This work presents a spoken dialog summariza- tion system with HAPPINESS/SUFFERING factor recognition. The semantic content is compressed and classified by factor categories from spoken dialog. The transcription of au- tomatic speech recognition is then processed through Chinese Knowledge and Information Processing segmentation system. The proposed system also adopts the part-of-speech tags to effectively select and rank the keywords. Finally, the HAPPINESS/SUFFERING factor recognition is done by the proposed point-wise mutual information. Compared with the original method, the performance is improved by applying the significant scores of keywords. The experimental results show that the average precision rate for factor recognition in outside test can reach 73.5% which demonstrates the possi- bility and potential of the proposed system.

Given the accelerating development of Internet of things(IoT),a secure and robust authentication mechanism is urgently required as a critical architectural *** IoT has improved the quality of everyday life for numerous people in many *** to the predominantly wireless nature of the IoT,connected devices are more vulnerable to security threats compared to wired *** authentication is thus of utmost importance in terms of security on the *** authentication protocols have been proposed in recent years,but most prior schemes do not provide sufficient security for these wireless *** overcome the limitations of previous schemes,we propose an efficient and lightweight authentication scheme called the Cogent Biometric-Based Authentication Scheme(COBBAS).The proposed scheme is based on biometric data,and uses lightweight operations to enhance the efficiency of the network in terms of time,storage,and battery consumption.A formal security analysis of COBBAS using Burrows–Abadi–Needham logic proves that the proposed protocol provides secure mutual *** security verification using the Automated Validation of Internet Security Protocols and Applications tool shows that the proposed protocol is safe against man-in-the-middle and replay *** security analysis further shows that COBBAS protects wireless sensor networks against several security attacks such as password guessing,impersonation,stolen verifier attacks,denial-of-service attacks,and errors in biometric *** protocol also provides user anonymity,confidentiality,integrity,and biometric recovery in acceptable time with reasonable computational cost.

Evaluating artificial intelligence(AI)systems is crucial for their successful deployment and safe operation in real-world *** assessor meta-learning model has been recently introduced to assess AI system behaviors developed from emergent characteristics of AI systems and their responses on a test *** original approach lacks covering continuous ranges,for example,regression problems,and it produces only the probability of *** this work,to address existing limitations and enhance practical applicability,we propose an assessor feedback mechanism designed to identify and learn from AI system errors,enabling the system to perform the target task more effectively while concurrently correcting its *** empirical analysis demonstrates the efficacy of this ***,we introduce a transition methodology that converts prediction errors into relative success,which is particularly beneficial for regression *** then apply this framework to both neural network and support vector machine models across regression and classification tasks,thoroughly testing its performance on a comprehensive suite of 30 diverse *** findings highlight the robustness and adaptability of the assessor feedback mechanism,showcasing its potential to improve model accuracy and reliability across varied data contexts.

An Investigation on Thermization of Milk in Can Using Computational Fluid Dynamics

Thermal processing of milk is an important unit operation to inactivate the spoilage organism and enzymes and thus increase the storage life of milk, It was very difficult to find out the temperature distribution inside the cans during thermal processing. A Computational Fluid Dynamics （CFD） model was developed for thermization of milk in the can heating at 65℃ for the first time to determine the temperature distribution in the canned milk at stationary position. This developed CFD model was validated with the experimental measurements of temperature. The effects of thermization temperature on milk flow profile （velocity）, milk temperature and viscosity profiles inside the can during thermal process were investigated. Temperature profiles of milk in can at three different planes （i.e. top, middle and bottom plane） were studied. Moreover, thermization unit was calculated by correlating with temperature and it was found that maximum thermization unit was achieved at 540 s of thermal processing of milk in can.

Objective To investigate the pharmacological effect of Nyctanthes arbortristis (NAT) leaf extract in the prevention of lung injury induced by silica particles. Method Lung injury was induced in Swiss mice through inhalation exposure to silica particles (<5m) using a Flow Past Nose Only Inhalation Chamber at the rate of -10 mg/m3 respirable mass for 5 h. Lung bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid collected between 48 and 72 h was subjected to protein profiling by electrophoresis and cytokine evaluation by solid phase sandwich ELISA. Lung histopathology was performed to evaluate lung injury. Results Inhalation of silica increased the level of tumor necrosis factor-a (TNF-a), and of the 66 and 63 kDa peptides in the BAL fluid in comparison to sham-treated control. Pre-treatment of silica exposed mice with NAT leaf extract significantly prevented the accumulation of TNF-a in the BAL fluid, but the 66 and 63 kDa peptides remained unchanged. The extract was also effective in the prevention of silica-induced early fibrogenic reactions like congestion, edema and infiltration of nucleated cells in the interstitial alveolar spaces, and thickening of alveolar septa in mouse lung. Conclusion NAT leaf extract helps in bypassing silica induced initial lung injury in mice.
