Petrogenesis of the diamondiferous Pipe-8 ultramafic intrusion from the Wajrakarur kimberlite field of Southern India and its relation to the worldwide Mesoproterozoic(~1.1 Ga) magmatism of kimberlite and related rocks

Detailed mineralogy,bulk rock major,trace and Sr-Nd isotope compositions,and ^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar dating of the Pipe-8 diamondiferous ultramafic intrusion in the Wajrakarur cluster of southern India,is *** on the presence of Ti-rich phlogopite,high Na/k content in amphibole,Al-and Ti-rich diopside,a titanomagnetite trend in spinel and the presence of Ti-rich schorlomite garnet and carbonates in the groundmass,the Pipe-8 intrusion is here more precisely classified as an ultramafic lamprophyre(i.e.,aillikite).An aillikite affinity of the Pipe-8 intrusion is further supported by the bulk rock major and trace element and Sr-Nd isotope ***-Nd isotope data are consistent with a common,moderately depleted upper mantle source region for both the Pipe-8 aillikite as well as the Wajrakarur kimberlites of southern India.A phlogopite-rich groundmass ^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar plateau age of 1115.8±7.9 Ma(2σ) for the Pipe-8 intrusion falls within a restricted 100 Ma time bracket as defined by the 1053-1155 Ma emplacement ages of kimberlites and related rocks in *** presence of ultramafic lamprophyres,carbonatites,kimberlites,and olivine lamproites in the Wajrakarur kimberlite field requires low degrees of partial melting of contrasting metasomatic assemblages in a heterogeneous sub-continental lithospheric *** widespread association of kimberlite and other mantle-derived magmatism during the Mesoproterozoic(ca.1.1 Ga) have been interpreted as being part of a single large igneous province comprising of the kalahari,Australian,West Laurentian and Indian blocks of the Rodinia supercontinent that were in existence during its *** India only kimberlite/lamproite/ultramafic lamprophyre magmatism occurred at this time without the associated large igneous provinces as seen in other parts of *** may be because of the separated paleo-latitudinal position of India from Australia during the assembly of *** is speculated that the presence of a large

Petrology,genesis and geodynamic implication of the Mesoproterozoic-Late Cretaceous Timmasamudram kimberlite cluster,Wajrakarur field,Eastern Dharwar Craton,southern India

New mineralogical and bulk-rock geochemical data for the recently recognised Mesoproterozoic （ca. 1100 Ma） and late Cretaceous （ca. 90 Ma） kimberlites in the Timmasamudram cluster （TkC） of the Wajrakarur kimberlite field （WkF）, Eastern Dbarwar Craton, southern India, are presented. On the basis of groundmass mineral chemistry （phlogopite, spinel, perovskite and clinopyroxene）, bulk-rock chem- istry （SiO2, k20, low TiO2, Ba/Nb and La/Sm）, and perovskite Nd isotopic compositions, the TI（-1 （mac- rocrystic variety） and TI（-4 （Macrocrystic variety） kimberlites in this cluster are here classified as orangeites （i.e. Group II kimberlites）, with geochemical characteristics that are very similar to orangeites previously described from the Bastar Craton in central India, as well as the kaapvaal Craton in South Africa. The remaining kimberlites （e.g., Tk-2, Tk-3 and the Tk-1 microcrystic variant）, are more similar to other 1100 Ma, Group l-type kimberlites of the Eastern Dharwar Craton, as well as the typical Group I kimberlites of the kaapvaal Craton. Through the application of geochemical modelling, based on pub- lished carbonated peridotite/melt trace element partition coefficients, we show that the generation of the TI（C kimberlites and the orangeites results from low degrees of partial melting of a metasomatised, carbonated peridotite. Depleted mantle （TDM） Nd perovskite model ages of the 1100 Ma Timmasamudram kimberlites show that the metasomatic enrichment of their source regions are broadly similar to that of the Meso- proterozoic kimberlites of the EDC. The younger, late Cretaceous （ca. 90 Ma） TI（-1 （macrocrystic variant） and Tk-4 kimberlites, as well as the orangeites from the 8astar Craton, share similar Nd model ages of 1100 Ma, consistent with a similarity in the timing of source enrichment during the amalgamation of Rodinia supercontinent. A broadband helical loaded square cavity back antenna array

In this paper, a fundamental advancement of the basic helix design which expands to array having good bandwidth is proposed. The helix is inserted in a cavity. The result is a new antenna design that offers the performance characteristics and advantages of the conven-tional helix but in a much more compact physical size envelope. A 4-element rectangular helical array has been designed. For miniaturization and impedance matching, the helical wire is replaced by a rectangular cross sectioned strip. It has been observed that when the helix is inserted in a cavity, it behaves differently from a normal helical antenna. The effects of the cavity on the number of turns, the impedance of total antenna, and the reflection coefficient have been analyzed. The array is designed for 2.4 GHz. The return loss obtained is less than - 10 dB and the bandwidth is more than 1.3 GHz for the array.

Water distribution network(WDN)leakage management has received increased attention in recent *** of the most successful leakage-control strategies is to divide the network into District Metered Areas(DMAs).As a multi-staged technique,the generation of DMAs is a difficult task in design and implementation(i.e.,clustering,sectorization,and performance evaluation).Previous studies on DMAs implementation did not consider the potential use of existing valves in achieving the *** this work,a methodology is proposed for detecting clusters and reducing the cost of additional valves and DMA sectorization by considering existing valves as much as *** procedure of DMAs identification has been divided into three stages,i.e.,a)clusters identification;b)sectorization or boundaries optimization and c)performance evaluation of the partitioned *** proposed methodology is evaluated on a simple network and a real-world water network with the findings provided and compared to the DMAs,established for a raw water network with no existing *** is found that there is an adequate difference in cost of strategy implementation in both the cases for the network under consideration and the existing valve system achieved better network performance in terms of resilience index.

Comparative untargeted proteomic analysis of ADME proteins and tumor antigens for tumor cell lines

In the present study, total membrane proteins from tumor cell lines including HepG2, Hep3 B2,H226, Ovcar3 and N87 were extracted and digested with γLys C and trypsin. The resulting peptide lysate were pre-fractionated and subjected to untargeted quantitative proteomics analysis using a high resolution mass spectrometer. The mass spectra were processed by the Max Quant and the protein abundances were estimated using total peak area(TPA) method. A total of 6037 proteins were identified, and the analysis resulted in the identification of 2647 membrane proteins. Of those, tumor antigens and absorption,metabolism, disposition and elimination(ADME) proteins including UDP-glucuronosyltransferase,cytochrome P450, solute carriers and ATP-binding cassette transporters were detected and disclosed significant variations among the cell lines. The principal component analysis was performed for the cluster of cell lines. The results demonstrated that H226 is closely related with N87, while Hep3 B2 aligned with HepG2. The protein cluster of Ovcar3 was apart from that of other cell lines investigated. By providing for the first time quantitative untargeted proteomics analysis, the results delineated the expression profiles of membrane proteins. These findings provided a useful resource for selecting targets of choice for anticancer therapy through advancing data obtained from preclinical tumor cell line models to clinical outcomes.

The environmental psychology ofa workspace is a rich and diverse field of study that is growing fast and gaining popularity. The indoor environmental factors in workspaces should follow functional as well as behavioral requirements as the spaces are designed as per the user＇s requirements, needs and aspirations. These play a major role in achieving behavioral impact on the user, as sense of well-being in the environment and physical comfort in the space enhances the productivity and efficiency of the user of the space. The slow and gradual importance of this issue in workspace design with Indian context, post occupancy evaluation can be adjudged as a permanent tool for improving indoor environment in buildings. Occupants should be used as a benchmark of evaluation, showing correlation of physical measurements and subjective parameters. It also suggests recommendations to improve quality of indoor environment in office buildings with analytical study, an important step in post occupancy evaluation. The objective of the paper is to inquire how people experience environmental psychology of the workspace as the determinants are efficiency, productivity and comfort. The success of any design depends upon the degree to which it creates an interface between the user and the environment.
