As a disruptive technology,the blockchain is continuously finding novel application contexts,bringing new opportunities and radical *** this paper,we use blockchain as a communication infrastructure to support multi-party business *** particular,through smart contracts specifically generated by the mentioned business process,it is possible to derive a trustable infrastructure enabling the interaction among ***,the emergence of different blockchain technologies,satisfying different characteristics,gives the possibility to support the same business process dealing with different non-functional *** this paper,we propose a novel engineering methodology supported by a practical framework called *** permits to derive,using a model-driven strategy,a blockchain-based infrastructure,that can be deployed over a specific blockchain technology(e.g.,Ethereum or Hyperledger Fabric).The objective is to permit the single definition and multiple deployments of the business process,to deliver the same functionalities,but satisfying different nonfunctional *** such a way,organisations willing to cooperate can select the multi-party business process and the blockchain technology they would like to use to satisfy their *** Multi-Chain,they will be able to automatically derive from a Business Process Modelling Notation(BPMN)choreography diagram a blockchain infrastructure ready to be *** overcomes the need to get acquainted with many details of the specific technology.

An overview of aqueous polymerizations, which include emulsion, miniemulsion and suspension polymerizations, under stable free radical polymerization (SFRP) conditions is presented. The success of miniemulsion and suspension SFRP polymerizations is contrasted with the difficulties associated with obtaining a stable emulsion polymerization. A recently developed unique microprecipitation technique is referenced as a means of making submicron sized particles that can be used to achieve a stable emulsion SFRP process.

Hot recycling of reclaimed asphalt pavement(RAP)from replacement of deteriorated asphalt pavements is a widespread technique,and able to ensure clear economic and environmental *** this reason,paving industries,agencies and researchers are spending significant efforts in order to maximize such advantages by increasing the amount of RAP within new asphalt ***,adequate performance of recycled mixtures must be guaranteed despite the re-use of high amounts of RAP which involves the presence of aged,oxidized and stiffened *** this perspective,the present study aimed at evaluating the rheological properties at mid-service and high-service temperatures of bituminous blends composed by 40%of virgin binder and 60%of aged rejuvenated bitumen(simulating the aged hard bitumen coming from the RAP).Such proportion was selected to represent a high recycling rate of RAP(about 60%of the total weight of aggregates,RAP included).A chemical commercial additive at the liquid state was selected as rejuvenator;it was dosed at the optimum content based on empirical and rheological preliminary *** performance of the recycled blend was then compared to that of a virgin reference *** shear rheometer tests were carried out to determine the master curves and the failure characteristics(at mid and high service temperatures)of the selected *** effect of aging(related to the durability over the material lifetime)was also studied analyzing binders’responses in unaged,shortterm and long-term aged ***,experimental findings demonstrated the efficacy of the rejuvenation of recycled binders containing very high amount of aged bitumen.

The immune checkpoints,cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 4(CTLA-4) and programmed cell death protein-1/ligand-1(PD-1/PD-L1) are vital contributors to immune resulation and *** immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs) have revolutionized cancer therapy;however,they come with the cost of immune related adverse events involving multiple organs such as the *** to its constant expo sure to foreign antigens,the liver has evolved a high capacity for immune tolerance,therefore,blockade of the immune checkpoints can result in aberrant immune activation affecting the liver in up to 20% of patients depending on the agent(s) used and underlying *** type of hepatotoxicity is termed immune mediated liver injury from checkpoint inhibitors(ILICI) and is more common when CTLA4 and PD-1/PDL1 are used in *** underlying mechanisms of this unique type of hepatotoxicity are not fully understood;however,the contribution of CD8^(+) cytotoxic T lymphocytes,various CD4^(+) T cells populations,cytokines,and the secondary activation of the innate immune system leading to liver injury have all been *** review summarizes our current understanding of the underlying mechanisms of liver injury in immunotherapy using animal models of ILICI and available patient data from clinical studies.

Many data sets contain temporal records which span a long period of time; each record is associated with a time stamp and describes some aspects of a real-world en- tity at a particular time （e.g., author information in DBLP）. In such cases, we often wish to identify records that describe the same entity over time and so be able to perform interest- ing longitudinal data analysis. However, existing record link- age techniques ignore temporal information and fall short for temporal data. This article studies linking temporal records. First, we ap- ply time decay to capture the effect of elapsed time on entity value evolution. Second, instead of comparing each pair of records locally, we propose clustering methods that consider the time order of the records and make global decisions. Ex- perimental results show that our algorithms significantly out- perform traditional linkage methods on various temporal data sets.

Many-body perturbation theory methods,such as the G0W0 approximation,are able to accurately predict quasiparticle(QP)properties of several classes of ***,the calculation of the QP band structure of two-dimensional(2D)semiconductors is known to require a very dense BZ sampling,due to the sharp q-dependence of the dielectric matrix in the long-wavelength limit(q→0).In this work,we show how the convergence of the QP corrections of 2D semiconductors with respect to the BZ sampling can be drastically improved,by combining a Monte Carlo integration with an interpolation scheme able to represent the screened potential between the calculated grid *** method has been validated by computing the band gap of three different prototype monolayer materials:a transition metal dichalcogenide(MoS2),a wide band gap insulator(hBN)and an anisotropic semiconductor(phosphorene).The proposed scheme shows that the convergence of the gap for these three materials up to 50meV is achieved by using k-point grids comparable to those needed by DFT calculations,while keeping the grid uniform.

Leibnitzia comprises six species of perennial herbs that are adapted to high elevation conditions and is one of only two Asteraceae genera known to have an exclusively disjunct distribution spanning central to eastern Asia and North *** phylogenetic analysis of Leibnitzia and other Gerbera-complex members indicates that Leibnitzia is monophyletic,which is in contrast with our expectation that the American Leibnitzia species L. lyrata and *** would be more closely related to another American member of the Gerbera-complex,namely *** area reconstructions show that the historical biogeography of the Gerbera-complex mirrors that of the entire Asteraceae,with early diverging lineages located in South America that were followed by transfers to Africa and Eurasia and,most recently,to North *** transfer of Leibnitzia appears to have been directed from Asia to North *** calibrations of nuclear(ribosomal DNA internal transcribed spacer region)and chloroplast(trnL-rpl32 intron)DNA sequence data using relaxed clock methods and either mean rate or fossil-based priors unanimously support Miocene and younger divergence times for Gerbera-complex *** ages are not consistent with most Gondwanan vicariance episodes and,thus,the global distribution of Gerbera-complex members must be explained in large part by long-distance *** species of Leibnitzia are estimated to have diverged from their Asian ancestor during the Quaternary(ca.2 mya)and either migrated overland to North America via Beringia and retreated southwards along high elevation corridors to their present location in southwestern North America or were dispersed long distance.

Diagenetic signatures in the deltaic and fluvial-estuarine Messinian sandstone reservoirs in the Nile Delta as a tool for high-resolution stratigraphic correlations

The current study utilizes a range of diagenetic fingerprints to differentiate between sandstone facies deposited in the Nile Delta before and during the Messinian salinity crisis(MSC), which is normally a challenging task considering the complex bio-and lithostratigraphic subdivisions of Messinian rock units. Subaerial exposure of the pre-MSC(Qawasim deltaic sandstone), during drawdown of the Mediterranean Sea at the time of the MSC, triggered pervasive dissolution of unstable rock fragments, kaolinization of feldspar, and meteoric dolomitization of carbonate. This was followed by mesogenetic calcite cementation and kaolinite transformation into dickite in deeply buried Qawasim sandstone. Comparatively, the Abu Madi estuarine facies, deposited during transgression after drawdown related to the MSC,is characterized by eogenetic iron(Fe)-calcite, glauconite, and pyrite(averages of 14.5%, 6%, and 2%,respectively). This facies transition is marked by abundance of mature glauconite(with potassium oxide(K2O) at about 8%) whose content abates upward from the transgression surface. Moreover, the compositional variability of the Abu Madi sandstone gave rise to multiple diagenetic trajectories that resulted in chlorite formation presumably following smectite and kaolinite. Listed diagenetic variations in the studied Messinian sandstone resulted from a complex interplay between rocks’ compositional,depositional, and burial attributes, ultimately serving as a basis for high-resolution stratigraphic correlation in continental and marginal marine settings with poor biostratigraphic controls.
