Ovarian ve.n thromb.sis (OVT) is a rare.thromb.tic condition commonly attrib.te. to the.pue.pe.ium. The.complications of OVT can b. significant, and diagnosis re.ie. on a high clinical inde. of suspicion. It can occur with lowe. quadrant pain that may mimic a surgical ab.ome., e.pe.ially in the.se.ting of re.e.t pre.nancy, ab.ominal surge.y, inflammatory dise.se. or malignancy. Diagnosis can b. made.with confide.ce.using ultrasound, compute. tomography, or magne.ic re.onance.imaging. Cae.are.n se.tion is a major ope.ation which should b. pe.forme. with maximum care.and safe.y. Ob.e.tive.: This study aime. to find incide.ce. indications, proce.ure. and mate.nal outcome.of re.laparotomy afte. cae.are.n de.ive.y. Me.hods: This was a de.criptive.cross se.tional prospe.tive.total cove.age.hospital b.se. study conducte. at Omdurman Mate.nity Hospital from June.2014 to January 2015. Re.ults: The.incide.ce.for re.laparotomy afte. Cae.are.n se.tion is (0.66%) and the.main indication for re.laparotomy is he.orrhagic e.e.ts. Re.laparotomy outcome.re.orte. 22 case. (64.7%) alive.and we.l and 6 case. (17.6%) alive.with morb.dity (re.al failure.and massive.b.ood transfusion complications) and 6 case. (17.6%) of mate.nal mortality mainly due.to se.sis. Conclusion: Re.laparotomy afte. Cae.are.n se.tion is contrib.ting to morb.dity and mate.nal mortality. The.majority of re.laparotomy was done.afte. e.e.ge.cy Cae.are.n se.tion. Me.hods: This is a syste.atic case.control study on antib.otics pre.cription for pae.iatric patie.ts atte.ding Latifa Hospital for Wome. and Childre. (LWCH), Dub.i He.lth Authority, to know the.e.fe.ts of b.havioral inte.ve.tions on rate. of inappropriate.antimicrob.als pre.cription b. doctors in the.Pae.iatric e.e.ge.cy De.artme.t. Re.ults: The.re.ults of our study showe. the.e.fe.tive.e.s of b.havioral insights b. pe.r comparison in antib.otic use.among pae.iatricians in Latifa Hospital had a statistical significance.(P = 0.0038). The.rate.of the.pre.cription de.re.se. from 41% to 21%, a diffe.e.ce.of 20%. UAe.from 2015 to 2017. Ce.tainly, a se. of diagnostic crite.ia we.e.imple.e.te. to confirm the.diagnosis of CSP. The.case. we.e.the. offe.e. our propose. manage.e.t which is syste.ic me.hotre.ate.inje.tions ± KCL. Follow up made.b. se.ial βhcg and ultrasound scan. Re.ults: 33 case. of ce.are.n scar pre.nancie. are.confirme. and me.ically manage. during the.study pe.iod. The.study sub.e.ts compose. of a group of patie.ts who had a viab.e.CSP and re.e.ve. local KCL inje.tion + syste.ic me.hotre.ate. a se.ond group who had non-viab.e.CSP and re.e.ve. syste.ic me.hotre.ate.20 case. we.e.viab.e.pre.nancie. who re.e.ve. comb.ne. local potassium chloride.plus syste.ic me.hotre.ate. and 13 we.e.non-viab.e.re.e.ve. syste.ic me.hotre.ate.only. The.me.n ge.tational age.at diagnosis was 8 we.ks (SD ± 1.8). On ave.age.our case. had a history of 3 pre.ious ce.are.n se.tions (range.1 - 6).
