We consider plus-operators in Krein spaces and generated operator linear fractional relations of the following form: . We study some special type of factorization for plus-operators T, among them the following one: T = bU, where b is a lower triangular plus-operator, U is a J-unitary operator. We apply the above factorization to the study of basical properties of relations (1), in particular, convexity and compactness of their images with respect to the weak operator topology. Obtained results we apply to the known Koenigs embedding problem, the Krein-Phillips problem of existing of invariant semidefinite subspaces for some families of plus-operators and to some other fields.

The study of green mass nutritional value of the black poplars euramerican hybrids--Populus euramericana （Dode） Guinier was conducted. The content of fodder units, digestible and crude protein, crude fat, fiber, ash, nitrogen, calcium, phosphorus, carotene and others was studied. The study showed that the leaves had greater nutritional value than stems and branches. The fresh leaves collected from the annual shoots of trees were more nutritious than annual coppice shoots of reproductive plantations but after drying the nutritional value of the materials became similar. Indicators of stems nutritional value were similar to those of wheat straw and those of leaves that were close to the nutritional value of alfalfa. Nutritional value of leafy shoots was intermediate between that of stems and leaves. Young coppice plant material is much easier to harvest than that of mature trees. Minirotation cultivation of poplars allows obtaining significant reserves of both wood and leafing biomass in a short period of time per unit area. The ＂old clones＂ of euramerican hybrids of black poplars are more winter resistant than some southern poplars of Italian breeding. This allows cultivating them not only in places of habitual areas of poplars, but also in more Northern regions.

The cytotoxicity and non-specific cellular uptake of the most popular composition of upconversion nanoparticle （UCNP）, NaYF4：Yb^3＋：Er^3＋, is reported using normal human skin cells, including dermal fibroblasts and immortalized human epidermal linear keratinocytes （HaCaT）. A new hydrophilization reaction of as-synthesized UCNPs based on tetramethylammonium hydroxide （TMAH） enabled evaluation of the intrinsic cytotoxicity of bare UCNPs. The cytotoxicity effects of the UCNP surface-coating and polystyrene host were investigated over the concentration range 62.5-125 μg/mL with 24-h incubation, using a MTT test and optical microscopy. The fibroblast viability was not compromised by UCNPs, whereas the viability of keratinocytes varied from 52% ± 4% to 100% ± 10% than the control group, depending on the surface modification. bare UCNPs reduced the keratinocyte viability to 76% ± 3%, while exhibiting profound non-specific cellular uptake. Hydrophilic poly（D,L-lactide）- and poly（maleic anhydride-alt-l-octadecene）-coated UCNPs were found to be least cytotoxic among the polymer-coated UCNPs, and were readily internalized by human skin cells. Polystyrene microbeads impregnated with UCNPs remained nontoxic. Surprisingly, no correlation was found between UCNP cytotoxicity and the internalization level in cells, although the latter ranged broadly from 0.03% to 59%, benchmarked against 100% uptake level of TMAH-UCNPs.

The historical annual loading to,removal from,and cumulative burden in the Arctic Ocean for β-hexachlorocyclohexane(β-HCH),an isomer comprising 5e12%of technical HCH,is investigated using a mass balance box model from 1945 to *** the 76 years,loading occurred predominantly through ocean currents and river inflow(83%)and only a small portion via atmospheric transport(16%).β-HCH started to accumulate in the Arctic Ocean in the late 1940s,reached a peak of 810 t in 1986,and decreased to 87 t in 2020,when its concentrations in the Arctic water and air were~30 ng m^(-3)and~0.02 pg m^(-3),*** though β-HCH and α-HCH(60e70%of technical HCH)are both the isomers of HCHs with almost identical temporal and spatial emission patterns,these two chemicals have shown different major pathways entering the *** from α-HCH with the long-range atmospheric transport(LRAT)as its major transport pathway,β-HCH reached the Arctic mainly through long-range oceanic transport(LROT).The much higher tendency of β-HCH to partition into the water,mainly due to its much lower Henry's Law Constant than α-HCH,produced an exceptionally strong pathway divergence with β-HCH favoring slow transport in water and α-HCH favoring rapid transport in *** concentration and burden of β-HCH in the Arctic Ocean are also predicted for the year 2050 when only 4.4-5.3 t will remain in the Arctic Ocean under the influence of climate change.

Here the authors critically review the IPCC＇s claim that global warming is ＂very likely＂ caused by human activity： such a description underestimates the likelihood of the warming being due to this mechanism. Next examined are known alternative ＂natural＂ mechanisms which could give rise to the warming if, despite many claims, the man-made explanation was false because of compensation effects （greenhouse gases versus aerosol effects）. Also, a number of difficulties, as yet unresolved, in the human-induced warming explanation are considered.

The report presents a validated strategy of implementation of fast reactors SVbR-100 in nuclear power, which provides putting in operation the reactors using the mastered uranium oxide fuel with postponed reprocessing and changing over to the closed fuel cycle with use of the own spent fuel. by the end of the lifetime, a comparatively high core breeding ratio (~0.84) of reactor SVbR-100 using uranium oxide fuel for operation provides high content of plutonium in the spent nuclear fuel, which could be used in next fuel lifetimes while organizing the closed fuel cycle. That strategy is more economically efficient as the amount of reprocessing in terms of 1 t of plutonium is approximately 10 times less than the corresponding amount of plutonium extracted from the spent nuclear fuel of thermal reactors. Such approach to organization of the fuel cycle will reduce considerably the integral consumption of natural uranium and regarding to this, it will make NPPs based on reactors SVbR-100 competitive with NPPs based on thermal reactors. The report also reveals that in the closed nuclear fuel cycle instead of pile (depleted) uranium, the spent fuel of thermal reactors without separating of uranium, plutonium, minor actinides and fission products can be used as makeup fuel similarly to the DUPIC-technology for reactors CANDU.

An increase in the extremality of natural processes is a consequence of warming, aridization, and desertification. The authors consider the processes of warming, aridization, and desertification to be the parts of a single system and major destabilizing factors of ecological balance. Destabilization is expressed in the growth of natural processes extremality. Ecosystems of Transbaikalia were once characterized by a different natural contrast and amplitude. Warming, aridization and desertification have led to an increase of environmental regimes tensions. This is demonstrated quantitatively by the root-mean-square difference of atmospheric and soil parameters. Quantitative indicators of aridization are estimated using Walter-Gossen climate charts. Permafrost zone response information to the long-term warming is provided as well.
