Crack growth behavior of SRR99 single crystal superalloy under thermal fatigue

The thermal fatigue behavior of a single crystal superalloy SRR99 was investigated. Specimens with V-type notch were tested at the peak temperatures of 900, 1000, and 1100℃. The crack growth curves as a function of the number of cycles were plotted. With the increase of peak temperature, the crack initiation life was shortened dramatically. Through optical microscopy （OM） and scanning electron microscopy （SEM） observation, it was found that multiple small cracks nucleated at the notch tip region but only one or two of them continued to develop in the following thermal cycles. The primary cracks generally propagated along a preferential direction. Microstructure changes after thermal fatigue were also discussed on the basis of SEM observation.

A new Cu(II) complex [Cu(4-cba)(1,10-phen)(H2O)2](NO3) (4-Hcba = 4-cyanobe- nzoic acid) has been synthesized by solvothermal reaction in an ethanol/water mixed solution at 100 ℃ and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Crystallographic data: C20H16Cu- N4O7, Mr = 487.91, triclinic, space group P1, a = 7.8420(2), b = 9.1070(2), c = 15.1140(6) ?, α = 76.889(9), β = 81.332(11), γ = 74.844(11)°, V = 1009.89(5) ?3, Z = 2, Dc = 1.605 g/cm3, F(000) = 498, μ = 1.134 mm–1, the final R = 0.0379 and wR = 0.0865 for 2977 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). The Cu(II) atom is coordinated by two terminal water molecules, one chelating 1,10-phen molecule and one monodentate 4-cba ligand to form a slightly distorted square pyramid. The title complex molecules are connected through hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking interactions to generate a 2D layered network. The thermogravimetric analysis of the title complex has also been discussed.

The Upper Cretaceous dinosaur egg-bearing deposits in Henan Province,central china are divided into three formations in ascending order:Gaogou,Majiacun and *** Gaogou Formation belongs to alluvial fan deposits containing the fossil dinosaur egg assemblage of Faveoloolithus,Dendroolithus,Dictyoolithus,Paraspheroolithus and *** Majiacun Formation is interpreted as braided stream to meandering stream deposits with assemblage of Ovaloolithus,Paraspheroolithus,Placoolithus,Dendroolithus,Prismatoolithus, rare Youngoolithus and *** Sigou Formation is shallow lacustrine/palustrine to low-sinuosity river sedimentary rocks with assemblage of Macroolithus,Elongatoolithus,Ovaloolithus and Paraspheroolithus. To date,37 oospecies,13 oogenera and 8 oofamilies of dinosaur eggs have been *** dinosaur eggs are preserved in the floodplain deposits,whereas allochthonous and parautochthonous dinosaur eggs are preserved in the alluvial *** suggests that river floodplains are the best environments for the preservation of numerous autochthonous dinosaur *** preservation of most dinosaur eggs in brown to red calcic palaeosoils,muddy siltstones or mudstones suggests that the paleoclimate of the nesting area was *** presence of gray and green mudstone and coal layers,however,indicates that there existed an ephemeral subhumid climate during the middle and Late *** is suggested that such a climate was favorable for the development of meandering streams in a vegetated environment.

The Lower Tarim River in NW china is under severe ecosystem degradation due to stopped stream flow and diminished groundwater *** year 2000,eight water diversions from the upper stream and from the neighboring Kaidu-Kongque River have been implemented to alleviate the ecosystem disaster. In order to assess the effectiveness of the water diversion project and to identify proper tracers of groundwater dynamics,we sampled the riparian groundwater system in 2007 and 2008 along the 350 km-long river channel through the 40 monitoring wells situated along nine transects perpendicular to the river and three soil *** on the samples have included environmental isotopes (O,H,H)and water *** results show that remarkable changes have been induced by the water *** observed response of riparian groundwater system includes general decrease in total dissolved solid(TDS)and rise of water *** with greater than 1 m rise in water table is within～700 m from the riverbank in the upper segments and～300 m in the lower *** rise of water table occurs near the river *** data show that the extent of modern recharge(since 1960s),including that from the diverted water,is limited to 600 m from the riverbank at the upper segments and 200 m at the lower *** isotopes show that groundwaters,regardless of modern or pre-modern,are enriched in heavy isotopes and are plotted in parallel to the meteoric water line in theδ-δplot,attributed to evaporation during *** is generally of Na-Mg-Cl-SO type and is formed by dissolution of minerals,such as halite,sulfate,and carbonates,based on component correlation matrices *** salinity of groundwater is mainly affected by that of the diverted water and of the local antecedent groundwater,salts in the unsaturated zone,evapotranspiration during *** the zone of smaller groundwater depth(less than 5 m)suitable for the most existing Populus euphratica and

In this article, a kind of microfluidic method based on MEMS technology combined with gold immunochromatographic assay (GICA) is developed and *** to the traditional GICA,this method supplies us convenient , multi-channel, in-parallel, low cost and similar efficiency approach in the fields of alpha-fetopro-tei (AFP)***, we improved the adhesion between the model material SU-8 and Silicon wafer, optimized approaches of the fabrication of the SU-8 model systematically, and fabricate the PDMS micro fluid chip with good reproduction ***, Surface modification and antibody immobilization methods with the GICA on the PDMS micro fluid analysis chip are studied, we choose the PDMS material and transfer GICA to the PDMS micro fluid chip successfully after researching the antibody immobilization efficiency of different materials utilized in fabrication of the micro fluid *** order to improve the reaction efficiency of the immobilized antibody, we studied the characteristics of micro fluid without the gas drive, and the fluid velocity control in our design;we also design structure of grove to strengthen the ability of immobilizing the antibody. The stimulation of the structure shows that it achieves great improvement and experiments prove the design is feasible.
