The completely unexplored LaP molecule is investigated by ab initio methods. Potential energy curves for the lowlying states of LaP are constructed by means of the diffusion Monte Carlo method combined with three different trial functions. Spectroscopic constants are also numerically derived and the ground state is assigned, looking forward to experimental comparisons. Moreover, variations of the permanent dipole moments as a function of the internuclear separation for the two lowest states of the diatomic LaP are studied and analyzed.

Limiting toxic elements from being exposed to the world’s atmosphere has been the biggest challenge among environmental researchers and *** change conferences have been counselling the global economies to take serious steps toward profound decarbonization to keep the universal temperature below 1.5*** this context,the direction of environmental research has changed,and researchers are more focused on tracing how to limit pollution and keep it below the threshold *** this milieu,nuclear energy can make a big difference along with other alternatives to fossil ***,we extend the extant literature by exploring the dynamic effects of atomic energy and ICT on carbon emissions(CO_(2))for top nuclear energy countries using data from 1990 to *** obtain robust findings,we deploy a novel non-parametric econometric approach(i.e.,method of moments quantile regression).The results suggest that nuclear energy is a sustainable alternative to historical fossil fuel as it curbs CO_(2)emissions in the lower,middle,and upper ***,our findings corroborate that ICT penetration through the internet,mobile and telephone plays a vital role in improving environmental ***,we unveil that linear economic growth jeopardizes the environment by unleashing harmful *** findings also support the existence of the Environmental Kuznets Curve(EKC)hypothesis by confirming the negative association between the polynomial economic growth(squared-GDP)and CO_(2)emissions among the designated ***,the Granger causality test reaffirms the causal nexus among selected series that runs from nuclear energy and technological innovation to CO_(2)emissions,indicating that any policy shock in both series leads to environmental ***,therefore,advocate that the designated territories keep enriching their energy baskets with nuclear energy and boost ICT penetration to achieve a 100%decoupling of economic growth from pollution.

Automatic Detection of Nephrops Norvegicus Burrows from Underwater Imagery Using Deep Learning

The Norway lobster,Nephrops norvegicus,is one of the main commercial crustacean fisheries in *** abundance of Nephrops norvegicus stocks is assessed based on identifying and counting the burrows where they live from underwater videos collected by camera systems mounted on *** Spanish Oceanographic Institute(IEO)andMarine Institute Ireland(MIIreland)conducts annual underwater television surveys(UWTV)to estimate the total abundance of Nephrops within the specified area,with a coefficient of variation(CV)or relative standard error of less than 20%.Currently,the identification and counting of the Nephrops burrows are carried out manually by the marine *** is quite a time-consuming *** a solution,we propose an automated system based on deep neural networks that automatically detects and counts the Nephrops burrows in video footage with high *** proposed system introduces a deep-learning-based automated way to identify and classify the Nephrops *** research work uses the current state-of-the-art Faster RCNN models Inceptionv2 and MobileNetv2 for object detection and *** conduct experiments on two data sets,namely,the Smalls Nephrops survey(FU 22)and Cadiz Nephrops survey(FU 30),collected by Marine Institute Ireland and Spanish Oceanographic Institute,*** the results,we observe that the Inception model achieved a higher precision and recall rate than *** best mean Average Precision(mAP)recorded by the Inception model is 81.61%compared to MobileNet,which achieves the best mAP of 75.12%.

In high-density gatherings,crowd disasters frequently occur despite all the safety *** detection of congestion in human crowds using automated analysis of video footage can prevent crowd *** work on the prevention of crowd disasters has been based on manual analysis of video *** methods also measure crowd congestion by estimating crowd ***,crowd density alone cannot provide reliable information about *** paper proposes a deep learning framework for automated crowd congestion detection that leverages pedestrian *** proposed framework divided the input video into several temporal *** then extracted dense trajectories from each temporal segment and converted these into a spatio-temporal image without losing information.A classification model based on convolutional neural networks was then trained using spatio-temporal ***,we generated a score map by encoding each point trajectory with its respective class *** this,we obtained the congested regions by employing the non-maximum suppression method on the score ***,we demonstrated the proposed framework’s effectiveness by performing a series of experiments on challenging video sequences.

First-principles calculations by means of the full-potential linearized augmented plane wave method using the generalized gradient approximation with correlation effect correction（GGA＋U） within the framework of spin polarized density functional theory（DFT＋U） are used to study the structural,electronic,and magnetic properties of cubic perovskite compounds RbXF3（X = Mn,V,Co,and Fe）.It is found that the calculated structural parameters,i.e.,lattice constant,bulk modulus,and its pressure derivative are in good agreement with the previous *** results reveal that the strong spin polarization of the 3d states of the X atoms is the origin of ferromagnetism in *** energies and the magnetic moments of RbXF3 have also been *** calculated electronic properties show the half-metallic nature of RbCoF3 and RbFeF3,making these materials suitable for spintronic applications.

We employ ab-initio calculations to analyze the mechanical, electronic, optical and also thermoelectric properties associated with AGeO3（A = Ca, Sr） compounds. The full-potential linearized augmented plane wave（FP-LAPW） technique in the generalized gradient approximation（GGA-PBEsol） and the lately designed Tran-Blaha-modified Becke-Johnson exchange potential are utilized to examine the mechanical and optoelectronic properties respectively. To explore the thermoelectric quality, we use the semi-classical Boltzmann transport theory. The particular structural stabilities regarding AGeO3（A = Ca, Sr） materials are validated simply by computations from the elastic constants. The energy band structural framework and the density of states are displayed to indicate indirect bandgap under ambient conditions. The particular computed optical attributes that reveal prospective optoelectronic applications are usually elucidated simply by studying ε1（0） and also Eg, which can be connected by means of Penn＇s design. The optical details uncover the actual suitability to power ranging products. Finally, the Boltz Tra P code is executed to analyze the actual thermoelectric properties, which usually presents that the increase of internal temperatures can enhance the electric conductivity, thermal conductivity and also the power factor, whilst Seebeck coefficient decreases. Therefore, the studied materials will also be ideal for thermoelectric products to understand helpful option for alternative energy resources.

Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy （LIBS） technique has been applied to inves- tigate two different types of bacteria, Escherichia coli （B1） and Micrococcus luteus （B2） deposited on glass slides using Spectrolaser 7000. LIBS spectra were analyzed using spectrolaser software. LIBS spectrum of glass substrate was compared with bacteria spectra. Ca, Mg, Na, K, P, S, C1, Fe, A1, Mn, Cu, C, H and CN-band appeared in bacterial samples in air. Two carbon lines at 193.02 nm, 247.88 nm and one hydrogen line at 656.28 nm with intensity ratios of 1.9, 1.83 and 1.53 appeared in bacterial samples B1 and B2 respectively. Carbon and hydrogen are the important components of the bio-samples like bacteria and other cancer cells. Investigation on LIBS spectra of the samples in He and Ar atmospheres is also presented. Ni lines appeared only in B2 sample in Ar atmosphere. From the present experimental results we are able to show that LIBS technique has a potential in the identification and discrimination of different types of bacteria.

Many parameters have been indicated crucial for the selection of a saline aquifer as a carbon dioxide(CO_(2))storage ***,less attention has been given to the impact of heterogeneity on the performance of these storage ***,the heterogeneity effect was evaluated in this paper by adopting a numerical modeling approach and the existing screening criterion developed for the aquifers was *** updated criterion for CO_(2)storage purpose would enhance the confidence level during the selection of deep saline aquifer and thus,help to address the climate change *** numerical modeling was carried out via CO_(2)STORE module of Eclipse300 Simulator to evaluate the effect of different levels of heterogeneity on CO_(2)storage *** degrees of heterogeneity from homogenous systems to highly heterogeneous systems in the model were incorporated through the Lorenz *** this way,simulation of nine cases was carried out for three different aquifers with different porosity values.A comparison of these results showed that heterogeneity causes the aquifer to have lower storage *** the trapping potential,dissolution trapping was significant and the amount of free gas in all cases was *** addition,the aquifer with the highest level of heterogeneity(HLH)had a minimum fraction of residual trapping regardless of *** was also found that final pressure at the end of 30 years is the same and high for low-level heterogeneity(LLH)and medium level heterogeneity(MLH)cases and low for HLH,while the injection rate stability duration is least for HLH and maximum for *** on the results obtained,it can be concluded that low to medium level heterogeneous aquifers with a good porosity can be a suitable choice for CO_(2)storage.
