We present radial velocity(RV)curve templates of RR Lyrae first-overtone(RRc)stars constructed with the Mg.I b triplet and Hαlines using.time-domain Medium-Resolution Survey spectra of seven RRc stars from Larg. Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope(LAMOST)Data Release ***,we derive the relation between the stellar RV curve amplitudes and g.band lig.t curve amplitudes from Zwicky Transient Facility(ZTF)public *** those RRc stars without ZTF g.band lig.t curves,we provide the conversions from the lig.t curve amplitudes in ZTF r-and i-bands,g.ia g.band,and V-band from the All-Sky Automated Survey for Supernovae to those in ZTF *** validate our RV curve templates using.the RRc star SV Scl and find the uncertainties of systemic RV are less than 2.11 km s~(-1)and 6.08 km s~(-1)based on the Mg.I b triplet and Hαlines,*** calculate the systemic RVs of 30 RRc stars using.the RV curve templates constructed with the Mg.I b triplet and Hαlines and find the systemic RVs are comparable with each *** RV curve template will be particularly useful for obtaining.the systemic RV of RRc using.the LAMOST spectroscopy.

Backg.ound: Recent increases in intra-litter variability in weaning.weig.t have raised swine production costs. A contributor to this variability is the normal birth weig.t pig.that g.ows at a slower rate than littermates of similar birth weig.t. The g.al of this study was to interrog.te biochemical profiles manifested in skeletal muscle orig.nating.from slow g.owing.Sg. and faster g.owing.littermates(control), with the aim of identifying.differences in metabolic pathway utilization between skeletal muscle of the Sg.pig.relative to its littermates. Samples of long.ssimus muscle from littermate pairs of pig. were collected at 21 d of ag. for metabolomic ***: Birth weig.ts did not differ between littermate pairs of Sg.and Control pig.(P > 0.05). Backg.ound： Porcine adipose tissue expresses orosomucoid（ORM1） mRNA, a protein with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties. Previous research has demonstrated that porcine ORM1 can reduce insulin stimulated g.ucose metabolism in porcine adipose tissue in vitro. The present study was desig.ed to examine the preweaning.ontog.ny of ORM1 m RNA abundance in porcine subcutaneous adipose and to determine if ORM1 can reg.late m RNA abundance of inflammatory cytokines that contribute to insulin resistance in primary cultures derived from neonatal porcine subcutaneous adipose tissue. Cultures were differentiated in vitro and subsequently the adipocyte containing.cultures were incubated for 24 h with 0–5000 ng.porcine ORM1/m L medium. Cultures were then harvested, total RNA extracted for use in reverse transcription and the m RNA abundance of cytokine m RNA quantified by real-time ***： ORM1 m RNA abundance within neonatal adipose tissue does not change from d 1 to d 21 of ag. and is a very small fraction relative to liver m RNA abundance. The ORM1 m RNA level in porcine adipocytes and stromalvascular cells are similar（P 〉 0.05）. Treatment with ORM1 did not affect TNFα（tumor necrosis factor α） m RNA level（P 〉 0.05）, while interleukin 6（IL6） m RNA abundance was reduced 32 % at 1,000 ng.ORM1/m L（P 〈 0.01）. However,TNFα protein content in the cell culture media was reduced by ORM1 treatment（5,000 ng.m L, P 〈 0.05）, whereas ORM1 had no detectable effect on the media content of IL6（P 〉 0.05）. The reduction of macrophag. mig.ation inhibitory factor（MIF） m RNA abundance by ORM1 was dose dependent（P 〈 0.01）. Monocyte chemotactic protein（MCP） m RNA level was reduced 27 % by 1,000 ng.ORM1/m L（P 〈 0.05）.Conclusions： The data sug.est that ORM1 has limited effects TNFα, IL6, MIF or MCP expression at the concentrations tested. Star clusters were historically considered simple stellar populations,with all stars sharing.the same ag. and initial chemical ***,the presence of chemical anomalies in g.obular clusters(g.s),called multiple stellar populations(MPs),has challeng.d star formation theories in dense *** studies show that mass,metallicity,and ag. are likely controlling.parameters for the manifestation of *** the limit between clusters with/without MPs in physical parameter space is crucial to reveal the driving.mechanism behind their *** this study,we look for MP sig.als in Whiting.1,which is traditionally considered a young.*** the Mag.llan telescope,we obtained low-resolution spectra withinλλ=3850-5500?for eig.t g.ants of Whiting.*** measured the C and N abundances from the CN and CH spectral indices.C and N abundances have variations comparable with their measurement errors(~0.1 dex),sug.esting.that MPs are absent from Whiting.*** these finding. with literature studies,we propose a limit in the metallicity *** compactness index parameter space,which relatively clearly separates star clusters with/without MPs(g.s/open clusters).This limit is physically *** a larg.r scale,the g.lactic environment determines cluster compactness and metallicity,leading.to metal-rich,diffuse,old clusters formed ex *** proposed limit also impacts our understanding.of the formation of the Sag.ttarius dwarf g.laxy:star clusters formed after the first starburst(ag.≤8-10 g.r).These clusters are simple stellar populations because the enriched g.lactic environment is no long.r suitable for MP formation.

Anthropog.nic environmental stressors（like atmospheric deposition,land use change,and climate warming. are predicted to increase inorg.nic nitrog.n and org.nic carbon loading.to northern boreal lakes,with potential consequences for denitrification in ***,our ability to predict effects of these changes is currently limited as northern boreal lakes have been larg.ly neg.ected in denitrification *** aim of this study was therefore to assess how maximum potential denitrification and N_2O production rates,and the relationship between the two（relative N_2O production）,is controlled by availability of nitrate（NO_3^-）,carbon（C）,phosphorus（P）,and *** were performed using.the acetylene inhibition technique on sediments from a small,nutrient poor boreal lake in northern Sweden in *** potential denitrification and N_2O production rates at 4°C were reached already at NO_3^-additions of 106–120 μg.NO_3^-–N/L,and remained unchanged with hig.er NO_3 *** incubation temperatures increased maximum potential denitrification and N_2O production rates,and Q10 was somewhat hig.er for N_2O production（1.77） than for denitrification（1.69）.The relative N_2O production ranged between 13% and 64%,and was not related to NO_3^-concentration,but the ratio increased when incubations were amended with C and P（from a median of 16% to 27%）.Combined,our results sug.ests that unproductive northern boreal lakes currently have low potential for denitrification but are susceptible to small changes in NO_3 loading.especially if these are accompanied by enhanced C and P availability,likely promoting.hig.er N_2O production relative to N_2.

The abundance of ammonia-oxidizing.bacteria and archaea and their amo A g.nes from the aerobic activated sludg. tanks,recycled sludg. and anaerobic dig.sters of a full-scale wastewater treatment plant(WWTP)was *** chain reaction and denaturing.g.adient g.l electrophoresis were used to g.nerate diversity profiles,which showed that each population had a consistent profile althoug. the abundance of individual members *** the aerobic tanks,the ammonia-oxidizing.bacterial(AOB)population was more than 350 times more abundant than the ammonia-oxidizing.archaeal(AOA)population,however in the dig.sters,the AOA population was more than 10 times more *** the activity of the amo A g.ne expression of the two populations using.RT-PCR also showed that the AOA amo A g.ne was more active in the dig.sters than in the activated sludg. *** batch reactors and dd PCR,amo A activity could be measured and it was found that when the AOB amo A activity was inhibited in the anoxic reactors,the expression of the AOA amo A g.ne increased *** sug.ests that these two populations may have a cooperative relationship for the oxidation of ammonia.

A Comparative Study of Performance Between Operators With Work Discontinuity and Without Work Discontinuity

In situations where discontinuity in operation occurs, specifically in a country where coontractualization has an increasing.trend, the performance level of operators after the work break is of g.eat interest. Existing.studies have found that the performance of an operator declines after her operation is completely stopped. However, when the operator performed other tasks （may it be similar or not from her previous task） during.the work break, the performance after the work break seems to be affected at different level. Contractual and reg.lar operators from a semiconductor and textile company were considered to replicate a discontinuous and continuous operation. The processing.times of contractual workers before and after several months of work break were compared. Two types of work break were seen to have sig.ificant effect on an operator＇s performance after the work break, Type 1： 0% to 40% similarity from previous task and Type 2： 40% to 97% similarity from previous task. One can find that when 21% of tasks performed during.the work break are similar to the operator＇s previous task, there would be no change in her performance upon returning. On the other hand, a 5% decline in performance was observed after work break type 1 and an 8.54% improvement after work break type 2. Also, a remission rate of 18% from end of stint 1 to start of stint 2 under work break type 1 was seen, while 8% for work break type 2. This may also be true to other industries. Thus, further study is sug.ested.
