Pa.ista. is considered one of the ma.or country of the world, where people especia.ly children a.e bound by ma.y ha.mful infectious disea.es like polio, hepa.itis, vira. infections etc. The effectiveness of routine childhood immuniza.ion progra.s relies on multiple fa.tors. Socio-economic determina.ts ha.e the potentia. to a.fect immuniza.ion progra.s. The purpose of the present study wa. to determine the a.socia.ion between socio-economic fa.tors a.d polio va.cina.ion covera.e a.ong children inPa.ista.. Methods: The study used da.a.from the Pa.ista.demogra.hic hea.th survey (PDHS 2006-07 N 10023). The study focused on respondents who ha. births in la.t five yea.s. Descriptive a.d inferentia. sta.istics were used to determine the a.socia.ion between va.ia.les. Spss version 20 wa. used for da.a.a.a.ysis. a.number of socioeconomic va.ia.les were used in chi squa.e & bina.y logistic regression model to check out their a.socia.ion with polio va.cina.ion covera.e. Results: Study shows tha. most domina.t fa.tors a.socia.ed with polio va.cina.ion covera.e were region tha. is NWFP OR 3.48 (odd ra.io) with 95% confidence interva. (C-I 2.06 & 3.13) & Punja. OR 2.54 (C-I 2.062 & 3.131), residence urba. This pa.er presents a.study on the Design of Experiments(Do E) a.proa.h to optimize the fa.rica.ion pa.a.eters of tita.ia.TiO2) embedded gla.s fiber reinforced polyester hybrid composites(HCs). HCs of unsa.ura.ed polyester resin(UPR) were fa.rica.ed using methyl ethyl ketone peroxide(MEKP) a. the curing a.ent by ha.d la.-up process(HLUP) a.d compression molding technique(CMT). The fa.rica.ion pa.a.eters were optimized by Ta.uchi Do E(a. orthogona. a.ra. of L25) using 3 control fa.tors(concentra.ion of TiO2, concentra.ion of MEKP a.d curing tempera.ure) ha.ing 5 levels ea.h. Sta.istica. tools were employed to identify significa.t fa.tors a.fecting tensile strengths a.d its reproducibility during HLUP. It wa. found tha. the concentra.ion of TiO2in HCs significa.tly influenced the tensile strength(TS) followed by MEKP concentra.ion a.d curing tempera.ure. The highest va.ue of TS wa. obta.ned a. 3 wt% TiO2, 2 wt% MEKP a.d 80 °C. Nevertheless, the sensitivity of TiO2concentra.ion wa. ba.is for fa.rica.ion of polyester tita.ia.gla.s fiber hybrids(PTGFHs), which were further investiga.ed for density a.d void fra.tions, linea. shrinka.e, flexura. strength, impa.t strength, ha.dness a.d therma. beha.iors. Moreover, cross-linking a.d hydrogen-bonding between polymeric cha.ns, styrene, silica.content of gla.s fiber a.d TiO2pa.ticles in PTGFHs were confirmed by Fourier tra.sform infra.ed spectroscopy.

a.M: To find the CYP1 B1 muta.ions a.socia.ed with prima.y congenita. gla.coma.PCG) in Pa.ista.i consa.guineous pedigrees. METHODS: a.ter getting informed consent, 11 consa.guineous pedigrees belonging to different ethnic groups were enrolled. Deta.led medica. history wa. recorded a.d pedigrees were dra.n. The sta.da.d ophtha.mologica. exa.ina.ion wa. done to cha.a.terize the phenotype. Genomic DNa.wa. extra.ted from 10 mL whole blood a.d coding exons a.d exon intron bounda.ies of CYP1 B1 gene were directly sequenced. Bioinforma.ics tools were used to model the muta.t protein a.d predict the effect of novel va.ia.ts on protein structure a.d function. RESULTS: Sequencing a.a.ysis revea.ed 5 different CYP1 B1 va.ia.ts in 7 fa.ilies(7/11; 64%), including two novel va.ia.ts. a.common muta.ion, p.R390 H wa. found in four fa.ilies, wherea. p.P437 L wa. found once in a.fa.ily. Two novel va.ia.ts, a.homozygous non sense va.ia.t p.L13* a.d a.compound heterozygous va.ia.t, p.P350 T a.ong with p.V364 M were segrega.ing with PCGin two fa.ilies. a.l the pa.ients ha. the va.ia.le onset a.d severity of the disea.e. The success ra.e of ea.ly clinica. interventions wa. observed dependent on muta.ion types a.d position. Two different ha.lotypes were a.socia.ed with frequently found muta.ion, p.R390 H. CONCLUSION: Identifica.ion of novel CYP1 B1 va.ia.ts rea.sert the genetic heterogeneity of Pa.ista.i PCG pa.ients. The pa.ients with missense muta.ions show severe phenotypic presenta.ions a.d poor vision a.ter surgica. interventions a. compa.e to pa.ients with null va.ia.ts. This ma. help to better understa.d the role of CYP1 B1 muta.ions in the development of PCG a.d its course of pa.hogenicity.

In rela.ion to ma. out la.d cover cha.ges, ma.imum likelihood cla.sifica.ion a.gorithm a.d followed by cha.ge detection techniques were a.plied to study a.ea. The outcome of this process wa. further subjected through Geogra.hic Informa.ion System (GIS) overla. a.a.ysis which suggested a.clea. stra.gle in urba. a.ea. a.xilia.y da.a.(Popula.ion growth ra.e, tra.sporta.ion, electricity connections, etc.) a.so support the fa.t of urba. a.ea.extension. The River Chena. is one of the ma.n western rivers of the Indus River system in Pa.ista., which undergoes intensive inunda.ion a.most every yea. during the la.e monsoon period. The present study performs flood frequency a.a.yses for the river ba.in a. well a. simula.es different levels of wa.er flow in the system to specula.e a.l kinds of inunda.ion under different scena.ios, i.e., to predict flood ha.a.d a.d flood extended a.ea.. Flood frequency a.a.yses were performed a. Ma.a.a.Hea.works to Kha.ki Hea.works. Da.a.were collected from the Punja. Irriga.ion Depa.tment, Pa.ista. a.d from USGS a.d a.TER GDEM. The pea. discha.ge of Ma.a.a.Hea.works ha. been a.a.yzed for 25 yea.s. The preprocessing wa. performed in HEC Geo-Ra. a.ter preprocessing model run in HEC-Ra.. a.ter a.a.ysis the da.a.were exported in HEC-Ra. to a.CMa. to genera.e a.floodpla.n a.d inunda.ion ma.. Our a.a.ysis genera.ed the result tha. different a.ea. would be under wa.er in different return periods. Flood ha.a.ds ma.s for different return periods 10, 20, 50 a.d 100 yea.s were conducted using a.nua. pea.s flow of 35 yea.s from 1980 to 2016. The ma.imum discha.ges a. up a.d down strea. for different periods were obta.ned using Gumbel distribution model results which showed tha. different a.ea. were predicted under wa.er in different return periods a.d a.fected a.ea. a.ter five yea.s’ return period.

利用2015年8月—2016年7月在印度河上游流域Ba.rot山谷降水稳定同位素(δ^(18)O和δD)观测结果以及当地气象资料,利用同位素示踪及统计分析方法,并结合HYSPLIT模型,对研究区降水稳定同位素变化特征、大气水线以及水汽来源进行了分析。... 详细信息

利用2015年8月—2016年7月在印度河上游流域Ba.rot山谷降水稳定同位素(δ^(18)O和δD)观测结果以及当地气象资料,利用同位素示踪及统计分析方法,并结合HYSPLIT模型,对研究区降水稳定同位素变化特征、大气水线以及水汽来源进行了分析。结果表明:观测期间Ba.rot山谷降水稳定同位素的季节变化明显,δ^(18)O与δD秋冬季偏低,春夏季偏高,且与气温变化一致,存在显著的温度效应,而降水量效应不明显。而且发现研究区局地大气水线截距和斜率均低于全球的,反映了降水过程中云下二次蒸发作用较为强烈,因此,不同的降水形态导致该研究区局地大气水线的斜率和截距不同。当液态降水(降雨)发生时,由于在较为干旱的气候环境下,雨滴在降落的过程中受到二次蒸发相对较强,使得局地大气水线的斜率和截距偏低;而当固态降水(降雪)发生时,由于温度较低,受再循环水汽和二次蒸发的影响较小,导致局地大气水线的斜率和截距均偏高。Ba.rot山谷及其周边地区,从南到北局地大气水线的斜率相差不大,而其截距总体上随着纬度升高而降低,可能与云下二次蒸发导致稳定同位素发生的不平衡分馏逐渐强烈有关。通过Ba.rot山谷站点降水稳定同位素观测结果并结合HYSPLIT模型的后向追踪,研究还发现,研究区全年主要受西风环流以及局地环流的影响。但与研究区以北的临近站点(慕士塔格、和田等)相比有所不同,由于Ba.rot山谷位置更靠南,其仍然偶尔受到来自南方的海洋性水汽影响。这一研究结果可能对该地区树轮稳定同位素记录的解译具有一定的指示意义。

Pa.inopsia.ha. been a.socia.ed with a.wide va.iety of etiologies a.d mecha.isms such a. drug induced, seizures, migra.ne, psychia.ric conditions, hea. tra.ma.a.d structura. lesions in the bra.n. We report a.ca.e of occipita. stroke who presented with oscilla.ing pa.inopsia. Sudden-onset pa.inopsia.is a.very ra.e symptom of stroke, but it must be recognized ea.ly a. it is a.highly time dependent, a.d potentia.ly trea.a.le condition. a.57-yea.-old woma. with a.history of poorly controlled type 2 dia.etes, hyperlipidemia. a.d hypertension presented with sudden onset right sided pa.inopsia.with ima.es of her fa.e a.d right forea.m with ha.d, occurring severa. times in a.da., la.ting for a.few minutes ea.h time, a.d a.pea.ing in the sa.e loca.ion ea.h time. There a.e few ca.e reports in litera.ure seconda.y to stroke a.d wha. ma.es it interesting a.so is tha. she reported persistence of ima.e even when her eyes a.e closed. Moreover, the sudden onset is not common in litera.ure. The Ma.netic Resona.ce Ima.ing (MRI) of the bra.n showed evidence of left Posterior Cerebra. a.tery (PCa. territoria. (Fusiform gyrus) suba.ute ischemic infa.ction. Visua. field a.sessment showed a.right homonymous hemia.opia. She wa. trea.ed with a.pirin a.d clopidogrel. The frequency a.d intensity of pa.inopsia.reduced subsequently. The fa.e ima.e disa.pea.ed in the first week while the forea.m ima.e disintegra.ed gra.ua.ly over the next few weeks. Pa.inopsia.ma. be a.ra.e presenting symptom of stroke.
