the system are studied b. means of the matrix diagonalization technique and compact density matrix approach, respectively. Finally, effects of an impurity, b.nd edge non-parab.licity, incident light intensity and the dot size on the linear, the third-order nonlinear and the total optical ab.orption coemcients and refractive index changes are investigated. Our results indicate that, the magnitudes of these optical quantities increase and their peaks shift to higher energies as the influences of the impurity and the b.nd edge non-parab.licity are considered. Moreover, incident light intensity and the dot size have considerab.e effects on the optical ab.orption coefficients and refractive index changes.

Simultaneous effects of conduction b.nd non-parab.licity and hydrostatic pressure on the b.nding energies of 1S, 2S, and 2P states along with diamagnetic susceptib.lity of an on-center hydrogenic impurity confined in typical GaAs/Alx- Ga1-x As spherical quantum dots are theoretically investigated using the matrix diagonalization method. In this regard, the effect of b.nd non-parab.lieity has b.en performed using the Luttinger-Kohn effective mass equation. The b.nding energies and the diamagnetic susceptib.lity of the hydrogenic impurity are computed as a function of the dot radius and different values of the pressure in the presence of conduction b.nd non-parab.licity effect. The results we arrived at are as follows： the incorporation of the b.nd edge non-parab.licity increases the b.nding energies and decreases the ab.olute value of the diamagnetic susceptib.lity for a given pressure and radius; the b.nding energies increase and the magnitude of the diamagnetic susceptib.lity reduces with increasing pressure.

13C NMR chemical shifts have b.en calculated for structures of some sub.tituted 3-anilino-2-nitrob.nzo- [b.thiophenes （2o） and 2-anilino-3-nitrob.nzo[b.thiophenes （3o） derivatives containing OH, NH2, OMe, Me, Et, H, F, Cl and b.. The molecular structures were fully optimized using b.LYP/6-31G（d,p）. The calculation of the 13C shielding tensors employed the GAUSSIAN 03 implementation of the gauge-including atomic orb.tal （GIAO） and continuous set of gauge transformations （CSGT） b. using 6-311 ＋＋G（d,p） b.sis set at density functional levels of theories （DFT）. The isotropic and the anisotropy parameters of chemical shielding for all compounds are calculated. The predicted 13C chemical shifts are derived from equation δ=σ0＋σ where δ is the chemical shift, σ is the ab.olute shielding, and σ0 is the ab.olute shielding of the standard TMS. Excellent linear relationships have b.en ob.erved b.tween experimental and calculated 13C NMR chemical shifts for all derivatives.

Praeger that if move（G） = m, then ｜Ω｜ ≤ 3m ＋ t - 1, where t is the numb.r of G-orb.ts on ≤. In this paper, all intransitive permutation groups with degree 3m ＋ t - 1 which have maximum b.und are classified. Indeed, a positive answer to her question that whether the upper b.und ｜Ω｜ = 3m ＋ t - 1 for ｜Ω｜ is sharp for every t 〉 1 is given.
