Bone biomaterials have been inc.easingly used to rec.nstruc. maxillary atrophic.***,the aim of this study was to evaluate bone rec.nstruc.ion in the maxilla using a homologous c.rtic.-c.nc.llous FFB(lyophilized)graft and verify its *** individuals were inc.uded from 2014 to *** first surgery was performed to install homologous bone bloc.s in the *** period of the sec.nd intervention varied between 5 months and 15 days to 11 months(≈7.93 months).The biopsies were taken from the c.ntral region of the matured graft during the surgery for implant *** patients presented c.inic.l and radiographic.c.nditions for the installation of dental *** was a 100%of survival *** histologic.l assessment showed that the homologous bloc. bone graft was an osteoc.nduc.ive biomaterial,with c.nnec.ive tissue present,and newly formed bone juxtaposed on its *** were bone trabec.lae with osteoc.tes and ac.ive osteoblasts with c.nnec.ive tissue in the mineralization proc.ss;the remodeling proc.ss c.n be found through the reverse lines.A limited foc.s of nec.osis with fibrosis was detec.ed,with small resorption and areas of inflammatory infiltrate,but without c.inic.l *** homologous bloc. bone graft c.n be c.nsidered a feasible option to substitute the autogenous bone graft(gold standard),with predic.able c.inic.l and favorable histologic.l *** patients had a shorter surgic.l period,low morbidity,and an unlimited amount of biomaterial available at an ac.essible c.st.

An entropy-stabilized multic.mponent ultrahigh-temperature c.ramic.UHTc.c.ating,(Ti_(0.25)V_(0.25)Zr_(0.25)Hf_(0.25))B_(2),on a graphite substrate was in-situ sintered by spark plasma sintering(SPs)from c.nstituent transition metal diboride ***(Ti_(0.25)V_(0.25)Zr_(0.25)Hf_(0.25))B_(2) c.ating had a hardness of 31.2±2.1 GPa and resisted 36.9 GPa of stress before delamination,as observed at the *** temperature-dependent thermal properties of the multic.mponent diboride(Ti_(0.25)V_(0.25)Zr_(0.25)Hf_(0.25))B_(2) were obtained by molec.lar dynamic.(MD)simulations driven by a mac.ine learning forc. field(MLFF)trained on density func.ional theory(DFT)*** thermal c.nduc.ivity,density,heat c.pac.ty,and c.effic.ent of thermal expansion obtained by the MD simulations were used in time-dependent thermal stress finite element model(FEM)*** low thermal c.nduc.ivity(c.mponent diboride c.upled with its similar c.effic.ent of thermal expansion to that of graphite indic.ted that stresses of less than 10 GPa were generated at the interfac. at high temperatures,and therefore,the c.ating was mec.anic.lly resistant to the thermal stress induc.d during *** experiments at 220℃ showed that the multic.mponent diboride c.ating was resistant to thermal stresses with no visible c.ac.ing or *** ablation mec.anisms were mec.anic.l denudation and evaporation of B_(2)O_(5) and light V-Ti oxides,whic. c.used a dec.ease in the mass and thic.ness of the c.ating and resulted in mass and linear ablation rates of-0.51 mg·s^(-1) and -1.38μm·s^(-1),respec.ively,after 60 *** findings demonstrated the thermal and mec.anic.l stability of multic.mponent entropy-stabilized diborides as c.atings for c.rbon materials in engineering c.mponents under extreme environments.

The study of the propagation of infec.ious diseases in urban c.nters finds a c.ose c.nnec.ion with their population's soc.al c.arac.eristic. and *** work performs a spatial analysis of dengue c.ses in urban c.nters based on the basic.reproduc.ion numbers,R0,and inc.denc. by planning areas(PAs),as well as their c.rrelations with the Human Development Index(HDI)and the number of *** analyzed dengue epidemic. in 2002 at two Brazilian urban c.nters,Belo Horizonte(BH)and Rio de Janeiro(RJ),using PAs as spatial *** results reveal heterogeneous spatial sc.narios for both c.ties,with very weak c.rrelations between R0 and both the number of trips and the HDI;in BH,the values of R0 show a less spatial heterogeneous pattern than in *** BH,there are moderate c.rrelations between inc.denc. and both the number of trips and the HDI;meanwhile,they weakly c.rrelate for ***,the absenc. of strong c.rrelations between the c.nsidered measures indic.tes that the transmission proc.ss should be treated c.nsidering the c.ty as a whole.
