Middle.e.st re.piratory syndrome.coronavirus(Me.S-Co V) has e.e.ge. in the.Arabian Gulf re.ion, with its e.ice.tre.in Saudi Arabia, the.host of the.‘Hajj' which is the.world's the.large.t mass gathe.ing. Transmission of Me.S-Co V at such an e.e.t could le.d to its rapid worldwide.disse.ination. The.e.ore. we.studie. the.fre.ue.cy of viruse. causing influe.za-like.illne.se.(ILI) among participants in a randomise. controlle. trial at the.Hajj 2013. We.re.ruite. 1038 pilgrims from Saudi Arabia, Australia and Qatar during the.first day of Hajj and followe. the. close.y for four days. A nasal swab was colle.te. from e.ch pilgrim who de.e.ope. ILI. Re.piratory viruse. we.e.de.e.te. using multiple. RT-PCR. ILI occurre. in 112/1038(11%) pilgrims. The.r me.n age.was 35 ye.rs, 49(44%) we.e.male.and 35(31%) had re.e.ve. the.influe.za vaccine.pre.Hajj. Forty two(38%) pilgrims had laboratory-confirme. viral infe.tions; 28(25%) rhinovirus, 5(4%) influe.za A, 2(2%) ade.ovirus, 2(2%) human coronavirus OC43/229 e. 2(2%) parainflue.za virus 3, 1(1%) parainflue.za virus 1, and 2(2%) dual infe.tions. No Me.S-Co V was de.e.te. in any sample. Rhinovirus was the.commone.t cause.of ILI among Hajj pilgrims in 2013. Infe.tion control and appropriate.vaccination are.ne.e.sary to pre.e.t transmission of re.piratory viruse. at Hajj and othe. mass gathe.ings.

We.aim to e.aluate.the.succe.s rate.and outcome.of me.ical manage.e.t for Ce.are.n scar pre.nancy. Me.hods: It was a re.rospe.tive.de.criptive.study of all ce.are.n scar pre.nancie. manage. at fe.al me.icine.unit at Latifa Hospital in Dubai, UAe.the.main obste.rics & Gyne.ology te.tiary hospital in Dubai e.irate. UAe.from 2015 to 2017. Ce.tainly, a se. of diagnostic crite.ia we.e.imple.e.te. to confirm the.diagnosis of CSP. The.case. we.e.the. offe.e. our propose. manage.e.t which is syste.ic me.hotre.ate.inje.tions ± KCL. Follow up made.by se.ial βhcg and ultrasound scan. The.data we.e.colle.te. use. spe.ifie. data colle.tion she.t for this purpose.the. analyze. and pre.e.te. using statistical package.for social scie.ce. (SPSS) ve.sion 26. Re.ults: 33 case. of ce.are.n scar pre.nancie. are.confirme. and me.ically manage. during the.study pe.iod. The.study subje.ts compose. of a group of patie.ts who had a viable.CSP and re.e.ve. local KCL inje.tion + syste.ic me.hotre.ate. a se.ond group who had non-viable.CSP and re.e.ve. syste.ic me.hotre.ate.20 case. we.e.viable.pre.nancie. who re.e.ve. combine. local potassium chloride.plus syste.ic me.hotre.ate. and 13 we.e.non-viable.re.e.ve. syste.ic me.hotre.ate.only. The.me.n ge.tational age.at diagnosis was 8 we.ks (SD ± 1.8). On ave.age.our case. had a history of 3 pre.ious ce.are.n se.tions (range.1 - 6).
