Indoor versus outdoor scene recognition for navigation of a micro aerial vehicle using spatial color gist wavelet descriptors

In the context of improved navigation for micro aerial vehicles,a new scene recognition visual descriptor,called spatial color gist wavelet descriptor(SCGWD),is *** was developed by combining proposed Ohta color-GIST wavelet descriptors with census transform histogram(CENTRIST)spatial pyramid representation descriptors for categorizing indoor versus outdoor scenes.A binary and multiclass support vector machine(SVM)classifier with linear and non-linear kernels was used to classify indoor versus outdoor scenes and indoor scenes,*** this paper,we have also discussed the feature extraction methodology of several,state-of-the-art visual descriptors,and four proposed visual descriptors(Ohta color-GIST descriptors,Ohta color-GIST wavelet descriptors,enhanced Ohta color histogram descriptors,and SCGWDs),in terms of experimental *** proposed enhanced Ohta color histogram descriptors,Ohta color-GIST descriptors,Ohta color-GIST wavelet descriptors,SCGWD,and state-of-the-art visual descriptors were evaluated,using the Indian Institute of Technology Madras Scene Classification Image Database two,an Indoor-Outdoor Dataset,and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology indoor scene classification dataset[(MIT)-67].Experimental results showed that the indoor versus outdoor scene recognition algorithm,employing SVM with SCGWDs,produced the highest classification rates(CRs)—95.48%and 99.82%using radial basis function kernel(RBF)kernel and 95.29%and 99.45%using linear kernel for the IITM SCID2 and Indoor-Outdoor datasets,*** lowest CRs—2.08%and 4.92%,respectively—were obtained when RBF and linear kernels were used with the MIT-67 *** addition,higher CRs,precision,recall,and area under the receiver operating characteristic curve values were obtained for the proposed SCGWDs,in comparison with state-of-the-art visual descriptors.

Objective:To identify the occurrence of the amniotic deformity adhesions,mutilation(ADAM)complex and imperative role of fetal autopsy in diagnosing this ***:A retrospective descriptive study spanning nine years,from January 2014 to January 2022,was conducted at the Department of Pathology within a tertiary care hospital in South *** study focused on analyzing the clinical presentation,prenatal ultrasonogram,and morphological features of fetuses with the ADAM complex,limb body wall complex,or amniotic ***:Among the 438 fetuses assessed during the study period,five fetuses showed features of the ADAM complex(0.01%).The most frequent gestational age observed was 12–18 weeks andmost fetuseswere *** common anomaly encountered was limb defects,followed by abdominal and cranial ***:The diagnosis of the ADAM complex relies primarily on fetal autopsy to differentiate it from similar conditions like anencephaly or body-stalk *** pathologist plays a crucial role in understanding the complexities of the ADAM *** antenatal imaging and therapies offer potential for prevention through improved counseling.

The spreading of cancer cells from the primary tumor site to other parts of the body,known as metastasis,is the leading cause of cancer recurrence and mortality in patients with triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC).Overexpression of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)is observed in approximately 70%of TNBC *** is crucial for promoting tumor metastasis and associated with poor ***,it is vital to identify effective therapeutic strategies targeting EGFR ***,an isoflavonoid found in various plants,such as clover and soybeans,has been shown to have anticancer properties in several *** the present study,we aimed to investigate the effects of ononin on TNBC lung metastasis and the associated molecular *** used various assays,including cell viability,colony formation,Transwell,wound healing,ELISA,Western blotting,and staining techniques,to achieve this *** results demonstrated that ononin effectively suppressed cellular proliferation and induced apoptosis,as evidenced by the cell viability assay,colony formation assay,and expression of apoptosis markers,and reduced the metastatic capabilities of TNBC *** effects were achieved through the direct suppression of cell adhesion,invasiveness and ***,in TNBC xenograft lung metastatic models,ononin treatment significantly reduced tumor growth and lung ***,ononin reversed the epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)by downregulating the expression of EMT markers and matrix metalloproteinases,as confirmed by Western blot ***,ononin treatment reduced EGFR phosphorylation and suppressed the PI3K,Akt,and m TOR signaling pathways,which was further confirmed using EGFR agonists or ***,ononin treatment did not exert any toxic effects on liver or kidney *** conclusion,our findings suggest that ononin is a safe and potentially therapeutic treatment for TNBC metastasis that targets the EGFRm

BACKGROUND Prediabetes is a well-established risk factor for major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events(MACCE).However,the relationship between prediabetes and MACCE in atrial fibrillation(AF)patients has not been extensively ***,this study aimed to establish a link between prediabetes and MACCE in AF *** To investigate a link between prediabetes and MACCE in AF *** We used the National Inpatient Sample(2019)and relevant ICD-10 CM codes to identify hospitalizations with AF and categorized them into groups with and without prediabetes,excluding *** primary outcome was MACCE(all-cause inpatient mortality,cardiac arrest including ventricular fibrillation,and stroke)in AF-related *** Of the 2965875 AF-related hospitalizations for MACCE,47505(1.6%)were among patients with *** prediabetes cohort was relatively younger(median 75 vs 78 years),and often consisted of males(56.3%vs 51.4%),blacks(9.8%vs 7.9%),Hispanics(7.3%vs 4.3%),and Asians(4.7%vs 1.6%)than the non-prediabetic cohort(P<0.001).The prediabetes group had significantly higher rates of hypertension,hyperlipidemia,smoking,obesity,drug abuse,prior myocardial infarction,peripheral vascular disease,and hyperthyroidism(all P<0.05).The prediabetes cohort was often discharged routinely(51.1%vs 41.1%),but more frequently required home health care(23.6%vs 21.0%)and had higher *** adjusting for baseline characteristics or comorbidities,the prediabetes cohort with AF admissions showed a higher rate and significantly higher odds of MACCE compared to the non-prediabetic cohort[18.6%vs 14.7%,odds ratio(OR)1.34,95%confidence interval 1.26-1.42,P<0.001].On subgroup analyses,males had a stronger association(aOR 1.43)compared to females(aOR 1.22),whereas on the race-wise comparison,Hispanics(aOR 1.43)and Asians(aOR 1.36)had a stronger association with MACCE with prediabetes vs whites(aOR 1.33)and blacks(aOR 1.21).CONCLUSION This population-

Recent mobile broadband networks require heterogeneous networks supporting high capacity on demand.A hybrid Fiber-Wireless(Fi-Wi)access network integrating Differential Amplitude and Phase Shift Keying(DAPSK)based-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access(OFDMA)Passive Optical Network(PON)and 4G wireless network using Radio over Fiber(Ro F)technique is *** proposed heterogeneous network is simulated,and the performance is analyzed in terms of Bit Error Rate(BER),Error Vector Magnitude(EVM),Capacity,and Spectral *** proposed network is simulated considering a higher data rate of 10 and 25 Gbps,and the effect of system parameters like Laser Power,Fiber Length,and Number of users is *** results show that a higher network capacity of 720 Gbps with an average capacity of about 45 Gbps and a higher spectral efficiency of 4.85 bps/Hz is achieved for the multi-user heterogeneous network link with sixteen *** minimum value of optical power sufficient to achieve the desired BER is found to be-6 *** suitability of the proposed integrated architecture in supporting multiple services is analyzed by considering different services at each *** spectral efficiency of the multi-service link varies from 3 to 4 bps/Hz.

Minimum Spanning Trees Across Well-Connected Cities and with Location-Dependent Weights

Consider n nodes{X_(i)}_(1≤i≤n) independently and identically distributed(i.i.d.)across N cities located within the unit square *** city is modelled as an r_(n)×r_(n)square,and MSTC_(n)denotes the weighted length of the minimum spanning tree containing all the n nodes,where the edge length between nodes X_(i)and X_(j)is weighted by a factor that depends on the individual locations of X_(i)and X_(j).We use approximation methods to obtain variance estimates for MSTC_(n)and prove that if the cities are well connected in a certain sense,then MSTC_(n)appropriately centred and scaled converges to zero in *** the above proof techniques we also study MST_(n),the length of the minimum weighted spanning tree for nodes distributed throughout the unit square S with location-dependent edge *** this case,the variance of MST_(n)grows at most as a power of the logarithm of n and we use a subsequence argument to get almost sure convergence of MST_(n),appropriately centred and scaled.

Poly(3-hydroxyalkanoates) (PHAs) are a promising class of biodegradable polymers,exhibiting properties comparable to traditional petroleum-based ***,the widespread commercialization of PHAs is hindered by the absence of an efficient and economically viable catalytic system,impeding their competitiveness against non-biodegradable *** an effort to address this challenge,we present a study on a newly developed chloro-bridged dimeric salphen zirconium cobaltate complex for the direct synthesis of PHAs via carbonylative polymerization of *** catalytic system demonstrates favorable activity under mild reaction conditions,enabling complete monomer conversion and an impressive 92% selectivity towards PHA *** meticulous control experiments and mechanistic studies,we have gained crucial insights into the polymerization ***,our findings challenge the prevailing notion of sequential ring-opening polymerization of in-situ generated β-lactones as the primary ***,we demonstrate that the polymerization predominantly proceeds through direct co-polymerization of epoxide and carbon monoxide,unveiling a unique and efficient mechanism for PHA synthesis.

Controllability results for damped second-order impulsive neutral integrodifferential systems with nonlocal conditions

In this paper, we establish a set of sufficient conditions for the controllability of damped second-order impulsive neutral integrodifferential systems with nonlocal initial conditions in Banach spaces. The approach used is the Sadovskii fixed point theorem combined with a noncompact condition on the cosine family of operators. An example is oresented to illustrate the result.
