The etiology of Alzheimer’s disease is far from being completely *** approaches have helped in this matter and have greatly supported the view that theβ-amyloid precursor protein(βAPP)could be at the center of gravity of the ***,mutations responsible for autosomal dominant aggressive forms of Alzheimer’s disease(AD)are all harbored by eitherβAPP itself or by its cleaving enzyme presenilins 1/2 referred to asγ-*** was therefore convincing to note that fully independent gene products harboring AD-linked mutations,all concur to modulateβAPP proteolytic *** genetic clues combined with a bulk of anatomical observations and cellular manipulations pointed to the role of amyloid-β(Aβ),the main biochemical component of senile plaques that accumulate at late stages of ***,a series of clinical trials designed to either abolish Aβproduction or neutralize it once produced have consistently failed(Checler et al.,2021).

Sleep is a critical part of our daily *** impacts every organ and system of our body,from the brain to the heart and from cellular metabolism to immune function.A consistent daily schedule of quality of sleep makes a world of difference to our health and *** its importance,so many individuals have trouble sleeping *** quality sleep has such a detrimental impact on many aspects of our lives;it affects our thinking,learning,memory,and ***,and most poignantly,poor quality sleep over time increases the risk of developing a serious medical condition,including neurodegenerative *** this review,we focus on a potentially new non-pharmacological treatment that improves the quality of *** treatment,called photobiomodulation,involves the application of very specific wavelengths of light to body *** animal models,these wavelengths,when applied at night,have been reported to stimulate the removal of fluid and toxic waste-products from the brain;that is,they improve the brain’s inbuilt house-keeping *** suggest that transcranial nocturnal photobiomodulation,by improving brain function at night,will help improve the health and well-being of many individuals,by enhancing the quality of their sleep.
