Multiple Deep-Belief-Network-Based Spectral-Spatial Classification of Hyperspectral Images

A deep-learning-based feature extraction has recently been proposed for HyperSpectral Images(HSI)classification. A Deep Belief Network(DBN), as part of deep learning, has been used in HSI classification for deep and abstract feature extraction. However, DBN has to simultaneously deal with hundreds of features from the HSI hyper-cube, which results into complexity and leads to limited feature abstraction and performance in the presence of limited training data. Moreover, a dimensional-reduction-based solution to this issue results in the loss of valuable spectral information, thereby affecting classification performance. To address the issue, this paper presents a Spectral-Adaptive Segmented DBN(SAS-DBN) for spectral-spatial HSI classification that exploits the deep abstract features by segmenting the original spectral bands into small sets/groups of related spectral bands and processing each group separately by using local DBNs. Furthermore, spatial features are also incorporated by first applying hyper-segmentation on the HSI. These results improved data abstraction with reduced complexity and enhanced the performance of HSI classification. Local application of DBN-based feature extraction to each group of bands reduces the computational complexity and results in better feature extraction improving classification accuracy. In general, exploiting spectral features effectively through a segmented-DBN process and spatial features through hyper-segmentation and integration of spectral and spatial features for HSI classification has a major effect on the performance of HSI classification. Experimental evaluation of the proposed technique on well-known HSI standard data sets with different contexts and resolutions establishes the efficacy of the proposed techniques,wherein the results are comparable to several recently proposed HSI classification techniques.

Endoscopic therapies of gastroesophageal reflux disease

The high prevalence of gastroesophageal reflux disease （GERD） in Western societies has accelerated the need for new modalities of treatment. Currently, medical and surgical therapies are widely accepted among patients and physicians. New potent antisecretory drugs and the development of minimally invasive surgery for the management of GERD are at present the pivotal and largely accepted approaches to treatment. The minimally invasive treatment revolution, however, has stimulated several new endoscopic techniques for GERD. Up to now, the data is limited and further studies are necessary to compare the advantages and disadvantages of the various endoscopic techniques to medical and laparoscopic management of GERD. New journal articles and abstracts are continuously being published. The Food and Drug Administration has approved 3 modalities, thus gastroenterologists and surgeons are beginning to apply these techniques. Further trials and device refinements will assist clinicians. This article will present an overview of the various techniques that are currently on study. This review will report the efficacy and durability of various endoscopic therapies for gastroesophageal reflux disease （GERD）. The potential for widespread use of these techniques will also be discussed. Articles and abstracts published in English on this topic were retrieved from Pubmed. Due to limited number of studies and remarkable differences between various trials, strict criteria were not used for the pooled data presented, however, an effort was made to avoid bias by including only studies that used off-PPI scoring as baseline and intent to treat.

Syngas production from chemical looping reforming of ethanol over iron-based oxygen carriers: Theoretical analysis and experimental investigation

Chemical looping reforming(CLR)is a recent trend for syngas production,which has several merits compared to the conventional *** of the most important issues for CLR is to find low-cost material as oxygen carriers,so iron is a promising *** paper contributes to testing the thermodynamic ability of iron-based oxygen carrier for chemical looping reforming of ethanol(CLRE).Iron thermodynamically investigated in temperature 100–1300℃and excess oxygen number(φ)0–*** was found that the temperature andφhave an apparent effect on the gaseous composition produced from the *** in temperature within the range of 100–1300℃enhanced syngas generated and reduced coke formation and ***,increasedφ,particularly at higher temperatures,had also enhanced syngas production as well as reduced coke ***,increasingφfor values beyond one had decreased syngas and not significantly reduced coke ***,an experimental investigation was carried out in a fixed bed reactor for more in-depth verification of iron ability as an oxygen carrier through using magnetite ore(mainly Fe3O4).It found that the effect of temperature on syngas production was consistent with that calculated thermodynamically,as syngas increased with raising the temperature through the CLRE.

Pregnancy stressors and postpartum symptoms of depression and anxiety:the moderating role of a cognitivebehavioural therapy(CBT)intervention

Enhanced adsorptive removal of Cr(VI)in aqueous solution by polyethyleneimine modified palygorskite

Polyethyleneimine(PEI)modified palygorskite(Pal)was used for the adsorption of Cr(VI)in aqueous *** absorbent was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR)and thermogravimetric analysis(TGA).Characterized results confirmed that the Pal has been successfully modified by *** modification of PEI increased the Cr(VI)adsorption performance of the Pal by the adsorption combined reduction mechanism,and amino groups of the adsorbent play the main role in the enhanced Cr(VI)*** maximum adsorption capacity was 51.10 mg·g^-1 at pH4.0 and 25°*** adsorption kinetics of Cr(VI)on the adsorbent conforms to the Langmuir isotherm *** maximum adsorption occurs at pH3,and then the adsorption capacity of PEI-Pal was decreased with the increase of p H *** adsorption kinetics of Cr(VI)on PEI-Pal was modeled with pseudo-second-order *** addition of Cl^-,SO4^2-and PO4^3-reduced the Cr(VI)adsorption by competition with Cr(VI)for the active sites of *** Cr(VI)saturated PEI-Pal can be regenerated in alkaline solution,and the adsorption capacity can still be maintained at 30.44 mg·g^-1 after 4 *** results demonstrate that PEI-Pal can be used as a potential adsorbent of Cr(VI)in aqueous solutions.

Directional mechanical and thermal properties of single-layer black phosphorus by classical molecular dynamics

Black phosphorus （BP） has received attention due to its own higher carrier mobility and layer dependent electronic properties, such as direct band gap. Interestingly, the single layer black phosphorus （SLBP） has had large popularity in applications related to thermoelectric, optoelectronic, and electronic devices. Here, we investigate the phonon spectrum, thermal conductivities, and stress strain effects. Robust anisotropy was mainly observed in the thermal conductivities together with the alongside zigzag （ZZ） direction value, compared to the armchair （AC） directions. We also investigated the attitude of stress that was anisotropic in both directions, and the stress effects were two times greater across the ZZ path than those in the AC direction at a low temperature. We obtained a ~oung＇s modulus of 63.77 and 20.74 GPa in the AC and ZZ directions, respectively, for a strain range of 0.01. These results had good agreement with first principle calculations. Our study here is useful and significant for the thermal tuning of phosphorus-based nanoelectronics and thermalelectric applications of phosphorus.

Fully inkjet-printed three-dimensional(3D)objects with integrated metal provide exciting possibilities for on-demand fabrication of radio frequency electronics such as inductors,capacitors,and *** date,there have been several reports of printed radio frequency components metallized via the use of plating solutions,sputtering,and low-conductivity *** metallization techniques require rather complex fabrication,and do not provide an easily integrated or versatile *** work utilizes a novel silver ink cured with a low-cost infrared lamp at only 80℃,and achieves a high conductivity of 1×10^(7) S m^(−1).By inkjet printing the infrared-cured silver together with a commercial 3D inkjet ultraviolet-cured acrylic dielectric,a multilayer process is *** using a smoothing technique,both the conductive ink and dielectric provide surface roughness values of <500 nm.A radio frequency inductor and capacitor exhibit state-of-the-art quality factors of 8 and 20,respectively,and match well with electromagnetic *** components are implemented in a lumped element radio frequency filter with an impressive insertion loss of 0.8 dB at 1 GHz,proving the utility of the process for sensitive radio frequency applications.

Syntheses,Spectral Studies and Bioanalyses of Some Triorganotin(IV) Complexes of Cephlaxine

Five novel triorganotin（IV） complexes have been synthesized by refluxing trimethyl, triethyl, tributyl, triphenyl and tribenzyltin chloride with Cephlaxine. These compounds were characterized by spectroscopic （IR, IH, 13C, 119Sn NMR） techniques and elemental analysis. The results obtained through these techniques are in full agreement with the proposed 1：1 stoichiometry. The synthesized compounds were than tested against various microorganisms and fungi. The results of new products obtained showed that the triphenyltin（IV） complex displayed promising activity against all types of bacteria and fungi used while all other compounds showed significant antibacterial and antifungal activity.
