Background Pink bollworm,Pectinophora gossypiella(Saunders)(Lepidoptera:Gelechiidae)has become a poten-tial pest of cotton by causing substantial yield losses around the world including *** in view the facts like limited research investigations,unavailability,and high cost of artificial diet’s constituents and their premixes,the present research investigations on the dietary aspect of *** were *** larvae of *** were reared on different diets that were prepared using indigenous *** standard/laboratory diet com-prised of wheat germ meal 34.5 g,casein 30.0 g,agar–agar 20.0 g,sucrose 10.0 g,brewer’s yeast 5.0 g,α-cellulose 1.0 g,potassium-sorbate1.5 g,niplagin 0.5 g,decavitamin 0.01 g,choline-chloride 0.06 g,maize-oil 3.30 g,honey 2.0 g,and water 730.0 *** to cotton bolls and wheat germ meal were okra seed sprouts,okra fruit,cottonseed meal,and okra seed meals,which were included in the study to introduce an efficient and economic mass-rearing *** The larval development completed in 19.68d±0.05 d with a weight of 20.18mg±0.20 mg at the fourth instar fed on the cottonseed meal-based diet instead of wheat germ meal based *** the same diet,84.00%±4.00%,17.24 mg±0.03 mg,and 7.76d±0.06 d were recorded as pupae formation,pupal weight,and pupal duration,*** emergence,76.00%±1.00%was recorded from pupae collected from larvae raised on cottonseed meal-based *** male and female moths lived for 40.25d±0.10 d,and 44.34d±0.11 d,*** deposited 21.28±0.04 eggs per day with the viability of 65.78%±0.14%.The larval mortal-ity at the fourth instar was 37.20%±1.36%and malformed pupation of 12.00%±1.41%was *** of wheat germ meal with that of local meals(cottonseed and okra seed)in the standard laboratory diet has saved 463.80 to 467.10 PKR with 1.62 to 1.63 cost economic returns,*** This research is of novel nature as it provides a concis

Highly selective adsorption of rhenium by amyloid-like protein material

Rhenium separation from molybdenum in molybdenite minerals and waste leachate has become an emerging *** this challenge,we prepared a set of protein-based alkylamine/alkylammonium salts complexes as extractants for selective uptake of rhenium from molybdenum,where the protein component turned into the insoluble amyloid-like structure when its internal disulfide bonds were reduced,namely phase-transition *** them,the phase-transited lysozyme and methyletrioctyleammonium chloride complex(PTL-N263)exhibited the most efficient adsorption at the alkaline condition for the electrostatic interaction between negatively charged metal ions with positively charged center(R_(4)N^(+))in N263,where negatively charged protein residues hindered the ion exchange of Cl^(-)in N263 for larger size Mo species(Mo_(7)O_(24)^(6-))than smaller size Re species(ReO^(4-)).The adsorption follows the Freundlich model and pseudo-second-order kinetics,which exhibits toplevel adsorption performance with a maximum adsorption capacity of 124 mg/g and a separation factor(β_(Re/Mo))of 2.78×10^(3)for *** adsorption capacity per unit area(57.2 mg/(g m^(2)))is 1.6–41 times higher than previously reported adsorbents,and the cost for adsorbing 1 g of Re(VII)is$1.07,indicating its industrial *** adsorption strategy can be applied to separating Re from Mo in binary solutions and industrial wastewater with other competing ions.

The subcellular localization of human proteins is vital for understanding the structure of human *** play a significant role within human cells,as many different groups of proteins are located in a specific location to perform a particular *** these functions will help in discoveringmany diseases and developing their *** importance of imaging analysis techniques,specifically in proteomics research,is becoming more *** recent advances in deep learning techniques for analyzing microscopy images,classification models have faced critical challenges in achieving high *** protein subcellular images have a significant class *** use oversampling and under sampling techniques in this research to overcome this *** have used a Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)model called GapNet-PL for the multi-label classification task on the Human Protein Atlas Classification(HPA)*** have found that the ParametricRectified LinearUnit(PreLU)activation function is better than the Scaled Exponential LinearUnit(SeLU)activation function in the GapNet-PL model in most classification *** results showed that the GapNet-PL model with the PReLU activation function achieved an area under the ROC curve(AUC)equal to 0.896,an F1 score of 0.541,and a recall of 0.473.

Single-atom Co-N_(4)catalytic sites anchored on N-doped ordered mesoporous carbon for excellent Zn-air batteries

Developing efficient transition metal-nitrogen-carbon(TM-N-C)catalysts with abundant accessible active sites has been in the limelight in recent years due to their exceptional application potential in Zn-air bat-teries(ZABs).Herein,we report the simple and environmentally-friendly fabrication of a single-atom Co electrocatalyst,Co-SA/N-C_(900),via in-suit pyrolysis of the co-precursor containing sucrose,dicyandiamide,and Co *** Co single atoms coordinated with adjacent N atoms are anchored on the doped ordered mesoporous carbon,generating the atomic Co-N_(4)***-SA/N-C_(900)displays high oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)activity with an onset potential of 0.96 V and a half-wave potential of 0.87 ***,the liquid ZAB with Co-SA/N-C_(900)catalyst exhibits exceptional discharge specific capacity of 706.38 mAh g^(-1),peak power density of 191.11 mW cm^(-2),and excellent stability at high current densities up to 100 mA cm^(-2),surpassing commercial Pt/*** to the density functional theory(DFT)study,the Co-N_(4)moi-ety with graphitic N dopants can decrease the rate-determining step(RDS)energy barrier and thus accel-erate the ORR *** study offers experimental and theoretical guidelines for the rational design of TM-N-C catalysts for practical implementation with notable ORR activity for application in ZABs.

Vector control schemes have recently been used to drive linear induction motors(LIM)in high-performance *** trend promotes the development of precise and efficient control schemes for individual *** research aims to present a novel framework for speed and thrust force control of LIM using space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM)*** framework under consideration is developed in four *** begin,MATLAB Simulink was used to develop a detailed mathematical and electromechanical *** research presents a modified SVPWM inverter control *** tuning the proportional-integral(PI)controller with a transfer function,optimized values for the PI controller are *** the subsystems mentioned above are integrated to create a robust simulation of the LIM’s precise speed and thrust force control *** reference speed values were chosen to evaluate the performance of the respective system,and the developed system’s response was verified using various data *** the low-speed range,a reference value of 10m/s is used,while a reference value of 100 m/s is used for the high-speed *** speed output response indicates that themotor reached reference speed in amatter of seconds,as the delay time is between 8 and 10 *** maximum amplitude of thrust achieved is less than 400N,demonstrating the controller’s capability to control a high-speed LIM with minimal thrust *** to the controlled speed range,the developed system is highly recommended for low-speed and high-speed and heavy-duty traction applications.

To pursue the ideal of a safe high-tech society in a time when traffic accidents are frequent,the traffic signs detection system has become one of the necessary topics in recent years and in the *** ultimate goal of this research is to identify and classify the types of traffic signs in a panoramic *** accomplish this goal,the paper proposes a new model for traffic sign detection based on the Convolutional Neural Network for com-prehensive traffic sign classification and Mask Region-based Convolutional Neural Networks(R-CNN)implementation for identifying and extracting signs in panoramic *** augmentation and normalization of the images are also applied to assist in classifying better even if old traffic signs are degraded,and considerably minimize the rates of discovering the extra *** proposed model is tested on both the testing dataset and the actual images and gets 94.5%of the correct signs recognition rate,the classification rate of those signs discovered was 99.41%and the rate of false signs was only around 0.11.
