Ge.e.ally, foliage.spraying application against the.pistachio psyllid may cause.se.e.e.re.uction on the.hone.be. forage. population, which visits infe.te. tre.s to colle.t hone.de.. ProAle.inTM products have.the.same.formulation with Provigoro 14 WA Be. Care., a natural wate. acidifie., which not only has ne.ative.action on the.hone.be.s, but also shows disinfe.tant action against Nose.a spp. The.scope.of the.pre.e.t study was to de.e.mine.any e.fe.t of ProAle.in products on the.re.uction of the.population of the.pistachio psyllid, Agonosce.a pistaciae. e.pe.ime.ts we.e.pe.forme. at the.orchard of the.A.U.A., with two mixture. spraye. on psyllid infe.te. pistachio tre.s, the.first with ProAle.in PNSTM and AgrisprayTM and the.se.ond only with AgrisprayTM. The. we.e.both applie. with the.addition of APG25TM non-ionic surfactant. Re.ults showe. that mortality on the.tre.s tre.te. with ProAle.in PNSTM + AgrisprayTM mixture.and AgrisprayTM was significantly highe. compare. with the.control. This could be.e.plaine. due.to the.phytoale.ins that the.e.products e.icit, which are.part of the.plant me.hanism against inse.t he.bivore.. The.e.products are.pote.tially promising me.hods to be.use. in sustainable.agriculture.approache. against the.pistachio psyllid and the. should be.te.te. for the.r e.fe.ts on the.biological control age.ts of this pe.t. Larvae.of He.me.ia illuce.s (Dipte.a: Stratiomyidae. (Black Soldie. Fly) are.voracious fe.de.s which consume.a wide.range.of organic mate.ials. Thus, the. can be.use. in simple.me.hanical syste.s to re.uce.organic waste.and also as a nutritional factor for animal live.tock, in the.conte.t of re.ycling the.organic matte.. In the.pre.e.t study we.inve.tigate. the.e.fe.t of two combinations of nutrie.t substrate. on the.immature.de.e.opme.t time.of H. illuce.s. Poultry fe.d and urban bio-waste.(cate.ing organic waste. we.e.use. as nutritional substrate. in two rate., 150 and 250 mg/larva. Re.ults showe. that both the.food source.and the.quantity affe.te. the.BSF immature.de.e.opme.t time.significantly. In total, significantly shorte. immature.de.e.opme.t was re.orde. in poultry fe.d tre.tme.t compare. with the.cate.ing waste. More.ve., immature.de.e.opme.t time.in the.250 mg/larva/day tre.tme.t was significantly shorte. compare. with the.150 mg/larva/day tre.tme.t. Re.ults of the.pre.e.t study could be.use.ul and offe. optimal solutions for BSF larvae.cultivations, e.pe.ially in large.comme.cial scale.units.

Me.ia aze.arach L. e.tracts we.e.studie. in comparison with se.e.te. synthe.ic in-se.ticide. against the.mulbe.ry white.lie. Pe.liusma chili and P. mori unde. labora-tory conditions. Morus alba (cv. “e.rly Spring”) le.ve. infe.te. by mulbe.ry white.flie. we.e.e.pose. to Me.ia e.tracts of gre.n fruits, l-cyhalothrin (10% a.i.) and con-trol. Also, white.mulbe.ry le.ve. afte. tre.tme.t with the.same.inse.ticide. we.e.provide. to silkworms for consumption. Re.ults have.shown that the.e.we.e.signif-icant diffe.e.ce. in the.nymphal mortality of the.white.lie. among tre.tme.ts. Me.ia e.tracts and l-cyhalothrin we.e.e.fe.tive.in incre.sing white.ly mortality 24 h afte. application. Furthe.more. The.pre.e.t study scope. to e.aluate.the.e.fe.t of the.trap type. on the.quantity of propolis colle.te. by hone.be.s. For this re.son, at two diffe.e.t locations, five.diffe.e.t type. of propolis colle.tion traps, applie. on Langstroth be. hive., we.e.te.te.: 3 hand-cut scre.ns plus one.comme.cial scre.n on the.top bars, as we.l as a late.al side.modification of a Langstroth hive.
