Theoretical insights into thermal transport and structural stability mechanisms of triaxial compressed methane hydrate

The heat transfer and stability of methane hydrate in reservoirs have a direct impact on the drilling and production efficiency of hydrate resources,especially in complex stress environments caused by formation *** this study,we investigated the thermal transport and structural stability of methane hydrate under triaxial compression using molecular dynamics *** results suggest that the thermal conductivity of methane hydrate increases with increasing compression *** phonon transport mechanisms were identified as factors enhancing thermal *** low compressive strains,a low-frequency phonon transport channel was established due to the overlap of phonon vibration peaks between methane and water *** high compressive strains,the filling of larger phonon bandgaps facilitated the opening of more phonon transport ***,we found that a strain of􀀀0.04 is a watershed point,where methane hydrate transitions from stable to ***,a strain of􀀀0.06 marks the threshold at which the diffusion capacities of methane and water molecules are at their *** a higher strain of􀀀0.08,the increased volume compression reduces the available space,limiting the diffusion ability of water and methane molecules within the *** synergistic effect of the strong diffusion ability and high probability of collision between atoms increases the thermal conductivity of hydrates during the unstable period compared to the stable *** findings offer valuable theoretical insights into the thermal conductivity and stability of methane hydrates in reservoir stress environments.

One-year clinical efficacy evaluation of selective corneal wavefront aberration-guided FS-LASIK correction in patients with high myopia

Phenotypic Classification of Well-Differentiated Gastric Adenocarcinoma

Objective： To investigate the genotypes of well-differentiated non-cardiac gastric adenocarcinoma and their clinicopathological significance. Methods： Sixty-four cases of well-differentiated non-cardiac gastric adenocarcinoma were included in this study. The expressions of intestinal phenotypic markers including CDX2, MUC2, li-cadherin, CD10, Hepatocyte（Hep） and Villin, and gastric phenotypic markers including MUC5AC and pS2 were detected immunohistochemically. Based on the expressions of phenotypic markers, 64 cases can be divided into four phenotypes. Cases only expressing intestinal phenotypic markers were classified as intestinal phenotype; cases only expressing gastric phenotypic markers as gastric phenotype; cases expressing both intestinal and gastric phenotypic markers as gastrointestinal phenotype; and cases expressing neither intestinal nor gastric phenotypic marker as null phenotype. The association of phenotype and clinic-pathological parameters was analyzed. We also detected the expressions of markers related to the development and progression of cancer, including Rb, P53, c-Met, MIF, TGF-β-RII, β-catenin, CD44v6 and E-cadherin. Results： Of 64 cases, 33（51.6%） were intestinal type, 3（4.7%） were gastric type, 25（39.1%） were gastrointestinal type and 3（4.7%） were null type. Fifty-eight cases were either intestinal or gastrointestinal type, which accounted for 90.6% of all the cases. In addition, there was an association between phenotype and biological behaviors （invasion or metastasis）. The biological behaviors of intestinal and gastrointestinal type were better than gastric type. Compared with intestinal, gastric and gastrointestinal types, the biological behaviors of null type were the most aggressive. The biological behaviors of gastric carcinoma tended to be better as the number of expression of intestinal markers increased. In response to thermal runaway(TR) of electric vehicles, recent attention has been focused on mitigation strategies such as efficient heat dredging in battery thermal management. Thermal management with particular focus on battery cooling has been becoming increasingly significant. TR usually happened when an electric vehicle is unpowered and charged. In this state, traditional active battery cooling schemes are disabled, which can easily lead to dangerous incidents due to loss of cooling ability, and advanced passive cooling strategies are therefore gaining importance. Herein, we developed an enhanced thermal radiation material, consisting of ～1 μm thick multilayered nano-sheet graphene film coated upon the heat dissipation surface, thereby enhancing thermal radiation in the nanoscale. The surface was characterized on the nanoscale, and tested in a battery-cooling *** found that the graphene-based coating's spectral emissivity is between 91 % and 95 % in the mid-infrared region, and thermal experiments consequently illustrated that graphene-based radiative cooling yielded up to15.1 % temperature reduction when compared to the uncoated analogue. Using the novel graphene surface to augment a heat pipe, the temperature reduction can be further enlarged to 25.6 %. The new material may contribute to transportation safety, global warming mitigation and carbon neutralization.

Phenotypic classification of gastric signet ring cell carcinoma and its relationship with clinicopathologic parameters and prognosis

AIM: To distinguish subtypes of gastric signet ring cell (SRC) carcinoma by investigating the expression of gastric and intestinal phenotypic markers, and to study the significance of phenotypic classification in predicting tumor progression and outcome. METHODS: Immunohistochemistry was performed in 66 cases of SRC carcinoma with MUC2, VILliN, CDX2, li-cadherin antibodies as intestinal phenotype markers and MUC5AC, HGM, MUC6 antibodies as gastric phenotype markers, and the relationship was analyzed between the phenotypic expression pattern and clinicopathologic parameters, as well as the 3-year survival rate. RESULTS: Expression of intestinal phenotypic markers was positively associated with tumor size, wall invasion, vascular invasion, lymph node metastasis and tumor-node-metastasis (TNM) stage. Cases expressing one or more intestinal markers had a significant lower survival rate than cases expressing none of the intestinal markers. CONCLUSION: The SRC carcinomas expressing intestinal phenotype markers exhibited a high pro-liferative potential, bad biological behaviors and poor prognosis. Examination of phenotype expression may be useful in distinguishing histological type and in predicting the prognosis of gastric SRC carcinoma.

Unilateral moyamoya disease associated with cerebellar arteriovenous malformation： one case report

As a non-atherosclerotic chronic cerebral vasculopathy, moyamoya disease is characterized by progressivesteno-occlusion of the arteries of the circle of Willis with a developed collateral vascular network mainly at the cerebral base. And it is named moyamoya disease because of a characteristic ＂puff-of-smoke＂ angiographic appearance. The steno-occlusive process is typically seen involving bilateral internal carotid arteries at their clinoid portion and/or the proximal portion of the anterior cerebral arteries （ACAs） and/or the middle cerebral arteries （MCAs）. The coexistence of moyamoya disease and arteriovenous malformation （AVM） is thought to be very rare.
