Enhancement of Large Renewable Distributed Generation Penetration Levels at the Point of Common Coupling

The occurrence of distortion and over voltage at the Point of Common Coupling(PCC)of Renewable Distributed Generation(RDG)limits its penetration levels to the power system and the RDG integration is expected to play a crucial role in power system *** its penetrations to be sustained without disconnection from the system,there must be a solution to the voltage rise,distortion,unbalanced current and grid reactive power control strategy at *** is an IEEE-1547 requirement that RDG integration to the power system should be regulated at PCC to avoid disconnection from the network due to power quality *** integration must meet up with this specification to uphold power quality and avoid damage to the sensitive equipment connected at *** this paper,voltage rise,unbalanced current,reactive power and distortion are being managed at PCC while Distribution Network(DN)accepts more RDG penetration levels without violation of the IEEE and south Africa grid code *** Power Filter and Full Bridge Multi-Level Converter(FBMC)are considered to safeguard power quality to the grid,they are modelled in MATLAB/sIMULINK and the results obtained shown that the proposed strategy can successfully regulate voltage rise,distortion,unbalanced current and continuously improve power quality with RDG integration at *** proposed method’s key innovation is the strategic generation and absorption of reactive power to curtain an overvoltage,reverse power flow,and distortion at the PCC,allowing more RDG penetration levels to the grid without disconnection while maintaining the standard requirement for power quality at the *** simulation outcomes validate the superiority of the FBMC over the active power filter with respect of reactive power generation/absorption,dynamic response,and damping capability.

The generalized Riccati equation mapping method(GREMM)is used in this paper to obtain different types of soliton solutions for nonlinear schrödinger equation with higher dimension that existed in the regimes of anomalous ***,we use the q-homotopy analysis method combined with the Laplace transform(q-HATM)to obtain approximate solutions of the bright and dark optical *** q-HATM illustrates the solutions as a rapid convergent *** addition,to show the physical behavior of the solutions obtained by the proposed techniques,the graphical representation has been provided with some parameter *** findings demonstrate that the proposed techniques are useful,efficient and reliable mathematical method for the extraction of soliton solutions.

The solution for phytoplankton-toxic phytoplankton-zooplankton system with qhomotopy analysis transform method(q-HATM)is *** projected system exemplifies three components(namely,zooplankton,toxic-phytoplankton as well as phytoplankton)and the corresponding nonlinear ordinary differential equations exemplify the zooplankton feeds on *** projected method is an amalgamation of q-homotopy analysis algorithm and Laplace transform and the derivative associated with the Atangana-Baleanu(AB)*** equilibrium points and stability have been discussed with the assistance of the Routh-Hurwitz rule in this work within the frame of generalized *** fixed-point theorem is employed to present the existence and uniqueness of the attained result for the considered model,and we consider five different initial conditions for the projected ***,the physical nature of the achieved solution has been captured for fractional order,external force and diverse *** achieved consequences explicate that the proposed solution method is highly methodical,easy to implement and accurate to analyze the behavior of the nonlinear system relating to allied areas of science and technology.

Quantification of wing and body kinematics in connection to torque generation during damselfly yaw turn

This study provides accurate measurements of the wing and body kinematics of three different species of damselflies in free yaw turn fights. The yaw turn is characterized by a short acceleration phase which is immediately followed by an elongated deceleration phase. Most of the heading change takes place during the latter stage of the flight. Our observations showed that yaw turns are executed via drastic rather than subtle changes in the kinematics of all four wings. The motion of the inner and outer wings were found to be strongly linked through their orientation as well as their velocities with the inner wings moving faster than the outer wings. By controlling the pitch angle and wing velocity, a damselfly adjusts the angle of attack. The wing angle of attack exerted the strongest influence on the yaw torque, followed by the flapping and deviation velocities of the wings. Moreover, no evidence of active generation of counter torque was found in the flight data implying that deceleration and stopping of the maneuver is dominated by passive damping. The systematic analysis carried out on the free flight data advances our understanding of the mechanisms by which these insects achieve their observed maneuverability. In addition, the inspiration drawn from this study can be employed in the design of low frequency flapping wing micro air vehicles （MAV＇s）.

The main objective of this study is to find novel wave solutions for the time-fractional generalized Rosenau-Kawahara-RLW equation, which occurs in unidirectional water wave propagation. The generalized Rosenau-Kawahara-RLW equation comprises three equations Rosenau equation, Kawahara equation, RLW equation and also p-th order nonlinear term. All these equations describe the wave phenomena especially the wave-wave and wave-wall interactions in shallow and narrow channel waters. The auxiliary equation method is employed to get the analytical results.

This paper studied new class of integral equation called the Korteweg-de Vries-Kadomtsev-Petviashvili(KdV-KP)*** equation consist of the well-known fifth-order KdV equation in the context of the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili *** newly gathered class of sixth-order KdV-KP equation is studied using the sub-equation method to obtain several soliton-type solutions which consist of trigonometric,hyperbolic,and rational *** application of the sub-equation approach in this work draws attention to the outstanding characteristics of the suggested method and its ability to handle completely integrable ***,the obtained solutions have not been reported in the previous literature and might have significant impact on future research.

In this study,the fifth-order modified Korteweg-de Vries(F-MKdV)equation is first addressed using Hi-rota’s bilinear ***,the exact and approximative solutions of the generalized form of the F-MKdV equation are investigated using the modified Kudryashov method,the Riccati equation and its Backlund transformation method,the solitary wave ansatz method,and the homotopy perturbation trans-form method(HPTM).As a result,solitons,breather,and solitary wave solutions are derived from these *** particular,we obtain some new solutions such as the dark soliton,bright soliton,singular soliton,periodic trigonometric,exponential,hyperbolic,and rational *** constraint conditions associated with the resulting solutions are also discussed in *** HPTM is employed to construct approximate solutions to the aforementioned generalized model due to its strong nonlinear terms and only a few terms are required to obtain accurate *** findings may help to understand com-plex nonlinear phenomena.

New solutions for four novel generalized nonlinear fractional fifth-order equations

In this paper,new four fifth-order fractional nonlinear equations are derived and *** frac-tional terms are defined in the conformable sense and these equations are then solved using two effective methods,namely,the sub-equation and the generalized Kudryashov *** methods were tested on the proposed models and succeeded in finding new solutions with different values of parameters.A graphical representation of some results is provided and proves the efficiency and applicability of the proposed methods for providing solutions with known physical *** methods are good candi-dates for solving other similar problems in the future.
