The stable gastric pentadecapeptide BPC 157 counteracts various venous occlusion-induced *** are all these arguments,in the Robert’s cytoprotection concept terms,to substantiate the resolution of different major vessel occlusion disturbances,in particular ischemia-reperfusion injury following the Pringle maneuver and Budd-Chiari syndrome,which was obtained by BPC 157 ***,there is new point(bypassed occluded or ruptured vessel,the equation endothelium maintenance→epithelium maintenance=blood vessel recruitment and activation towards defect or bypassing vessel occlusion),the recruitment of collateral blood vessels to compensate for vessel occlusion and reestablish blood *** this paper,we summarize the evidence of the native cytoprotective gastric pentadecapeptide BPC 157,which is stable in the human gastric juice,is a membrane stabilizer and counteracts gut-leaky *** a particular target,it is distinctive from the standard peptide growth factors,with particular molecular pathways involved,controlling VEGF and NO *** the early 1990s,BPC 157 appeared as a late outbreak of the Robert’s and Szabo’s cytoprotection-organoprotection concept,epithelium,endothelium protection as previous theoretical/practical breakthrough in the 1980s,and brain-gut axis and gut-brain *** the time went on,with its reported effects,it is likely most useful theory practical implementation and ***,several reviews suggest that BPC 157,which does not have a lethal dose(LD1),has profound cytoprotective activity,used to be demonstrated in ulcerative colitis and invented to multiple sclerosis ***,it may bring the theory to practical application,starting with the initial argument,no degradation in human gastric juice for more than 24 h,and thereby,the therapeutic effectiveness(including therapeutic per-oral regimen)and pleiotropic beneficial effects.

Dear Editor, Phosphorus (P) deficiency is the most limiting factor in tropical agriculture since most soils in this region are predominantly acids with high-energy P-binding compounds. Therefore, up to 90% of the P applied becomes fixed in soils, which raises environmental concerns and production costs (Syers et al., 2008). Thus, developing strategies to imptove P use efficiency (PUE) is essential to mitigate environmental problems and improve profits. These strategies should consider the soil-root-rhizosphere system because it is the most biochemical active site where nutrient uptake occurs (Hinsinger, 2011).

The elderly population consists of those over age 75 years and appears to represent the fastest-growing segment of the population. Intravenous thrombolytic therapy (TT) is the most common strategy for the treatment of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in many parts of the world. However, TT carries a higher risk of intra-cranial hemorrhage (ICH) in the elderly patients. Primary percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty and stenting (PCI) represents an important alternative in these elderly individuals with contraindications to TT. In developing countries, or in areas without availability of primary PCI, TT remains the only therapeutic modality. Dedicated randomized trials are needed to provide a comprehensive understanding of AMI management in the elderly group.(j Geriatr Cardiol 2007;4:250-253.)

Rare earth(Ⅲ)diphenyl-4-amine sulfonates(RE(DAS)3·xH2O,RE=Eu^3+,Tb^3+)phosphors were synthesized by precursor method from barium diphenyl-4-amine sulfonate and rare earth ***,TG/DSC coupled to mass spectrometry(TG/DSC/MS),X-ray powder diffraction(XPD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and photo luminesce nce(PL)spectroscopy were utilized to structurally and morphologically characterize the *** decomposition of Eu(DAS)3·7H2O and Tb(DAS)3·2H2O at 973 K under dynamic air atmosphere results in crystalline Eu2O2SO4 and Tb2O2SO4 materials,***,MS spectra reveal the liberation of thermal decomposition products of precursors,largely as CO2,NO2 and SO2 *** diphenyl-4-amine sulfonate(DAS)ligand demonstrats a good stabilizing property for Eu^3+and Tb^3+*** Eu(DAS)3·7H2O and Tb(DAS)3·2H2O compounds display efficient red and green emissions,under UV excitation,arising from the 5D0→7Fj(j=0-4)and 5D4→7Fj(j=0-6)transitions of the Eu^3+and Tb^3+ions,respectively.
