Alcohol consumption on pancreatic diseases

Although the association between alcohol and pancreatic diseases has been recognized for a long time,the impact of alcohol consumption on pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer(PC)remains poorly *** there is not consensus about the epidemiology and the beverage type,dose and duration of alcohol consumption causing these *** objective of this study was to review the epidemiology described in the literature for pancreatic diseases as a consequence of alcoholic behavior trying to understand the association between dose,type and frequency of alcohol consumption and risk of pancreatitis and *** majority of the studies conclude that high alcohol intake was associated with a higher risk of pancreatitis(around 2.5%-3% between heavy drinkers and 1.3%between non drinkers).About 70%of pancreatitis are due to chronic heavy alcohol *** this incidence rate differs between countries,it is clear that the risk of developing pancreatitis increases with increasing doses of alcohol and the average of alcohol consumption vary since 80 to 150 g/d for 10-15 *** regard to PC, the role of alcohol consumption remains less clear,and low to moderate alcohol consumption do not appear to be associated with PC risk,and only chronic heavy drinking increase the risk compared with lightly *** a population of 10%-15%of heavy drinkers, 2%-5%of all PC cases could be attributed to alcohol ***,as only a minority(less than 10%for pancreatitis and 5%for PC)of heavily drinkers develops these pancreatic diseases,there are other predisposing factors besides alcohol *** variability and environmental exposures such as smoking and diet modify the risk and should be considered for further investigations.

目的:1.探究如何在有限的室外空间下简便地计算换气质量;2.建立利用采光井进行建筑通风的应用模型。创新点:1.案例研究评估的成熟方法论应用;2.得到采光井对室内空气通风促进度的速算图表。方法:1.采用风洞分析的两步确认法;2.对实际采光井模型进行计算流体动力学应用。结论:1.高长比小于3的采光井表现出了不错的换气能力;2.对空气质量要求更高的居住空间(如卧室和起居室)而言,室内通风口必须被设在高度低于24米的采光井的上半部分或者其他采光井中距离顶部12米以内的位置。

The back pain is the most common injury in human activities where heavy objects must be lifted or must be suspended for a long time.A weight lifting exoskeleton also known as force augmentation exoskeleton is designed to reduce the strain on the back and the limbs and reduce the risk to suffer *** the other hand,different kinds of controllers have been implemented to achieve whit this goal,for example,a conventional PD Control,PD Control with Gravity Compensation,PD Control with Adaptive desired Gravity Compensation and PD Control with Robust *** paper aims to evaluate and compare the performance from the previously cited controllers used to reduce the strain in the back,through the implementation of each controller in a three degrees Of Freedom(DOF)exoskeleton powered by pneumatic muscle actuators;some numerical simulations as well as experimental trials have been conducted and three different performance indices were used in order to determine the effectiveness of each one with respect to the simple PD controller when the mass to be lifted is unknown.

The synthesis of the thenoyltrifluoroacetone compound doped with terbium, dysprosium and europium encapsulated in a silica matrix (TTA:Tb:Dy:Eu@SiO2) were performed by the sol-gel method. The precursors to obtain the vitreous phase (SiO2) were: Tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS, C8H2O4Si, 98%, Aldrich), and ethyl alcohol (CH3CH2OH, 99.5%, Meyer), distilled water and 0.05 ml of hydrochloric acid (HCl, Meyer). The sample with molar ratio 20:80 TTA:Tb:Dy:Eu@SiO2 has the best emission intensity. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) shown that silica encapsulated samples decompose at lower temperatures than pure TTA:Tb:Dy:Eu luminescent material. Fourier Transform Infrared (IR-TF) shown the characteristic Si-O-Si bands that are presented at a wavelength of 1049, 853 and 440 cmǃ confirming that the luminescent material is encapsulated in a silica matrix, finally X-ray diffraction (XRD) shown that TTA:Tb:Dy:Eu@SiO2 composite is amorphous.

The objective of the present work is characterizing some parameters in the lay phase in the lines of heavy broilers breeder Cobb Avian 48, Arbor Acres Plus and Ross 208, reared under the same commercial conditions in the tropics. Monitored three batches of approximately 18,000 females each （one for each genetic type）, from weeks 24 to 64, according to the conditions of handling and power described by the generic lines distribution companies. Although no differences were found for feed intake, Cobb Avian was presented a lower rate of feed conversion, being also that presented the highest percentage of implementation and production of incubables eggs, which meant that it was in line with the highest cumulative production of chickens by bird and week for tropical conditions studied. To adjust the lay data to a Gorssman model, in order to predict the parameters that characterize the lay modeling, estimated the best behavior for Cobb Avian 48 females, because while it takes more time to reach the level of putting constant （5.30 weeks） and maintain it for less time （2.4 weeks）, they manage to put constant high （79.11%） level, considering that the largest number of eggs per bird （171.19 vs. 164.54 and 160.11 in Arbor Acres and Ross 208, respectively）.

The main drawbacks of fluorescent activated lanthanide luminescent materials in practical optoelectronic applications are the high cost of raw material and the limitation of a specific color depending on the lanthanide ion. In this work, the synthesis of red, white and blue light emitting composite powders of Al2O3:Eu3+@SiO2 were successfully synthesized by the hydrolysis and condensation reactions of TEOS as the raw precursor of silica matrix on the Al2O3:Eu3+ surface. With the aim to change the CIE coordinates different weight ratios of Al2O3:Eu3+/SiO2 powders from 13Al/87Si to 5Al/95Si were prepared. Besides, various excitation wavelength from 280 to 340 nm was used in order to change the ratio intensity;Ired/Iblue, between the red emission coming from the 5D0→7F2 transition of Eu3+ ions and the blue band of silica matrix. Chemical evolution of the hydrolysis and condensation reaction of TEOS were conducted by FTIR spectroscopy. The results indicate that from 500°C a complete TEOS to SiO2 transformation is carried out.

The objective of this work is to define a decision support system over SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compatibility and quality of the Purchase Orders Creation Process based on Artificial Intelligence and Theory of Argumentation knowledge and techniques. This proposed model directly contributes to both scientific research artificial intelligent area and business practices. From business perspective it empowers the use of artificial intelligent models and techniques to drive decision making processes over financial statements. From scientific and research area the impact is based on the combination of 1) an Information Seeking Dialog Protocol in which a requestor agent inquires the business case, 2) a Facts Valuation based Protocol in which the previously gathered facts are analyzed, 3) the already incorporated initial knowledge of a human expert via initial beliefs, 4) the Intra-Agent decision Making Protocol based on deductive argumentation and 5) the semi automated Dynamic Knowledge Learning Protocol. Last but not least the suggested way of integration of this proposed model in a higher level multiagent intelligent system in which a Joint deliberative Dialog Protocol and an Inter-Agent decision deductive Argumentation Making Protocol are described.
