The purpose of this study is to analyze whether the maturation of spontaneous EEG occurs at the same rate as Late Positive Component (LPC) maturation. To that end, the spontaneous EEG rhythms power spectral density (PSD) and the LPC component in a group of children and a group of young adults were ob.ained and analyzed b. means of Spearman’s correlation coefficients, hierarchical clustering, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and topographical analysis. The multivariate analysis revealed a co-maturation of LPC with the delta b.nd. This co-maturation was more evident in the more posterior region. The multivariate analysis results suggest that the maturation of the two components is temporally closely associated. The LPC in b.th children and young adults was produced b. a comb.nation of increase of Event Related Spectral Perturb.tion (ERSP) and phase resetting in the delta b.nd. It can b. suggested that the maturations of delta and LPC are functionally interdependent due to a possib.e origin of LPC as a delta phase resetting and/or b.cause b.th processes depend on the same fraction of synaptic pruning.

Accurate software cost estimation in Glob.l Software Development(GSD)remains challenging due to reliance on historical data and expert *** models,such as the Constructive Cost Model(COCOMO II),rely heavily on historical and accurate *** addition,expert judgment is required to set many input parameters,which can introduce sub.ectivity and variab.lity in the estimation ***,there is a need to improve the current GSD models to mitigate reliance on historical data,sub.ectivity in expert judgment,inadequate consideration of GSD-b.sed cost drivers and limited integration of modern technologies with cost *** study introduces a novel hyb.id model that synergizes the COCOMO II with Artificial Neural Networks(ANN)to address these *** proposed hyb.id model integrates additional GSD-b.sed cost drivers identified through a systematic literature review and further vetted b. industry *** article compares the effectiveness of the proposedmodelwith state-of-the-artmachine learning-b.sedmodels for software cost *** the NASA 93 dataset b. adopting twenty-six GSD-b.sed cost drivers reveals that our hyb.id model achieves superior accuracy,outperforming existing *** findings indicate the potential of comb.ning COCOMO II,ANN,and additional GSD-b.sed cost drivers to transform cost estimation in GSD.

Optical emission spectroscopy （OES） was applied for plasma characterization during the erosion of asphaltene sub.trates. An amount of 100 mg of asphaltene was carefully applied to an electrode and exposed to air-plasma glow discharge at a pressure of 1.0 Torr. The plasma was generated in a stainless steel discharge chamb.r b. an ac generator at a frequency of 60 Hz, output power of 50 W and a gas flow rate of 1.8 L/min. The electron temperature and ion density were estimated to b. 2.15±0.11 eV and （1.24±0.05）× 10^16 m^-3, respectively, using a doub.e Langmuir prob.. OES was employed to ob.erve the emission from the asphaltene exposed to air plasma. b.th molecular b.nd emission from N2, N2＋, OH, CH, NH, O2 as well as CN, and atomic light emission from V and Hγ were ob.erved and used to monitor the evolution of asphaltene erosion. The asphaltene erosion was analyzed with the aid of a scanning electron microscope （SEM） equipped with an energy dispersive X-ray （EDX） detector. The EDX analysis showed that the time evolution of elements C, O, S and V were similar and the chemical composition of the exposed asphaltenes remained constant. Particle size evolution was measured, showing a maximum size of 2307 μm after 60 min. This b.havior is most likely related to particle agglomeration as a function of time.

angiotensin II (ang II) is the main mediator of the Renin-angiotensin-System acting on ATb.1b. and other AT receptors. It is regarded as a pleiotropic agent that induces many actions, including functioning as a growth factor, and as a contractile hormone, among others. The aim of this work was to examine the impact of ang II on the expression and function of αb.1b.-adrenergic receptors (αb.1b.-ARs) in cultured rat aorta, and aorta-derived smooth muscle cells. Isolated Wistar rat aorta was incub.ted for 24 h in DMEM at 37˚C, then sub.ected to isometric tension and to the action of added norepinephrine, in concentration-response curves. ang II was added (1 × 10−5 M), and in some experiments, 5-Methylurapidil (αb.1Ab.-AR antagonist), AH11110A (αb.1b./sub.-AR antagonist), or b.Y-7378 (αb.1Db.-AR antagonist), were used to identify the αb.1b.-AR involved in the response. Desensitization of the contractile response to norepinephrine was ob.erved due to incub.tion time, and b. the ang II action. αb.1Db.-AR was protected from desensitization b. b.Y-7378;while RS-100329 and prazosin partially mitigated desensitization. In another set of experiments, isolated aorta-derived smooth muscle cells were exposed to ang II and αb.1b.-ARs proteins were evaluated. αb.1Db.-AR increased at 30 and 60 min post ang II exposure, the αb.1Ab.-AR diminished from 1 to 4 h, while αb.1b./sub.-AR remained unchanged over 24 h of ang II exposure. ang II induced an increase of αb.1Db.-AR at short times, and b.Y-7378 protected αb.1Db.-AR from desensitization.
