Grayscale structured surfaces with nanometer-scale features are used in a growing number of applications in optics and *** scanning probe lithography achieves a lateral resolution below 10 nm and a vertical resolution below 1 nm,but its maximum depth in polymers is ***,we present an innovative combination of nanowriting in thermal resist and plasma dry etching with substrate cooling,which achieves up to 10-fold amplification of polymer nanopatterns into SiO_(2) without proportionally increasing surface *** nanopatterns in SiO_(2) with 400 nm pitch and 150 nm depth are fabricated free of shape distortion after dry *** exemplify the possible applications of the proposed method,grayscale dielectric nanostructures are used for scalable manufacturing through nanoimprint lithography and for strain nanoengineering of 2D *** a method for aspect ratio amplification and smooth grayscale nanopatterning has the potential to find application in the fabrication of photonic and nanoelectronic devices.

High-quality and large-scale growth of monolayer molybdenum disulfide(MoS2)has caught intensive attention because of its potential in many applications due to unique electronic ***,we report the wafer-scale growth of high-quality mono layer MoS2 on singlecrystalline sapphire and also on SiO2 substrates by a facile metal-organic chemical vapor deposit!on(MOCVD)*** to growth,an aqueous solution of sodium molybdate(Na2MoO4)is spun onto the substrates as the molybdenum precursor and diethyl sulfide((C2H5)2S)is used as the sulfur precursor duri ng the *** grown MoS2 films exhibit crystal I i nity,good electrical performa nee(electro n mobility of 22 cm2·V^-1·s^-1)and structural continuity maintained over the entire *** sapphire substrates are reusable for subsequent *** same method is applied for the synthesis of tungsten disulfide(WS2).Our work provides a facile,reproducible and cost-efficient method for the scalable fabricati on of high-quality mono layer MoS2 for versatile applicati ons,such as electro nic and optoelectr onic devices as well as the membranes for desalination and power generation.

Palynostratigraphy and Paleoenvironment of Bukit Tigapuluh Area in the Jambi Subbasin from Oligocene to Miocene

The Oligocene-Miocene trajectory exposed at the Lubuk Lawas and Lubuk Bernai Stratigraphic Tracks in Bukit Tigapuluh, Jambi Subbasin, Indonesia, archives remnants of equatorial vegetation during extreme global warming and near the beginning of the East Java-Eurasia microcontinent collision, and was carried out using mapping surface analysis, petrological analysis, sedimentology, stratigraphy and palinology. The rock units were deposited during one sedimentation phase, that is the continental deposition phase, which consists of conglomerates, gravel sandstones and sandstones that fill the basin followed by transgressive deposits associated with the deepening of the basin environment. Three palynozones Meyeripollis naharkotensis (Oligocene), Florschuetzia trilobata (Early Miocene) and Florschuetzia meridionalis (Middle Miocene) were identified stratigraphically on the basis of these pollen. The rock layers are deposits from the Early Oligocene to Middle Miocene from bottom to top. The depositional environment changed over time, passing from a narrow, steep-sided tectonic basin, during the Early to Late Oligocene, followed by a lacustrine basin to a palustine with oceanic influence, as a result of distensive E-W movement between the Jambi Fault and the Sunda Fault in the Late Oligocene to the Middle Miocene. Occurrence of taxonomically highly diverse angiosperm pollen in all three palynozones attests to an extremely rich inland and nearshore tropical flora under a strong seasonal rainfall regime. The climate remained warm and became increasingly humid towards the end of the Miocene. The nature of the environment is related to the dynamics of the opening of the basin opening.

Comparison of long-term outcome between patients aged 〈 65 years vs. ≥ 65 years after atrial fibrillation ablation

Background Atrial fibrillation （AF） is the most frequent arrhythmia, and its prevalence is increasing with aging. We aimed to com-pare the long-term outcome data of patients 〈 65 years vs.≥ 65 years who underwent catheter ablation （CA） for drug-refractory AF. MethodsConsecutive patients with primary pulmonary vein isolation performed between March 2001 and December 2011, and those who completeda five-year of follow-up were divided into two groups： patients aged 〈 65 years into group 1, and patients aged ≥ 65 into group 2. Long-termoutcome data concerning mortality, thromboembolic events （TE） and success rates were compared between these groups. Results A totalnumber of 390 patients were included, group 1 contained 310 patients, and 80 patients in group 2. In group 2, patients had more often impairedrenal function （P 〈 0.001） and thyroid disease （P = 0.047）. A total of fifteen patients died during the 6.63 ± 2.1 years of follow-up, with a sig-nificantly higher incidence in the older group （8/80 vs. 7/310 patients, P = 0.004）. The majority of fatal outcome was due to cancerous dis-eases in both groups. No difference was observed concerning the long-term TE rate （12/310 vs. 4/80 patients, P = 0.75）. Rhythm controlfailed in 25.9% of the patients, with no difference between the groups： 26.4% in group 1 vs. 23.7% in group 2 （P = 0,67）, ConclusionsDespite growing prevalence of AF in aging population, the elderly patients are underrepresented in CA procedures. Similar clinical successand TE complication rate are observed between the age-groups. Our data suggest more liberal criteria might be applied while selecting pa-tients for AF ablation.

Relation of the IGF/IGF1R system to autophagy in colitis and colorectal cancer

Metabolic syndrome(Met S), as a chronic inflammatory disorder has a potential role in the development of inflammatory and cancerous complications of the colonic tissue. The interaction of DNA damage and inflammation is affected by the insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor(IGF1 R) signaling pathway. The IGF1 R pathway has been reported to regulate autophagy, as well, but sometimes through a bidirectional context. Targeting the IGF1 R-autophagy crosstalk could represent a promising strategy for the development of new antiinflammatory and anticancer therapies, and may help for subjects suffering from Met S who are at increased risk of colorectal cancer. However, therapeutic responses to targeted therapies are often shortlived, since a signaling crosstalk of IGF1 R with other receptor tyrosine kinases or autophagy exists, leading to acquired cellular resistance to therapy. From a pharmacological point of view, it is attractive to speculate that synergistic benefits could be achieved by inhibition of one of the key effectors of the IGF1 R pathway, in parallel with the pharmacological stimulation of the autophagy machinery, but cautiousness is also required, because pharmacologic IGF1 R modulation can initiate additional, sometimes unfavorable biologic effects.

Feasibility study applied to mapping tidal effects in the Pannonian basin--An effort to check location dependencies atμGal level

This paper summarizes the main instrumental and methodological points of the tidal research which was performed in the framework of the National Scientific Research Fund Project K101603. Since the project is still running the tidal analysis results published here are only preliminary. Unmodelled tidal effects have been highlighted in some recent absolute gravity measurements carried out in the Pannonian basin resulting in a periodic modulation exceeding the typical standard deviations （±1microGal） of the drop sets. Since the most dominant source of the daily gravity variation is the bulk tidal effect, the goal of the project is to check its location dependency at BGal level. Unfortunately Hungary has had no dedicated instrumentation, so an effort was made to make the available LaCoste- Romberg spring G meters capable for continuous recording. As a reference instrument the GWR SG025 operated in the Conrad Observatory, Austria was also used and in the mean time of the project, a Scintrex CG-5 became also available, Eventually 6 instruments at 5 different locations were operated for 3 9 months mainly in co-located configuration. Although many experiments （moving mass calibrations） were done to determine the scale factors and scale functions of the instruments, the direct comparison of the tidal parameters obtained from the observations is still questionable. Therefore the ratio of the delta factors of O1 and M2 tidal constituents was investigated supposing that M2 is much more influenced by the ocean loading effect than O1. The slight detected increase of δ（O1 ）/δ（M2）（≈0.2%） toward east does not contradict to theory. This result has to be validated in the near future by analyzing available ocean loading models.
