Modulation of the cutoff wavelength in the spectra for solar selective absorbing coating based on high-entropy films

This paper demonstrates an intrinsic modulation of the cutoff wavelength in the spectra for solar selective absorbing coating based on high-entropy ***(NiCuCrFeSi)N((NCCFS)N)films were deposited by a magnetron sputtering *** backscattering spectroscopy analysis confirms the uniform composition and good homogeneity of these high-entropy *** real and imaginary parts of the permittivity for the(NCCFS)N material are calculated on the basis of the reflectance spectral fitting results.A redshift cutoff wavelength of the reflectance spectrum with increasing nitrogen gas flow rate exists because of the different levels of dispersion when changing nitrogen *** realize significant solar absorption,the film surface was reconstituted to match its impedance with air by designing a pyramid nanostructure *** with the absorptance of the as-deposited films,the designed metasurface obtains a significant improvement in solar absorption with the absorptance increasing from 0.74 to *** metasurfaces also show low mid-infrared emissions with thermal emittance that can be as low as *** results demonstrate a new idea in the design of solar selective absorbing surface with controllable absorptance and low infrared emission for high-efficiency photo-thermal conversion.

A recent work of Iliopoulos et al published in Cell highlighted a circuit orchestrated by microRNAs (miRNAs) that results in liver tumorigenesis and inflammation. This feedback loop, governed by miR-24 and miR-629, promotes a hepatocyte nuclear factor-4α transient inhibition resulting in miR-124 induction and signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 activation. These promising data support the use of miRNA mimics or inhibitors as potent therapeutic approaches in liver cancer.

溶解有机质(DOM)是水生生态系统的重要能量和营养源,其N/C等元素化学计量学能够反映湖泊沉积物营养物质来源,相关研究有助于揭示全球变暖和水体富营养化的影响机制。本研究聚焦高分辨率质谱技术所获DOM的N/C比值,通过Meta分析从宏观角度考察全球湖泊、河流、海洋和泥炭地等多生境N/C比值的全球分布情况。结果表明,河流水体、沉积物和污水等生境的N/C均值(分别为0.050±0.062、0.050±0.014和0.083±0.084)均显著高于泥炭地(0.026±0.037);水体N/C比值主要受海拔(即温度)、pH、氨氮和溶解有机碳等显著影响,而泥炭地等陆地N/C比值主要受pH、总溶解有机氮和溶解有机碳的影响。进一步,依托云南老君山海拔梯度开展模拟温度变化和营养富集的微宇宙实验定量解析其影响机制,并根据沉积物DOM分子转换数将总分子划分为高活性和低活性两类,探究总分子及其两类组分的N/C比值对温度和营养富集的响应规律。溶解有机质N/C均值为0.112±0.020,其中高活性分子(0.119±0.017)显著高于低活性分子(0.109±0.034)。总分子N/C比值主要受亚硝酸盐和硝酸盐等营养盐的影响,相对总贡献率为63.43%;高活性分子N/C比值主要受营养盐和能量供应(比如溶解有机碳、总有机碳和叶绿素a等)的影响,而低活性分子N/C比值主要受营养盐的影响。结构方程模型分析表明,营养富集对总分子N/C比值的影响高于温度,主要通过能量供应和营养盐的间接作用而产生影响;对于高活性分子,营养盐主要通过能量供应的间接作用影响N/C比值;而对于低活性分子,主要通过营养盐发挥直接作用。本研究结果首次探讨了全球不同生境N/C比值的分布格局,揭示了沉积物溶解有机质N/C比值对全球变暖和营养富集的响应规律和机制,为更好理解和预测未来全球变化背景下溶解有机碳稳定性提供科学参考。

Exosomal microRNAs as a potential therapeutic strategy in hepatocellular carcinoma

Hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC） is the ffth most com-mon cancer and the second cause of cancer-related death worldwide. The incidence of HCC is constantly increasing in correlation with the rise in diabetes and obesity, arguing for an urgent need for new develo-pments in the treatment of this lethal cancer. Exoso-mes are small double-membrane vesicles loaded with distinct cargos, particularly small non-coding RNAs called microRNAs, representative of each donor cell and secreted to affect the features of neighboring cells or recipient cells located further away, like in the case of metastasis. A better understanding of the role of exosomes with a microRNA signature in cancer path-ogenesis gave rise to the concept of their use as a non-invasive diagnostic biomarker and in the treatment of cancer, including HCC. In this communication, we review recent works that demonstrate that hepatic stellate cells establish an epigenetic communication with liver cancer cells, which affects their pro-malignant features. If naturally secreted patient-derived exosomes show major limitations concerning their clinical use, bio-engin-eered exosome mimetics that incorporate controlled components and exhibit no protumoral properties could be promising carriers for the treatment of liver cancers, which is the organ preferentially targeted by systemic injection of exosomes.

Systematicly tuning the porosities of porous materials is crucial for targeted gas mixture separation,yet it remains a longstanding *** a common strategy,altering the phenylene ring count in the organic building units has been exploited to adjust pore apertures in metal organic frameworks （MOFs） and covalent organic frameworks （COFs）,resulting in only a stepwise pore size variation of approximately 2.8?.Unlike MOFs and COFs,the porosities for supramolecular assembly frameworks are highly dependent on the packings of the molecular building units in the *** above strategy cannot be applied to supramolecular assembly frameworks and other strategies are required to adjust pore apertures in supramolecular frameworks,especially to achieve porous materials with the optimal pore size for D2/H2separation （～3?）.Here,we successfully modulate the porosity of supramolecular frameworks of[CoII1+12CoIII8L12（μ3-OH）24（X）]1clusters （L=mono-deprotonated 1-iminoisoindole-3-amine,X=ClO?4or Cl?） by controlling the duration of self-assembly *** simply adjusting the reaction time,we obtain three[CoII12CoIII8L12（μ3-OH）24（X）]11+supramolecular frameworks:[CoII12CoIII8（μ3-OH）24（ClO4）L12)]·（Cl）4·（HCO2）7（1）,[CoII12CoIII8L12（μ3-OH）24（Cl）]·（ClOI4）4·（Cl）6·（HCO2）·（H2O）10（2）,and[CoI12CoIII8L12（μ3-OH）24（Cl）]·（Cl）11·（H2O）12（3）.The different stacking patterns of the[CoII12CoIII8L12（μ3-OH）24（X）]11+clusters in these frameworks lead to significantly varied stabilities and *** 1 exhibits permanent porosity with interconnected channels and maintains stability under harsh *** contrast,compound 2 is nearly nonporous,and compound 3 becomes unstable upon *** pores of compound 1 show higher affinity to D2than H2,and the pore aperture diameter of compound 1 （～3.06?） meets the optimal porosity for D2/***,compound 1 demonstrates moderate D2/H2separation at 77 K (retention time:～7 min/g for D2/H2/Ne （10/10/80 vol%） in a flow of 5 mL

Improvement of thermal stability of ZrSiON based solar selective absorbing coating

Solar selective absorbing coatings(SSACs)are required to have not only excellent optical property but also outstanding thermal stability for high temperature *** optical properties of Mo/ZrSiN/ZrSiON/SiO_(2) SSAC had been optimized successfully ***,we are focusing on the evaluation and mechanism of thermal stability of this multilayer coating for its potential applications in concentrated solar power(CSP)***,the coating exhibits excellent thermal stability after aging at 400℃ for 1500 h in *** aging temperature of 500℃ for 1000 h or 600℃ for 300 h in vacuum,the slight inter-diffusion between Mo layer and stainless steel(SS)substrate *** higher aging temperature of 700℃ for 100 h in vacuum,the serious inter-diffusion between Mo layer and SS substrate leads to invalidation of the coating,which has been evidenced by Rutherford backscattering spectrometry(RBS)and X-ray diffraction(XRD)***,this coating also has an outstanding thermal stability after aging at 400℃for 300 h in air.A heating-cooling cycling(HCC)treatment evidences the good thermal stability of this coating working in cold environment(60℃).The results reveal that this coating can be a promising candidate not only for CSP system in high temperatures but also for usage in cold environment.

Detection of Perfect Stealthy Attacks on Cyber-Physical Systems Subject to Measurement Quantizations: A Watermark-Based Strategy

In this paper, the attack detection problem is investigated for a class of closed-loop systems subjected to unknownbutbounded noises in the presence of stealthy attacks. The measurement outputs from the sensors are quantized before transmission.A specific type of perfect stealthy attack, which meets certain rather stringent conditions, is taken into account. Such attacks could be injected by adversaries into both the sensor-toestimator and controller-to-actuator channels, with the aim of disrupting the normal data flow. For the purpose of defending against these perfect stealthy attacks, a novel scheme based on watermarks is developed. This scheme includes the injection of watermarks(applied to data prior to quantization) and the recovery of data(implemented before the data reaches the estimator).The watermark-based scheme is designed to be both timevarying and hidden from adversaries through incorporating a time-varying and bounded watermark signal. Subsequently, a watermark-based attack detection strategy is proposed which thoroughly considers the characteristics of perfect stealthy attacks,thereby ensuring that an alarm is activated upon the occurrence of such attacks. An example is provided to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed mechanism for detecting attacks.

An Overview of Self-piercing Riveting Process with Focus on Joint Failures, Corrosion Issues and Optimisation Techniques

Self-piercing riveting(SPR)is a cold forming technique used to fasten together two or more sheets of materials with a rivet without the need to predrill a *** application of SPR in the automotive sector has become increasingly popular mainly due to the growing use of lightweight materials in transportation ***,SPR joining of these advanced light materials remains a challenge as these materials often lack a good combination of high strength and ductility to resist the large plastic deformation induced by the SPR *** this paper,SPR joints of advanced materials and their corresponding failure mechanisms are discussed,aiming to provide the foundation for future improvement of SPR joint *** paper is divided into three major sections:1)joint failures focusing on joint defects originated from the SPR process and joint failure modes under different mechanical loading conditions,2)joint corrosion issues,and 3)joint optimisation via process parameters and advanced techniques.
