目前,中国是墨西哥第三大贸易伙伴,墨西哥是中国在拉丁美洲第二大贸易伙伴。因为墨西哥从中国进口量远远高于墨西哥对中国的出口,所以许多经济学家研究了他们之间的贸易关系。2017年墨西哥对中国的出口额为67亿美元,同年墨西哥从中国进口额为741亿美元,这意味着贸易收支赤字为674亿美元,而这些进口数据中的85%是墨西哥从中国进口的中间产品,即墨西哥出口产品的组成部分。根据以上所述,可以得出一个共识,即政府必须纠正贸易平衡中的大量赤字。本文首先介绍了国际收支的相关概念,意义、结构和顺差与逆差理念,阐述了影响国际收支的诸多因素还总结国际收支主要调节理论;其次对墨西哥与中国的贸易收支进行分析,从进出口产品的结构,行业现状,以及国际贸易合作角度来探讨两国国际收支逆差及其原因;然后,根据马歇尔-勒纳条件,如果两国家的进出口弹性大于一,那货币实际贬值将会改善贸易余额,因为面对贬值,实际汇率增加,出口价格下降,从而需求增加,国内进口需求降低。这个条件得到满足意味着实际汇率的贬值会带来国家竞争力提高并导致贸易收支改善,所以本文通过对墨西哥进出口弹性的验证,认为本币贬值可以改善贸易收支;最后从双边贸易关系、墨中进出口结构和适当的货币贬值那些角度提出了改善墨西哥与中国贸易收支的具体对策。

This paper presents the implementation of two multicriteria optimization methods based on different approaches, namely, Rough Set Method (RSM) and Net Flow Method (NFM), to the manufacture by reactive extrusion of linear thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs), appropriate for medical applications. A preliminary study allowed determining the process operating conditions for which the polymerization time and the average residence time of the reactants in the extruder are of the same order of magnitude. Prior to the optimization, a neural network model able to predict with acceptable accuracy the effect of the operating conditions on the output process variables, was constructed and validated. This model was then used to determine, using Pareto’s concept, a set of non-dominated solutions constituting Pareto’s domain. These solutions were then ranked according to the preferences of a decision maker using NFM and RSM. This allowed providing the 10% highest ranked solutions of Pareto’s domain and proposing a set of optimal operating conditions for the production, with the lowest energy consumption, of TPUs with targeted properties and high purity. Experimental validation runs carried out under similar operating conditions gave rise to criteria values confirming the su- perior performance of NFM, without rejecting, at the same time, the values obtained using RSM.

The HA/β-TCP biphasic bioceramics stand out on researches in different areas of biomedical applications. These bioceramics with microporous microstructures also stand out in biomedical applications on controlled drug release. This study aimed at the synthesis of the biphasic HA/β-TCP powder, and at the elaboration and characterization of the microporous biphasic HA/β-TCP granular biomaterial. The microporous granular material was elaborated through the process of ceramic powder sieving (200 μm deg;C/2 h, providing the microporous biphasic granular biomaterial. The drug loading in the biomaterial was performed through the high vacuum method. The results here presented are related to the synthesis method and elaboration of the biphasic biomaterial. The results obtained from the drug loading through the high vacuum method conducted the incorporation of the drug onto the surface and into the microporous granular biomaterial.

At present,Alzheimer’s disease(AD)and type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)are two highly prevalent disorders worldwide,especially among elderly individuals.T2DM appears to be associated with cognitive dysfunction,with a higher risk of developing neurocognitive disorders,including *** diseases have been observed to share various pathophysiological mechanisms,including alterations in insulin signaling,defects in glucose transporters(GLUTs),and mitochondrial dysfunctions in the ***,the aim of this review is to summarize the current knowledge regarding the molecular mechanisms implicated in the association of these pathologies as well as recent therapeutic *** this context,the hyperphosphorylation of tau and the formation of neurofibrillary tangles have been associated with the dysfunction of the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase and mitogen-activated protein kinase pathways in the nervous tissues as well as the decrease in the expression of GLUT-1 and GLUT-3 in the different areas of the brain,increase in reactive oxygen species,and production of mitochondrial alterations that occur in *** findings have contributed to the implementation of overlapping pharmacological interventions based on the use of insulin and antidiabetic drugs,or,more recently,azeliragon,amylin,among others,which have shown possible beneficial effects in diabetic patients diagnosed with AD.

Influence of Water Content on the Quality of Pigeonpea Seeds

The species Cajanus cajan L. where pigeonpea is from presents a harvest potential in tropical regions for it is used as human and animal feed, besides being used as green fertilizer. However, the harvest area of this Fabaceae is still insignificant, due to especially the lack of quality seeds. In this context, it is possible to affirm that drying and store are portrayed as important steps for obtaining superior quality seeds. The aim of this study is to evaluate the physiologic quality of dwarf pigeonpea seeds, with different water content during storage. A factorial scheme 3 × 6 was adopted in the delimitation completely randomized, with four replications. Treatments were constituted by the combination of lots of seeds containing three different water contents (11%, 14% and 16%), submitted to a 10-month storage period, with evaluations every two months (0, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10). Seeds were stocked in a bag type kraft under normal lab conditions, that is, no control. Physiologic quality of the seeds was evaluated through the following tests: Germination Pattern Test—GPT, first count of germination, accelerated aging and electric conductivity. It can be concluded that pigeonpea with hard seeds containing water content at 11% existing superior physiologic quality throughout the 10-month storage, under no controlled condition, certainly promoted by the less intense breathing from the reserves cumulated in the seed lot. Pigeonpea seeds storage with water content superior to 14% promotes a sharp decrease of physiologic quality, due to an increase in metabolic activity.

Large-scale hybrid power plants, composed of two or more generation sources and with the participation of energy storage systems, have driven important electricity Market design regulation discussions worldwide. Regulatory framework ought to be adapted to support technical particularities of these new generation arranges. This paper presents an assessment of the main requirements to be met by Market design to enable hybrid power plants by means of assertive market incentives. Assessing regulatory adjustments promoted in Australia, United States, India, China, and Brazil, emphasizing the latter one, the authors presents a case study by applying specific computational simulation and optimization model to a hybrid Hydro-Solar plant, that supports the findings for the necessary evolution needed in the national regulatory framework in order to enable hybrid projects. The evaluation of international experiences indicates that the insertion of hybrid projects is associated with the design of the market they belong to and demand regulatory adjustments so that their attributes can be properly valued for the benefit of all stakeholders, especially for the electricity consumer.

BACKGROUND:Obstructive jaundice is a common condition in advanced digestive *** procedures can improve quality of life and allow patients to attempt a systemic *** anastomosis is still the procedure of choice for patients in many *** a surgical bypass is not possible,biliary drainage can be done by placing endoscopic or transparietal stents,which are less durable methods even when an expandable stent is employed. METHODS:A 47-year-old male with an excellent clinical status and a previous cholecystectomy and an exploratory laparotomy for advanced gastric cancer was referred with obstructive jaundice.A preoperative CT scan showed a dilated bile duct and a small mass at the distal hepatic *** other signs of metastasis were found.A surgical bilioenteric anastomosis was *** surgery,a distal choledochal obstruction and a mesenteric retraction by a lymph node mass prevented the jejunum to ascend for a bilioenteric anastomosis. Surgically,an alternative bilioenteric bypass was performed by means of an ileal loop interposition between the bile duct and the jejunum. RESULT:The recovery of the patient was uneventful and his bilirubin levels normalized after one *** patient was then referred for systemic chemotherapy. CONCLUSIONS:This alternative biliary bypass can be safely and easily performed,and may be a good alternative for patients already referred for surgery because of a better life expectancy and when the jejunum is not an alternative.

Melt Extrusion of Environmentally Friendly Poly(L-lactic acid)/Sodium Metabisulfite Films for Antimicrobial Packaging Applications

Food packaging materials compounded with antimicrobial additives can substantially diminish the incidence of foodborne ***,poly(L-lactic acid)(PLA)films containing sodium metabisulfite(NaM)were produced by melt extrusion as an attempt to develop a new biodegradable material with antimicrobial properties for *** cycle assessment(LCA)simulations revealed that the environmental footprints of the PLA film did not change upon NaM addition,and that NaM is more eco-friendly than silver *** PLA/NaM films with NaM content varying from 0.5 to 5.0 wt.%were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),and optical and mechanical properties *** optical properties were sustained after the addition of NaM,but high NaM contents degraded the light transparence of the PLA matrix at some *** thermal stability and tensile properties of the PLA film decreased proportionally to the NaM content,while no changes were observed on Tg,Tm and Xc,as determined by *** diffusion tests revealed that the PLA/NaM films had no antimicrobial activity on Saccharomyces cerevisiae at 35°C,which was related to the limited migration of NaM from the glassy PLA *** biodegradable PLA films compounded with NaM through melt extrusion display adequate optical,thermal,and mechanical properties to cover most food packaging applications,representing an essential step toward the development of eco-friendly packaging materials that can potentially exhibit an antimicrobially active surface.
