Evaluation of the determinants of food security within the COVID-19 pandemic circumstances-a particular case of Shaanxi,China

Background:Agricultural food production and distribution industries may play a vital role in determining the current conditions of any country’s food security and sustainable development *** paper examined the determinants of food security within three distinct aspects(effective utilization of food,food availability,and food access)within the COVID-19 epidemic ***:The qualitative set-up of the study comprised with the identification of drivers by critical analysis of published papers and discussion held with some *** quantitative data used in this research were collected from a survey covering the agricultural food supply industry in China(Shaanxi Province).The survey was conducted from November to December 2020 and we mainly focus on three aspects of food security(effective utilization of food,food availability,and food access).The core analytical assumptions were made by employing exploratory factor analysis(EFA),confirmatory factor analysis(CFA),and structural equation modeling(SEM).Results:After analyzing the data collected from 257 agricultural food productions and distribution personnel along with the hypothesis testing,it found that the determinants of the effective utilization of food were positively related to the determinants of food access(β=0.291,p=0.029)and food availability(β=0.298,p=0.011),and the determinants of food availability were positively related to the food access determinants(β=0.128,p=0.002).The association and variance values between food availability and food access were 0.659 and 0.407;the association and variance values between for effective utilization of food and food availability aspects were 0.465 and 0.298,and between effective utilization of food and economy were 0.508 and ***:The study critically evaluated the interconnection among the crucial determinants within the banner of three dimensions,which will act as a major contribution to existing *** research will help the

本文旨在对巴基斯坦、印度和孟加拉国等南亚三国关于国际直接投资国有化保护的法律制度进行比较研究,本文研究目标是评价该三国向外国投资者及其投资提供适当保护方面的国际法遵守情况,并确定和甄别影响外国投资者对该三国投资环境评价的主要因素。确定主要研究问题后,结合南亚三国近些年来外国直接投资流入不断减少的背景,从法律角度对外国直接投资流入不利因素和有利因素进行分析。为达致主要研究目标,本文采用了定性研究方法,并试图解决南亚三国关于征收外国投资者资产中突出的关键问题。通过系统梳理该三国有关涉及国际直接投资征收问题的国内法、国际法和官方平台收集的数据,并对其正确的做法进行评估,同时指出该三国在实施国有化程序中存在的问题。本文研究的数据包括南亚三国有关外国投资者及其投资保护的所有国内法及其征收的国家实践,以及这些国家对外签署的国际公约和条约、联合国贸易和发展会议规定的不同类型的外国投资者待遇标准和该三个国家的司法制度和政府效能。本文通过对该三国有关外国投资者及其投资待遇制度及其对该三国的国内法和国家实践是否符合有关国际法的研究与评估,认为该三国的国内法符合国际法的规定,但其司法强度存在差异。本文研究表明,在过去十年里,印度的外商投资流入率和居民消费价格指数得分都是最高的,这证明了其政府效率是为投资者提供更高保护、免于国有化的主要因素。与印度不同的是,巴基斯坦和孟加拉国尽管对外签订了为数不少的双边投资协定,然而这些协定的实施没有像印度制定的国内法一样有效。

首先对Mukundan和Ramakrishnan提出的Zernike矩快速算法进行了修正,给出了更为完整、准确的坐标变换公式。然后给出了由伪极坐标系向笛卡尔坐标系转换的方法。最后,将每一幅图像在相同阶数和重复度下的4个方向Zernike矩模值的均方差与均值的比作为评价指标,对修正前和修正后的算法以及图像预处理对Zernike矩快速算法的影响进行了综合验证。针对5幅图片,两种算法分别有5×11个评价值,实验结果表明:改进后的算法有44个评价值好于原始算法,同时也通过实验验证了多种预处理对Zernike矩的影响。

Microsporidiosis in Iran:A systematic review and meta-analysis

Objective:To examine all evidences about Microspondia infection in vertebrate/invertebrate hosts and Iranian populations distributed in different regions of the ***:All published articles up to December 2015,including descriptive and cross-sectional studies related to the prevalence and genotyping of Microspondia infection in Iran,was considered in this systematic *** meta-analysis was done using the random-effects model and Stats Direct statistical *** 5.05 software and maximum likelihood algorithm with Kimura 2-parameter model were used for phylogenetic ***:Of the 1 152 investigated studies,33 eligible studies reported a prevalence of Microspondia infection in vertebrate and invertebrate *** to this systematic review,the overall prevalence rate of Microsporidia infection in immunocompromised patients in Iran was 8.18%.Furthermore,the overall prevalence rate of Microsporidia infection in immunocompromised patients with chronic diarrhoea,patients with non-diarrhoea,gastroenteritis,and patients with CD4(< 200 cells/μL) was 15.4%,4.1%,0.5%,and 12.9%*** highest prevalence rate of human and animal Microsporidia was estimated in Kerman(29%) and Khuzestan(26.5%).The overall prevalence rate of Microsporidia infection in honeybees using the random-effects model was 40%.Furthermore,the highest prevalence rate of nosemosis was described in East Azerbaijan(48.2%).The maximum number of Microsporidia isolates from immunocompromised patients and pigeons in Iran belonged to genotypes D(n=16;50%) and E(n=6;20.6%) of Enterocytozoon ***:This study may be the first systematic review and meta-analysis that provides a broad outlook on the prevalence of microsporidiosis in *** is necessary to investigate Microsporidia infection in vertebrate and invertebrate hosts and environmental resources in Iran.

Open Source Synthesis and Verification Tool for Fixed-to-Floating and Floating-to-Fixed Points Conversions

An open source high level synthesis fixed-to-floating and floating-to-fixed conversion tool is presented for embedded design, communication systems, and signal processing applications. Many systems use a fixed point number system. Fixed point numbers often need to be converted to floating point numbers for higher accuracy, dynamic range, fixed-length transmission limitations or end user requirements. A similar conversion system is needed to convert floating point numbers to fixed point numbers due to the advantages that fixed point numbers offer when compared with floating point number systems, such as compact hardware, reduced verification time and design effort. The latest embedded and SoC designs use both number systems together to improve accuracy or reduce required hardware in the same design. The proposed open source design and verification tool converts fixed point numbers to floating point numbers, and floating point numbers to fixed point numbers using the IEEE-754 floating point number standard. This open source design tool generates HDL code and its test bench that can be implemented in FPGA and VLSI systems. The design can be compiled and simulated using open source Iverilog/GTKWave and verified using Octave. A high level synthesis tool and GUI are designed using C#. The proposed design tool can increase productivity by reducing the design and verification time, as well as reduce the development cost due to the open source nature of the design tool. The proposed design tool can be used as a standalone block generator or implemented into current designs to improve range, accuracy, and reduce the development cost. The generated design has been implemented on Xilinx FPGAs.

This paper studies the clan temples in four periods,namely,the development period(early Ming Dynasty and before),the shaping period(mid-Ming Dynasty to early Qing Dynasty),the maturity period(mid-Qing Dynasty),and the programmed period(late Qing Dynasty),analyzes and summarizes their prototypical planform features and attempts to summarize and construct a genealogy of the architectural characteristics of the plane shape of clan *** the Ming and Qing dynasties,Guangfu ancestral halls in general showed a journey of development from a centripetal-single-linear-multi-linear-grid pattern,forming the unique Guangsanlu classic pattern in the Guangfu area.

目的本研究旨在确定基于自我调节常识模型(Common-Sense Model of Self-regulation)的健康教育对高血压患者的血压和自我管理的影响。方法本研究为随机对照临床试验,于2021年4月至2022年3月选取72例转诊到伊朗哈马丹省法尔希奇扬医院门诊的高血压患者为研究对象,随机分为干预组(n=36)和对照组(n=36)。干预组患者接受基于自我调节常识模型的培训项目,为期1个月,共5次,每次30~45 min,每3 d进行1次电话随访。对照组接受常规健康教育。在干预前、干预后3个月,护士测量患者血压,采用自我管理问卷对患者进行调查,比较两组的干预效果。结果共有68例患者完成研究。在干预前,两组患者的自我管理得分及其维度得分、收缩压、舒张压和平均动脉压差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。干预后3个月,与对照组相比,干预组患者的收缩压[(116.21±14.52)mmHg比(128.62±16.88)mmHg,1 mmHg=0.133 kPa]和平均动脉压[(88.03±8.47)mmHg比(98.11±11.69)mmHg]水平下降,自我管理问卷总得分及其各维度得分均提高,且高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论基于自我调节常识模型的健康教育改善了高血压患者的自我管理水平,患者血压得到控制,护士可将其作为一种有效的健康教育模式。

Thyroid autoimmunity at the onset of type 1 diabetes mellitus in children

Introduction: Studies that have investigated autoimmune thyroid disease in newly diagnosed type 1 diabetic children are few and reported prevalence rate ranges between 4.5 - 29.4 percent. Considering the effect of age, ethnic origin, and disease duration on the prevalence of autoimmune thyroid disease in diabetic subjects, we decided to investigate the thyroid autoimmunity in newly diagnosed type 1 diabetic children in our area of residence (North-WestIran). Methods: This cross-sectional study was carried out between 2008 and 2010. All of the children with newly diagnosed type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) presenting to the outpatient pediatric- endocrinology clinic of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences (the only university-affiliated clinic for pediatric-endocrinology in North-west Iran), were investigated for serum levels of anti- TPO, anti-Tg and TSH. Results: The study group included 99 children [mean age 7.75 ± 3.21 years (range 1.2 - 14), 45 boys (45.5%) and 54 girls (54.5%)]. About 9% of patients were seropositive for anti thyroid antibodies and females were affected more than males. The mean TSH level of subjects above 12 years of age (3.5 ± 2) was significantly (p = 0.037) higher than those below this age. Conclusion: Autoimmune thyroid disease and even hypothyroidism may accompany T1DM at its presenting time in children. This finding is more common in girls especially those above 12 years of age.
