This work aims to characterize, synthesize and evaluate the biological activity of sodium barbitone and their metal chelates Ni(II), Pd(II) and Pt(II). The new synthesized metal chelates are investigated by elemental analysis, IR, mass spectra, thermal analysis and biological activity. Square planer structure of the prepared complexes obtained from the result of analysis. The antibacterial and antifungal of sodium barbitone ligand and its conforming metal chelates were screened against bacterial species Gram positive (Staphylococcus aureus), Gram negative bacteria (Escherichia coli) and fungi Aspergillus flavus and Candida albicans fungi. Ampicillin and amphotericin were used as references for antibacterial and antifungal studies. The activity data show that the platinum group metals chelates have activity data show that some of the platinum group metals (viz. Pt(II) and Pd(II)) chelates have a promising biological activity comparing to sodium barbitone parent free ligand against bacterial and fungal species.

This paper answers three essential questions for audio speech cryptosystems in time and discrete transform *** first question is,what are the best values of sub-keys that must be used to get the best quality and security for the audio cryptosystem in time and discrete transform *** second question is the relation between the number of sub-keys,the number of secret keys used,and the audio speech signal block’s ***,how many possible secret keys can be used to get the best quality and security results for the audio speech cryptosystem in time and discrete transform *** audio cryptosystem discussed before in recent research is applied to answer the three previous *** simulation results and analysis answer all three questions;first,there is no specific,well-defined format or rule for sub-key values that must be used to get a better *** the second question,yes,there is a direct relationship between the number of applicable keys,number of available sub-keys,and block size of speech audio signal and formulated into a first-order *** the third question,each discrete transform domain has a specific acceptable range of sub-keys that imply a particular number of keys that can be used to get a better cryptosystem.

We study the nonlocality dynamics for two models of atoms in cavity quantum electrodynamics （QED）; the first model contains atoms in a single cavity undergoing nearest-neighbor interactions with no initial correlation, and tile second contains atoms confined in n different and noninteracting cavities, all of which were initially prepared in a maximally correlated state of n qubits corresponding to the atomic degrees of freedom. The nonlocality evolution of the states in the second model shows that the corresponding maximal violation of a multipartite Bell inequality exhibits revivals at precise times, defining, nonlocality sudden deaths and nonlocality sudden rebirths, in analogy with entanglement. These quantum correlations are provided analytically for the second model to make the study more thorough. Differences in the first model regarding whether the array of atoms inside the cavity is arranged in a periodic or open fashion are crucial to the generation or redistribution of quantum correlations. This contribution paves the way to using the nonlocality multipartite correlation measure for describing the collective complex behavior displayed by slightly interacting cavity QED arrays.

The present study was conducted to evaluate the hypolipidemic effects of coffee silver skin(CSS)supplementation in rats fed a highfat diet(HFD).A total of 40 albino rats were used in the present *** groups were as follows:Rats fed a normal diet,N group;high fat diet,HFD group;high fat diet+10%CSS,HFD 10;HFD+15%CSS,HFD 15;HFD+20%CSS,HFD 20;the diets were followed for 8 *** samples were collected at the end of the *** the time of sacrifice,the weights of heart,liver,kidneys,epididymal fat and retroperitoneal fat of the experimental rats with respect to body weight were *** lipid parameter of the serum was recorded and liver and kidney function tests were ***,a histopathological assay was performed on the liver and kidney tissues of the rats fed the tested *** weight gain of the rats fed a HFD supplemented with 10,15 and 20%CSS was∼1.05,1.08 and 1.12 times lower than that of those rats fed HFD,*** incorporation of CSS at a level of 20%reduced the increase in liver,kidney,epididymal fat and retroperitoneal fat weight by 17.84,19.38,47.23 and 18.00%,respectively,compared with HFD *** administration induced considerable increases in alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase and alkaline phosphatase activities compared with the control *** results also indicated that the HFD-fed rats exhibited increased levels of urea,uric acid and creatinine,by∼26.38,8.40 and 6.75%,respectively,compared with the control *** the exception of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,all lipid fractions increased significantly in rats fed a *** administration of a HFD induced marked pathological changes in the liver and kidneys of the ***,the incorporation of various levels of CSS in to a HFD reduced these *** results of the present study illustrate that the incorporation of CSS into HFDs reduces the hyperlipidemia effect of these diets.

A New Quantum Gray-Scale Image Encoding Scheme

In this paper, a new quantum images encoding scheme is proposed. The proposed scheme mainly consists of four different encoding algorithms. The idea behind of the scheme is a binary key generated randomly for each pixel of the original image. Afterwards, the employed encoding algorithm is selected corresponding to the qubit pair of the generated randomized binary key. The security analysis of the proposed scheme proved its enhancement through both randomization of the generated binary image key and altering the gray-scale value of the image pixels using the qubits of randomized binary key. The simulation of the proposed scheme assures that the final encoded image could not be recognized visually. Moreover, the histogram diagram of encoded image is flatter than the originM one. The Shannon entropies of the final encoded images are significantly higher than the original one, which indicates that the attacker can not gain any information about the encoded images.

The most abundant phenolic biopolymer in the biosphere is the *** phenolic biopolymer commonly exists in combination with polysaccharides and other cell wall *** this study,the solvent system dioxane-water is used to extract lignin,which is considered as unaltered native *** dioxane lignin extracted from fig stems was characterized regarding to its structural feature,quantification of its functional groups,molecular weight,and evaluation of its thermal *** and molecular weight distribution of the studied lignin indicated that isolated lignin contained a low amount of sugar(c.a.19%)and had a high weight-average molecular weight(10068 ***-1).Lignin sample had approximately the same amounts of guaiacyl(G)and p-hydroxyphenyl(H)units with relatively fewer syringyl(S)*** isolated lignin revealed good antioxidant ***,it proved to have a high potential of application in new antioxidants formulations.

The feasibility of Plus Energy Building for a sample relevant case is *** a literature review aimed to identify key aspects of this type of buildings,a preliminary evaluation of the thermal performance of a building constructed using conventional material is presented together with a parametric analysis of the impact of typical influential *** domestic hot water(SDHW)and photovoltaic systems(PV)are considered in the *** simulations indicate that for the examined sample case(Beirut in Lebanon)the total annual energy need of conventional building is 87.1 kWh/y.m^(2).About 49%of energy savings can be achieved by improving the building envelope and installing energy efficient ***,about 90%of energy savings in domestic hot water production can be achieved by installing a SDHW system composed of two solar collectors connected in ***,the addition of a grid connected PV array system can significantly mitigate the energy needs of the building leading to an annual excess of energy.

The present study aims to clarify the protective effect of supplementation with some antioxidants,such as idebenone(200 mg/kg,ip),melatonin(10 mg/kg,ip) and arginine(200 mg/kg,ip) and their combination,on liver function(***,albumin,alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase and alkaline phosphatase),energetic parameters(adenosine triphosphate,adenosine diphosphate,adenosine monophosphate,inorganic phosphate,total adenylate,adenylate energy charge and potential phosphate).The effect on glycolytic and glycogenolytic enzymes(glucose,glycogen,glycogen phosphorylase,pyruvate kinase and phosphofructokinase against hypoxia) was also *** drugs were administered 24 and 1 h prior sodium nitrite *** biochemical parameters were estimated 1 h after sodium nitrite *** of sodium nitrite(75 mg/kg,sc) produced a significant disturbance in all biochemical parameters of liver function,energetic parameters and glycolytic and glycogenolytic *** damage was confirmed by histopathological examination of the liver as compared to *** marked changes in hepatic cells induced by sodium nitrite were completely abolished by pretreatment with the drug combination,suggesting potential protection against sodium nitrite-induced *** could be concluded that a combination of both idebenone and melatonin or idebenone and arginine provides potential protection against sodium nitrite-induced hypoxia by improving biochemical parameters and preserving liver histology.

The offshore part of the Nile Delta is considered one of the most prolific provinces for gas production andfor future petroleum exploration. Amplitude Variation with Offset (AVO) analysis supported by composite logs considered as one of the best-advanced techniques enables the interpreter to understand theseismic data. It is used to generate a new view of the output results, especially for the identification of gaszones as gas channels by using pre-stack AVO attributes that based on the intercept product gradient(A*B) and the Scaled Poisson’s Ratio Change. Free gas, regardless of the percentage show obvious AVOanomaly. Well log data, including gamma-ray, resistivity, and Vp sonic logs are used in the seismic data towell tie and in the generation of the synthetic seismogram. Seismic data conditioning processes withcheck-shot correction is performed to improve the resolution of the reflection events and signal to noiseratio. AVO attributes technique, as a direct hydrocarbon indicator, including AVO gradient analysis andAVO crossplot separate the gas levels in the sand-shale sequences. The identified gas-bearing zonesconsistent with well log data responses. As the main conclusion, we show the visual evidence for the gasbearing zones by interpreting different AVO responses due to the changes in fluid and rock types.

Quantum watermarking is a technique to embed specific information, usually the owner's identification,into quantum cover data such for copyright protection purposes. In this paper, a new scheme for quantum watermarking based on quantum wavelet transforms is proposed which includes scrambling, embedding and extracting procedures. The invisibility and robustness performances of the proposed watermarking method is confirmed by simulation *** invisibility of the scheme is examined by the peak-signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR) and the histogram *** the robustness of the scheme is analyzed by the Bit Error Rate(BER) and the Correlation Two-Dimensional(Corr 2-D) calculation. The simulation results indicate that the proposed watermarking scheme indicate not only acceptable visual quality but also a good resistance against different types of attack.
