In this work, ura.ine-dyed zinc（tris） thiourea.sulfa.e（ZTS） monocrysta.s, 26 mm×15 mm×10 mm in size, were synthesized by the solution method a. a.bient tempera.ure. Their purity, crysta.linity, la.tice pa.a.eters, a.d functiona. modes were studied by x-ra. diffra.tion, Fourier tra.sform-infra.ed spectroscopy（FT-Ir）, a.d FT-ra.a. spectroscopy a.a.yses. The sodium ion content of the crysta.s from the dye wa. confirmed by elementa. a.a.ysis. The diffused reflecta.ce spectra. a.a.ysis of the dyed crysta. revea.ed a.cha.a.teristic a.sorption ba.d a. 490 nm a.tributed to the presence of the dye. The ca.cula.ed ba.d ga.s of the non-dyed a.d dyed crysta.s were 4.53 a.d 4.57 e V, respectively. a.green emission pea. a. ～（512 ± 4） nm wa. observed in the photoluminescence spectrum of the ura.ine-dyed crysta.s. a.differentia. sca.ning ca.orimetry study confirmed tha. the therma. sta.ility improved owing to the a.dition of the dye. Dielectric a.d microha.dness studies were conducted to exa.ine the significa.t improvements in the corresponding properties of dyed crysta.s. The results demonstra.ed the competency of the dyed ZTS crysta.s for a.plica.ions in optoelectronic devices.

Keeping in view the importa.ce of a.ylose for va.ious food industries a. well a. its importa.ce on domestic level, the current study wa. conducted to a.a.yze the a.ylose content of pulses of common use e.g. mungbea. （NM-92, NM-98 a.d ra.a.a.） a.d ka.uli type chickpea.（CMNKI0-99, CMNK452-2 a.d Ha.sa. 2k） va.ieties a.d qua.tifying the influence of cooking （boiling） on the a.ylose contents of pulses. The da.a.revea.ed tha. moisture a.d a.nylose content of uncooked mungbea. va.ieties ra.ged 9.01-9.47% a.d 20.06-22.26% respectively. The moisture a.d a.ylose content of Ka.uli type chickpea.va.ieties va.ied 8.52-8.79% a.d 20.25-22.83% respectively. Moisture content of mungbea. （64.16-66.08%） a. well a. chickpea.（55.56-61.52%） va.ieties increa.ed a.ter cooking. For a.l the three va.ieties of mungbea. the observed cooking time wa. 11 minutes. The ma.imum va.ue of a.ylose content wa. a.sa.ed for NM-98 （20.74%） followed by ra.za. （20.24%）. The cooking time of Ka.uli type chickpea.va.ieties CMNK-452-2 a.d CMNK-10-99 wa. 60 min. Ha.sa. 2K observed more cooking time （90 min） a.d highest va.ue of a.ylose content in cooked （19.01%） sa.ples. The effect of cooking/va.ieta.s on sensory eva.ua.ion （a.pea.a.ce, fla.or, texture a.d overa.l a.cepta.ility） of mungbea. va.ieties wa. sta.istica.ly non significa.t a.tributes. a.ong chickpea.va.ieties, Ha.sa. 2K wa. ra.ked lowest due to its sma.l size a.d ha.d texture a.d the sensory a.tributes were sta.istica.ly significa.t （P 〈 0.05） a. compa.ed to the other two va.ieties.

Feed restriction is a.common pra.tice to reduce post wea.ing digestive disorders in ra.bits a.d to get ca.ca.ses with less fa.. Hydric restriction is commonly used to induce feed restriction in growing ra.bits. Two hydric restriction times （2 h a.d 4 h per da., continuously） were used in our tria. ca.ried in good sa.ita.y conditions. Thirty six ra.bits were divided a. wea.ing （28 da.s） into three groups： r2 with restricted a.cess to drinking wa.er from 35 da.s to 80 da.s a.e of 2 h per da. （from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.）, r4： a.cess to drinking wa.er 4 h per da. （from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m.） a.d T （control group） with unlimited a.cess to drinking wa.er. Six a.ima.s from ea.h group were sla.ghtered a. 80 da.s of a.e. Ca.ca.s mea.urements a.d mea. qua.ity were studied. Histologica. study for kidneys wa. ca.ried out. rela.ive weight of ga.trointestina. tra.t increa.es with the degree of restriction： 16.5, 18.4 a.d 18.9 for T, r4 a.d r2, respectively （P 〈 0.05）. Perirena. fa. wa. lower in restricted groups but differences were not sta.ica.ly significa.t. Sca.ula. fa. decrea.es of 2/3 or 1/3 respectively with limiting a.cess to drinking wa.er of 2 h or 4 h per da.. Compa.ed to control group （T）, mea. of restricted groups conta.ns more wa.er： 70.3%, 70% a.d 69.3% respectively for r4, r2 a.d T （P 〈 0.01）. The sa.e tendency wa. observed for proteins： 19.2%, 19.3% a.d 17.7% for groups r2, r4 a.d T. Fa. decrea.es in mea. of restricted a.ima.s： 8.4%, 8.2% a.d 8.1% respectively for T, r4 a.d r2 （P 〈 0.05）. Wa.er restriction induced decrea.e of ca.ca.s a.d mea. a.iposity. There were no differences between pH post mortem a.d pH ultima.e （a.ter 24 h） between the three groups. Hydric restriction does not effect on kidney histology.
