The physicochem.cal properties,including the density,viscosity,and refractive index of aqueous solutions of sodium.glycinate as a solvent for CO_2 absorption in the non-precipitation regim. were m.asured under the wide tem.erature range of 298.15 to 343.15 *** concentration of the sodium.glycinate in an aqueous form.in the non-precipitation regim. was identified up to 2.0 m.l ? L^(-1).The coefficients of therm.l expansion values were estim.ted from.m.asured density *** was found that,the densities,viscosities and refractive indices of the aqueous sodium.glycinate decrease with an increase in tem.erature,whereas with increasing sodium.glycinate concentration in the solution,all three properties *** expansion coefficients slightly increase with rising tem.erature and *** m.asured values of density,viscosity and refractive index were correlated as a function of tem.erature by using the least squares *** predicted data obtained from.correlation equations for all m.asured properties were in fairly good agreem.nt with the experim.ntal data.

We studied the depth distribution of periphyton,growing on inundated dead trees in Kenyir Lake,m.laysia in June *** algal floral com.osition and structure m.nifested changes down the depth gradient in term. of species richness,abundance,diversity and cell *** regression analysis,all these algal attributes were negatively correlated with the depth gradients at Pm. of species richness,the bacillariophytes showed dom.nance over the cyanophytes and chlorophytes;whereas with respect to standing crop,the cyanophytes showed dom.nance over the bacillariophytes and *** chlorophyll a was higher at the m.d and bottom.depths than the surface-depth in both the downstream.and upstream.sites,which showed that vertical productivity or biom.ss accum.lation was greater in low light *** product-m.m.nt correlation analysis showed that conductivity,turbidity,dissolved oxygen,reactive phosphate and am.onium.nitrogen were highly correlated with the algal assem.lage ***,photosynthetic active radiation(PAR) showed poor correlation with the com.unity *** observations have cast som. light on the autoecological characteristics,habitat preferences and environm.ntal responses of tropical periphytic com.unities.

For the m.del of a Closed Phase Locked Loop (CPLL) com.unication System.consists of both the transm.ssion and receiver ends. This m.del is considered to be in a m.lti-order interm.ttent chaotic state. The chaotic signals are then synchronized along side with our system. This chaotic synchronization will be dem.nstrated and furtherm.re, a m.dulation will be form.d to exam.ne the system.if it will perfectly reconstruct or not. Finally we will dem.nstrate the synchronization conditions of the system.

In this study,?a 2-D m.D free convection incom.ressible electrically induced boundary layer analysis on a water/nano-fluidic m.xture. The ODE solution is num.rically analyzed with a Runge-Kutta m.del as the therm.physical properties on a m.gnetic variation as well as tem.erature ranges of buoyancy effects on the T and V profiles and the wall force friction on the flow is also studied. The tem.erature and velocity gradients have a significant differential change is been observed in this study.

m.cro electro m.chanical system. are studied in this paper along to com.aring the design, fabrication, and operation of such devices especially in the electronic industry. The advancem.nts of such system. are im.ortant as scale reduction is becom.ng m.re econom.cal and also in heat dissipation efficiencies. Furtherm.re, the fabrication techniques are becom.ng m.re of a challenge in today’s industrial m.rket. In this paper we will introduce a com.arative study of experim.ntal research in the m.cro scale heat exchanger with varieties of industrial application prim.rily cooling integrated circuits. Significant effect in the process of cooling electronic devices has showed experim.ntally that scale variations im.act into this im.rovem.nt. Num.rical studies have been a leading technique in the developm.nt of therm.l system. especially at the m.cro or sm.ll scales which helps the industry to cut cost and provide innovative products at high efficiencies. There are so m.ny approaches to num.rical analysis and research, where the availability of ready to use software and data acquisition m.dules is variant. m.terial selection is also a variable in the efficiency and operations of these m.cro channel therm.l system.and heat exchangers.

Carbon dioxide （CO2） rem.val is an essential step in natural gas （NG） processing to provide high quality gas stream.products and m.nim.ze operational difficulties. This prelim.nary study alm. to investigate the rem.val of CO2 at high concentration level from.the m.xture of CO2-NG gas stream.at elevated pressure via absorption process. This is to explore the possibility of exploring high CO2 content natural gas reserves by treatm.nt at offshore platform. A m.xed am.ne solvent, Stonvent-II, was used for the absorption of approxim.tely 75 vol% CO2 in CO2-NG stream.at a pressure of 10 barg. The initial solvent tem.erature was varied in order to study the im.act of initial tem.erature on the absorption perform.nce. Prelim.nary study at tem.eratures of 35 ℃ and 45 ℃ indicates that Stonvent-II was able to perform.alm.st 100% rem.val of CO2 under both conditions. However, the CO2 absorption effect took place faster when the initial liquid tem.erature was lower. This is because when the initial liquid tem.erature is high, the tem.erature increase in the packing bed caused by the reaction heat is high which im.acts the efficiency of absorption negatively.

The surface tension study is very crucial for the design of CO2 gas absorption contacting equipm.nt. The significance of the surface tension has been increasing due to its consideration in various technological fields. This property influences the m.ss transfer and hydrodynam.cs of gas absorption system., m.inly m.ltiphase system., in which the interface between gas and liquid exists. Therefore, in this study, surface tension of aqueous solutions of sodium.L-prolinate(SP) and piperazine(PZ) blends were m.asured at ten different tem.eratures from.298.15 to 343.15) K. The SP m.ss fractions were 0.10, 0.20, and 0.30;while the m.ss fractions of PZ were 0.02 and 0.05. The experim.ntal results showed that the surface tension increase with increasing the m.ss fractions of SP and PZ in aqueous blends, and decrease linearly with rising tem.erature. The experim.ntal data of surface tension were correlated by two em.irical correlations as a function of tem.erature and m.ss fractions for estim.ting the predicted data using the optim.zed correlation coefficients. m.reover, the m.deling of surface tension data was carried out using Artificial Neural Network(ANN) approach. The results obtianed from.ANN m.deling were com.ared with applied em.irical correlation. It was found that the ANN approach outperform.d the em.irical correlation used in this study. Besides, a quantitative analysis of variation(ANOVA) was perform.d in order to determ.ne the significance of data. The surface tension of aqueous SP and SP + PZ was also com.ared with various conventional solvents.

Novel Solar Powered Cold Water Dispenser

Solar powered cold water dispenser apparatus is fabricated and experim.ntal results are shown in this work. The system.contains solar panels, two low energy fans, water tank fabricated from.clay (pottery), therm.lly sealed box, and pipes. Once these contents are connected together, testing was conducted on water tem.eratures at both ends. The prelim.nary results showed a drop in tem.erature of around 15℃. This is achieved by utilizing free power from.the sun.
