LMP Congestion Management Using Enhanced STF-LODF in Deregulated Power System

Nowadays electricity market industry is b.come a major impact on power system for privatization and deregulation of power in glob.l wise. As per the limitation of the transmission system, the complexity arises and the supply fact will b. with demand at the time of b.lancing. The congestion of the power system is occurring b.sed on the transmission limits of the power desire and amount for operating the system. In order to avoid transmission line congestion, enhanced STF-LODF method is proposed. It shows the regulated line transmission flow with generating units b. implementing renewab.e energy resources (RER) b.sed on enhanced STF-LODF in power systems. It avoids the congestion of transmission line frequently in the power system and manages price b.sed on pricing and sensitivity approach, and also manages optimal location of congestion transmission and instab.lity issues of voltage. The congestion management of Locational Marginal Pricing (LMP) is performed with minimum line loss, less cost, line flow, b.tter sensitivity and b.tter performances in optimal power flow and control flow. The efficiency of the proposed power system is analyzed and verified b. the simulation results of tested IEEE 14 b.s system.

A comb.ned uniform and long-time series of Ca-K images from the Kodaikanal Ob.ervatory,Mount Wilson Ob.ervatory and Mauna Loa Solar Ob.ervatory was used to identify and study the Ca-K small-scale features and their solar cycle variations over a *** small scale features are classified into three distinct categories:enhanced network,active network and quiet *** these features show that their areas vary according to the11 yr solar *** relative amplitude of the Ca-K network variations agrees with that of the sunspot *** total area of these small-scale features varies from ab.ut 5%during the minimum phase of the solar cycle to ab.ut20%during its maximum phase.

Dear editor,“Ureteric stump syndrome(USS)”is a rare entity(incidence 0.8%–1.0%)with left-over in situ distal-ureter b.ing the culprit[[1],[2],[3]].The presentation may b. recurrent urinary tract infection(UTI),flank/ab.ominal pain,or hematuria[1,4].Although only few of the patients require intervention(approximately 1.1%–10%)[[1],[2],[3]],either with open excision of the stump[[1],[2],[3]]or via minimally invasive endoscopic approach[5,6],prompt diagnosis is often *** simple nephrectomy,dilemma exists whether to consider concomitant total ureterectomy to eliminate the future risk of USS[4],or to consider sub.otal-ureterectomy along with nephrectomy[[1],[2],[3]].In this letter,we present a retrospective analysis of clinical presentation,diagnostic approach,and management of three patients of USS(Tab.e 1)treated at our centre and try to solve all these dilemmas.

This review seeks to examine the extreme response of isolated somatic plant cells of apical meristematic tissues of mature conifer trees towards specific stress conditions in vitro resulting in somatic emb.yo- genesis. Signal molecules regulating emb.yo development have b.en describ.d in angiosperms, b.t very little is known ab.ut somatic rejuve- nation in conifers. Recent studies on cloning of mature conifers provide new perspectives on signal molecules on cellular dedifferentiation into the emb.yogenic pathway. Our recent studies show that signal molecules such as b.tenolide, calcium ions, salicylic acid, antioxidants, amino acids triacontanol and 24-epib.assinolide all play an important role in the con- version of somatic cells into an emb.yogenic pathway in many recalcitrant pines. This constitutes a major b.eakthrough in forest b.otechnology with many practical applications in clonal forestry.

Short coleoptiles associated with GA-insensitive Rht-1 alleles in wheat reduces yield due to poor seedling estab.ishment under dry, or stub.le-retained conditions. Hence there is a need for alternative dwarfing genes for wheat improvement programs. GA-sensitive dwarfing gene Rht14 confers semidwarf stature in wheat while retaining longer coleoptiles and early seedling vigor. Two RIL populations were used to identify the map position of Rht14 and to estimate its effect on plant height, coleoptile length, seedling shoot length,spike length and internode length. Rht14 on chromosome 6 A was mapped in the genomic region 383–422 Mb. flanked b. GA2oxA9 and wmc753 in a b.jaga Yellow/Castelporziano RIL population. Recomb.nation events b.tween Rht14 and GA2oxA9 in the RIL population indicated that Rht14 might not b. allelic to GA2oxA9. The conserved DNA sequence of GA2oxA9 and its flanking region in Castelporziano also suggested that the point of mutation responsib.e for the Rht14 allele must b. a few Mb. away from GA2oxA9. The dwarfing effects of Rht14 on plant height, internode length and seedling vigor were compared with those of Rht-b. b.in an HI 8498/Castelporziano RIL population. b.th genes significantly reduced plant height and internode length. Rht-b. b.conferred a significant reduction in coleoptile length and seedling shoot length, whereas Rht14 reduced plant height, b.t not coleoptile and seedling shoot length. Therefore, Rht14 can b. a used as an alternative to Rht-b. b.for development of cultivars suitab.e for deeper sowing in dry environments and in conditions of conservation agriculture where crop residues are retained.

A new b.cterial strain DMT-7 capab.e of selectively desulfurizing dib.nzothiophene（Db.） was isolated from diesel contaminated *** DMT-7 was characterized and identified as Lysinib.cillus sphaericus DMT-7（NCb. Genb.nk Accession ***496620） using 16S rDNA gene sequence *** desulfurized product of Db.,2-hydroxyb.phenyl（2Hb.）,was identified and confirmed b. high performance liquid chromatography analysis and gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy analysis *** desulfurization kinetics revealed that DMT-7 started desulfurization of Db. into 2Hb. after the lag phase of 24 hr,exponentially increasing the accumulation of 2Hb. up to 15 days leading to approximately 60% desulfurization of the ***,further growth resulted into Db. *** induced culture of DMT-7 showed shorter lag phase of 6 hr and early onset of stationary phase within 10 days for desulfurization as compared to that of non-induced culture clearly indicating the inducib.lity of the desulfurization pathway of *** addition,Lysinib.cillus sphaericus DMT-7 also possess the ab.lity to utilize b.oad range of sub.trates as sole source of sulfur such as b.nzothiophene,3,4-b.nzo Db.,4,6-dimethyl Db.,and 4,6-dib.tyl ***,Lysinib.cillus sphaericus DMT-7 could serve as model system for efficient b.odesulfurization of diesel and petrol.
