Detection of Perfect Stealthy Attacks on Cyber-Physical Systems Subject to Measurement Quantizations: A Watermark-Based Strategy

In this paper, the attack detection problem is investigated for a class of closed-loop systems subjected to unknownbutbounded noises in the presence of stealthy attacks. The measurement outputs from the sensors are quantized before transmission.A specific type of perfect stealthy attack, which meets certain rather stringent conditions, is taken into account. Such attacks could be injected by adversaries into both the sensor-toestimator and controller-to-actuator channels, with the aim of disrupting the normal data flow. For the purpose of defending against these perfect stealthy attacks, a novel scheme based on watermarks is developed. This scheme includes the injection of watermarks(applied to data prior to quantization) and the recovery of data(implemented before the data reaches the estimator).The watermark-based scheme is designed to be both timevarying and hidden from adversaries through incorporating a time-varying and bounded watermark signal. Subsequently, a watermark-based attack detection strategy is proposed which thoroughly considers the characteristics of perfect stealthy attacks,thereby ensuring that an alarm is activated upon the occurrence of such attacks. An example is provided to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed mechanism for detecting attacks.

石墨烯自被成功制备以来,就以其优异的材料性能在众多领域受到了广泛关注,特别是其具备快速光电响应、宽光谱吸收、尺寸优势等特性,是制备微纳光电探测器的理想材料之一。目前,石墨烯光电探测器已经实现,但基于传统结构的石墨烯探测器存在光吸收效率低、光电响应差的问题。利用等离激元实现光吸收增强是一种可行的技术路线,但其存在微纳结构过于复杂、成本过高、性能不足等问题。本文提出了一种基于Au光栅/石墨烯/h-BN/SiO_(2)的异质结构,利用h-BN与红外光相互作用产生的声子极化激元效应,将红外光局域在石墨烯中,增强石墨烯与异质结构整体的吸收率;同时,石墨烯与h-BN的晶格常数相近,该异质结构可最大程度地发挥石墨烯优异的光电性能。通过有限元(Finite element method,FEM)方法对吸收率和电磁场分布进行分析,发现在入射光频率为1550 cm^(-1)时,Au光栅/石墨烯/h-BN/SiO_(2)混合结构石墨烯层的功率耗散密度是Au光栅/石墨烯/SiO_(2)对照组结构的4.4倍,光吸收率是对照组的6.5倍。同时,通过控制h-BN的厚度、Au电极的厚度及栅宽可以实现对吸收强度的调控。该研究为实现基于石墨烯的中红外光电探测器提供了理论依据。

Effect of Cooling Rates on Solidification Microstructures and Tensile Property of a Novel Wrought Superalloy

The effects of cooling rates on solidification behaviors,segregation characteristics and tensile property of GH4151 alloy were investigated using microstructure characterization and tensile ***,a relationship between the secondary dendrite arm spacing and cooling rate was determined and it was confirmed to be ***,it can be found from microstructure observations that the morphology of(Nb,Ti)C carbides transits from blocky and script type to fine script type and spotty type,and the refinedγ'phase was observed due to decrease of segregation with increasing cooling ***,the solidification microstructures of the industrial-scale samples were *** morphology ofηphase changes from indistinguishable shape,fine needle-like shape to large block-like shape with increasing ingot *** a result,the mechanical properties of alloy decrease due to increase of brittle *** experimental results show that the precipitation behavior of GH4151 is affected by segregation degree of elements,and the segregation degree is determined by solute distribution process and solid back-diffusion process.

Dear Editor,In this letter,the recursive fault estimation issue is considered for nonlinear time-varying systems subject to the effects induced by energy harvesting sensors and uniform *** on the energy harvesting mechanism and stochastic distribution of the absorbed energy,the real-time occurrence probability of missing measurements is calculated *** research intends to develop a recursive estimator for the considered nonlinear time-varying system with energy harvesting sensors,such that,under uniform quantization effects,the state and fault can be jointly *** adopting the induction approach,an upper bound is firstly calculated for the estimation error covariances(EECs)of the state and ***,the value of the time-varying estimator parameter is computed through minimizing such calculated upper *** the end,an illustrative example is presented to verify the availability of the developed fault estimation method.

Carbon Footprint Analysis for Baby Strollers

The increasing awareness of climate change has led organizations to demand a standard procedure to measure and communicate greenhouse gas(GHG) emissions linked to their products or *** publicly available specification PAS 2050 has been developed in response to broad community and industry desire for a consistent method-carbon footprint for assessing the life cycle GHG emissions of goods and ***,this paper illustrates the implementation of carbon footprint for a baby stroller in accordance with PAS 2050.A fial value of 321 kg per one stroller including package was ***,the study led to identify raw materials production of the stroller as the main source of GHS emissions where efforts need to focus for emission reduction *** case study is hoped to be a starting point for organizations to benefit from the increasing application of carbon footprint assessment.

Energy flexibility characteristics of centralized hot water system in university dormitories

The large-scale application of renewable energy is an important strategy to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality in the building *** flexibility is essential for ensuring balance between energy demand and supply when targeting the maximum penetration rate of renewable energy during the operation of regional integrated energy *** the energy flexibility characteristics of centralized hot water systems,which are an important source of such flexibility,is of great significance to the optimal operation of regional integrated energy ***,in this study,based on the annual real-time monitoring data,the energy flexibility of the centralized hot water system in university dormitories is evaluated from the perspective of available storage capacity(C_(ADR)),recovery time(t_(recovery)),and storage efficiency(η_(ADR)),by the data-driven simulation *** factors influencing the energy flexibility of the centralized hot water system are also *** storage capacity has a strong positive correlation with daily water consumption and a strong negative correlation with daily mean outdoor *** associations indicate that increased water use on the energy flexibility of the centralized hot water system is conducive to optimal *** contrast,higher outdoor temperature is *** hourly mean value of the available storage capacity in spring and winter is found to be around 80 kWh in the daytime,and about twice that in summer and *** time is evenly distributed throughout the year,while t_(recovery)/C_(ADR)in spring and winter is about half that in *** storage efficiency was significantly higher in spring,summer,and winter than in *** hourly mean storage efficiency was found to be about 40%in the *** benefits of activating energy flexibility in spring and winter are the best,because these two seasons have higher available storage capacity and storage efficiency,while the benefit

Spatiotemporal variations of parameters of internal solitary waves in the northern South China Sea

The dynamic parameters for internal solitary waves(ISWs)derived from the extended Korteweg-de Vries(eKdV)equation play an important role in the understanding and prediction of *** spatiotemporal variations of the dynamic parameters of the ISWs in the northern South China Sea(SCS)were studied based on the reanalysis of long-term temperature and salinity *** results for spectrum analysis show that there are definite geographical differences for the periodic variation of the parameters:in shallow water,all parameters vary with a wave period of one year,while in deep water wave components of the parameters at other frequencies *** wavelet analysis,the wavelet power spectral densities in deep water exhibited an inter-annual variation *** example,the wave component of the dispersion coefficient with a wave period of about half a year reached its power peak once every two *** on previous work,this inter-annual variation pattern was deduced to be caused by dynamic *** further work on the regulatory mechanisms,empirical orthogonal function(EOF)decomposition was *** was found that the modes of the dispersion coefficient have different geographical distributions,explaining the reason why the wave components in different frequencies appeared in different *** numerical simulation results confirm that the variations in the parameters of the ISWs derived from the eKdV equation could affect the waveforms significantly because of changes in the polarity of the ***,the periodic variations of the dynamic parameters are related to the geographical location because of dynamic processes operating.

DFT Investigations About Pyrazine Molecules on Si(100)-2×1 Surface

It is important to understand the interface of aromatic molecules on semiconductor surfaces because of the rich functionality of such molecules on semiconductor surfaces. The chemisorption of pyrazine molecules on the Si （100）- 2×1 surface has been investigated using the B3LYP density functional theory with Si9H12 one-dimer and Si15Hl6 two-dimer cluster models. The calculated results predict that N-dative bonded-state, C2=C5 [E4＋2] and the tight- bridgel,2,5,6 products may coexist on the Si（100）-2 × 1 surface.

Joint frequency offset tracking and PAPR reduction algorithm in OFDM systems

This paper presents an algorithm that aims to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio（PAPR） of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing（OFDM） communication systems while maintaining frequency *** algorithm achieves PAPR reduction by applying the complex conjugates of the data symbol obtained from the frequency domain to cancel the phase of the data symbol.A likelihood estimator is used to obtain the sub-carrier phase error due to the residual carrier frequency offset（RCFO） using the same complex conjugates as a pilot ***,a joint time and frequency domain multicarrier phase locked loop（MPLL） is developed to compensate additional frequency *** results show that this algorithm is capable of reducing PAPR without impacting the frequency tracking performance.
