To clarify the effects of the vertical angle of a conical punch on stretch flangeability, hole expansion forming tests were conducted. Test results showed that the hole expansion ratio becomes larger as the vertical angle *** also showed that the fracture strain at the fracture location on the hole edge was constant and independent of the vertical angle. This is because the hole expansion ratio was controlled not only by the fracture strain, which is independent of the vertical angle, but also by deformation uniformity along the hole edge. From the result of numerical analyses, it was determined that deformation uniformity depends on the gradient of circumferential stress along the radius direction. When the vertical angle is sharp, the circumferential stress showed a steep decline and the deformation localization was suppressed. Consequently, the hole edge deformed more uniformly and the hole expansion ratio became larger. It is concluded that in order to improve stretch flangeability of high strength steel, it is important to uniformly deform the hole edge by applying a conical punch with a sharp vertical angle.

A new combined desulfurization/denitration (DeSOx/DeNOx,) process was tested in this study. The process uses the so-called powder-particle fluidized bed (PPFB) as the major reactor in which a coarse DeNOx catalyst, several hundred micrometers in size, is fluidized by flue gas as the fluidization medium particles, while a continuously supplied fine DeSOx sorbent, several to tens of micrometers in diameter, is entrained with the flue gas. Ammonia for NOx reduction is fed to the bottom of the bed, thus, SOX and NOX are simultaneously removed in the single reactor. By adopting a model gas, SO2-NO-H2O-N2-air, to simulate actual flue gas in a laboratory-scale PPFB, simultaneous SO2 and NO removals were explored with respect to various gas components of flue gas. It was found that the variations of SO2 removal with concentrations (fractions) of oxygen, water vapor, SO2 and NO in flue gas are little affected by the simultaneous NOx reduction. However, the dependencies of NO removal upon such gas components are closely related to the inter-actions between DeSOx sorbent and DeNOx catalyst.

Degradation of Reactive Yellow 86 with photo-Fenton process driven by solar light

The decolorization of Reactive Yellow 86 （RY 86）, one of reactive azo dyes, was investigated in the presence of Fenton reagent under solar light irradiation. The decolorization rate was strongly influenced by pH, initial concentrations of H202 and Fe（II）, and so on. An initial concentration of 40 mg/L was decolored more than 90% after 20 min under optimum conditions. The activation energy of the solar photo-Fenton reaction was 1.50 kJ/mol for RY 86 in the temperature range of 10-60℃. In the kinetic study, the rate constant of RY 86 with OH- radicals could be estimated to be 1.7 × 10^10 L/（***）. The decolorization efficiency of RY 86 under solar light irradiation was comparable to the artificial light irradiation. The decrease of TOC as a result of mineralization of RY 86 was observed during photo-Fenton process. The rate of RY 86 mineralization was about 83% under UV irradiation after 24 hr. The formation of chloride, sulfate, nitrate and ammonium ions as end-products was observed during the photocatalytic process. The decomposition of RY 86 gave two kinds of intermediate products. The degradation mechanism of RY 86 was proposed on the base of the identified intermediates.

Comparison of the activities of binder-added and binder-free Mo/HZSM-5 catalysts in methane dehydroaromatization at 1073 K in periodic CH_4-H_2 switch operation mode

Three industry-supplied, well-shaped Mo/HZSM-5 catalysts, two binder-added and one binder-free, were tested for the first time in methane dehydroaromatization to benzene at 1073 K and 10000 mL/（g·h） in periodic CH4-H2 switch operation mode, and their catalytic performances were compared with those of three self-prepared, binder-free powder Mo/HZSM-5 catalysts. XRD, 27Al NMR, SEM, BET and NH3-TPD characterizations of all the catalysts show that the zeolites in the two binder-added catalysts are comparable to those in the three binder-free powder catalysts in crystallinity, crystal size, micropore volume and Br{／o}nsted acidity. The test results, on the other hand, show that the catalytic performances of the two binder-added catalysts are worse than those of the four binder-free catalysts on both catalyst mass and zeolite mass bases. Then, TPO and BET measurements of all spent samples were conducted to get a deep insight into the negative effects of binder addition, and the results suggest that the binder additives functioned mainly to enhance the polyaromatization of formed aromatics to coke on their external surfaces and consequently lower the catalysts＇ benzene formation activity and selectivity.

The growth of prostate cancer is sensitive to androgen, and hormonal therapy has been used for treatment of ad-vanced cancer. About 80% of prostate cancers initially respond to hormonal therapy, howerver, more than half of the re-sponders gradually become resistant to this therapy. Changes in tumors from an androgen-responsive to an androgen-unre-sponsive state have been widely discussed. Since androgen action is mediated by androgen receptor (AR), abnormalitiesof AR is believed to play an important role of the loss of androgen responsiveness in prostate cancer. Introduction The hallmark of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is the intrahepatocyte accumulation of lipids with or without necro-inflammatory changes and ballooning[i.e.,steatohepatitis or nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)],fibrosis,cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),which is observed in dysmetabolic individuals in the absence of competing causes of chronic liver disease such as excess alcohol consumption,viral infections,autoimmune or hereditary conditions and steatogenic medications(1).NAFLD represents an example of lipotoxicity caused by ectopic lipid *** relatively modest amounts of ectopic lipid accumulation in normally lean organs(e.g.,liver,pancreas,heart,kidney and muscle)can trigger functional disturbance in the affected organs and a subsequent vicious circle of adverse metabolic consequences in predisposed individuals(1);this will eventually result in those hepatic and extra-hepatic manifestations and co-morbid conditions which are frequently observed in NAFLD *** this perspective,NAFLD should be viewed as one of the systemic manifestations and consequences resulting from lipid overflow.

Natural killer(NK)/T cell lymphoma includes two major subtypes of disease,specifically extranodal NK/T cell lymphoma,nasal type(ENKL)and aggressive NK cell leukemia(ANKL).Both are strongly associated with Epstein Barr virus and are prevalent in East Asia and Latin *** for that of limited-stage ENKL,the prognosis of both diseases was poor in the previous *** advent of non-anthracycline-based chemoradiotherapy has contributed to an improvement in ENKL prognosis,but there is still room for further treatment ***,the high efficacy of PD-1 antibody was reported in relapsed or refractory ENKL *** was later supported by the finding that PD-L1/PD-L2 genetic alterations are frequently observed in ENKL and ANKL *** to the rarity of the disease,a standard treatment for ANKL remains to be ***,allogeneic stem cell transplantation is the only curative treatment,and this is even applicable to chemo-resistant ANKL *** this review,we focus on recent treatment approaches for NK/T cell lymphomas including novel agents.

Effects of Au nanoparticle addition to hole transfer layer in organic solar cells based on copper naphthalocyanine and fullerene

Organic solar cells based on copper naphthalocyanine(CuNc) and fullerene(C60) were fabricated, and their photovoltaic properties were investigated. C60 and CuNc were used as n-type and p-type semiconductors, respectively. In addition, the effect of Au nanoparticle addition on a hole transfer layer was investigated, and the power conversion efficiency of the devices was improved after blending the Au nanoparticles into the hole transport layer. Nanostructures of Au nanoparticles were investigated by transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. Energy levels of molecules were calculated by molecular orbital calculations, and the nanostructure and electronic properties were discussed.& 2014 Chinese Materials Research Society. Activation of Trifluoromethylthio Moiety by Appending Iodonium Ylide under Copper Catalysis for Electrophilic Trifluoromethylation Reaction

A novel iodonium-ylide compound 2 that appends a trifluoromethylthio （SCF3） group is disclosed as a new, shelf-stable electrophilic trifluoromethylation reagent. Unlike known shelf-stable electrophilic trifluoromethylation reagents, 2 has a stable SCF3 group which is activated by appending iodonium ylide under copper catalysis via sul- fonium ylide to generate a cationic trifluoromethyl （CF3） species. Reagent 2 was found to be an efficient electro- philic trifluoromethylation reagent for a wide range of silyl enol ethers 3 under copper catalysis. Cyclic and acyclic a-trifiuoromethyl ketones 4 were obtained by reagent 2 in moderate to good yields. On the other hand, a difluoro- methylthio analogue 5 did not affect intermolecular transfer difluoromethylation to substrates. Instead, intramolecu- lar 1,4-migration proceeded similar to the Stevens rearrangement to provide 6 in 21% yield, independent of the presence of nucleophiles 3.
