Dysregulation of G9a,a histone-lysine N-methyltransferase,has been observed in Alzheimer’s disease and has been correlated with increased levels of chronic inflammation and oxidative ***,microRNAs are involved in many biological processes and diseases playing a key role in pathogenesis,especially in multifactorial diseases such as Alzheimer’s ***,our aim has been to provide partial insights into the interconnection between G9a,microRNAs,oxidative stress,and *** better understand the biology of G9a,we compared the global microRNA expression between senescence-accelerated mouse-prone 8(SAMP8)control mice and SAMP8 treated with G9a inhibitor *** found a downregulation of miR-128 after a G9a inhibition treatment,which interestingly binds to the 3′untranslated region(3′-UTR)of peroxisome-proliferator activator receptor γ(PPARG)***,Pparg gene expression levels were higher in the SAMP8 group treated with G9a inhibitor than in the SAMP8 control *** also observed modulation of oxidative stress responses might be mainly driven Pparg after G9a *** confirm these antioxidant effects,we treated primary neuron cell cultures with hydrogen peroxide as an oxidative *** this setting,treatment with G9a inhibitor increases both cell survival and antioxidant ***,up-regulation of PPARγby G9a inhibitor could also increase the expression of genes involved in DNA damage responses and *** addition,we also described that the PPARγ/AMPK axis partially explains the regulation of autophagy markers ***,PPARγ/GADD45αpotentially contributes to enhancing synaptic plasticity and neurogenesis after G9a ***,we propose that pharmacological inhibition of G9a leads to a neuroprotective effect that could be due,at least in part,by the modulation of PPARγ-dependent pathways by miR-128.

目的ZentangleR艺术治疗方法被应用于心理健康相关领域,尚未在边缘型人格障碍患者得到验证。本研究分析边缘型人格障碍患者接受ZentangleR艺术治疗方法的练习体验。方法采用现象学解释方法,对患者进行半结构化访谈。患者均已在西班牙某医院的人格障碍治疗室接受了每个月1次,共6次ZentangleR艺术治疗。本研究中共访谈了15例患者。Smith、Flowers和Larkin方法用于资料分析中的评估。结果根据研究结果,共提炼出3个类别的主题:有耕耘即有收获(参与者报告了注意力、放松、人际关系、与环境互动方面的改善,以及接受和改变的积极体验);众擎易举(患者认可在团体中感觉更好,并建立了相互联系;他们也描述了团体环境对个人行为的影响);画出自己的轨迹(通过绘画方式提供了自我表达和自我认识的媒介,通过情感表达提升了幸福感,提高了创造力,增强了自信心)。结论通过练习ZentangleR,患者可以作出灵活性和适应性等行为反应,通过焦虑管理、冲动控制改善情绪健康,学习应对问题,提高自尊或注意力。心理健康护理在边缘型人格的综合治疗及协同多样化补充性干预措施中发挥着积极作用。

Study of the Conversion of Postconsumer Polystyrene on CeO₂/HZSM-5 Type Materials

The catalytic conversion of polystyrene (PS) was studied in the presence of the materials type HZSM-5, CeO2, 10% CeO2/HZSM-5 and 20% CeO2/HZSM-5, which were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and nitrogen adsorption at 77K. The catalytic tests were performed via thermogravimetric analysis (TG) at heating rates of 5, 10 and 20˚C min−1 in a temperature range from 30˚C to 900˚C. For the tests, a ratio of 30% by mass of each catalytic material mixed with PS was used and the activation energy of the degradation process was determined by the Vyazovkin method. The obtained results showed that the addition of the catalyst to the PS in general reduced its degradation temperature. The 10% CeO2/HZSM-5 catalyst showed greater efficiency, as it resulted in lower activation energy for PS degradation. Thus, the combination of CeO2 with HZSM-5 resulted in materials with potential for application in the catalytic degradation of polystyrene and the results indicate that the production of a composite material can be a good strategy to generate an increase in catalytic activity and a decrease in energy process activation.

Nutritional Screening Tools in Institutionalized People: A Case Study of Using Nutritional Risk Screening (NRS 2002) and Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA)

Nutritional status expresses the physiological and nutritional needs to maintain the composition and adequate functioning of the organism. NRS 2002 and MNA protocols were applied to short-term institutionalized patients in Rio Verde (Brazil). Older adults and people with special needs of all ages, both sexes, regardless of possible pathology they may have, except if it causes contagion, were included, patients duly authorized by the person responsible for the institution and who were able to undergo evaluation. Thirty-eight patients from the institution were evaluated, of which ten were excluded from the research according to pre-established criteria. More than 50% of participants were male, with an overall average age of 63.43 years. The characteristics related to nutritional status by NRS 2002 and MNA showed that the risk of malnutrition and its absence are associated with a wide age range. The MNA presents a more nuanced nutritional risk classification, showing that even 61% of the 96% of participants who would be out of nutrition risk, according to the NRS 2002, are “at risk of malnutrition”. Applying the MNA can demonstrate more conservative results than the NRS 2002.

Hepatocyte nuclear factor 1 alpha(HNF1A),hepatocyte nuclear factor 4 alpha(HNF4A),and forkhead box protein A2(FOXA2) are key transcription factors that regulate a complex gene network in the liver,creating a regulatory transcriptional *** Encode and ChIP-Atlas databases identify the recognition sites of these transcription factors in many glycosyltransferase *** in silico analysis of HNF1A,HNF4A,and FOXA2 binding to the ten candidate glyco-genes studied in this work confirms a significant enrichment of these transcription factors specifically in the *** previous studies identified HNF1A as a master regulator of fucosylation,glycan branching,and galactosylation of plasma ***,we aimed to functionally validate the role of the three transcription factors on downstream glyco-gene transcriptional expression and the possible effect on glycan *** used the state-of-the-art clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats/dead Cas9(CRISPR/dCas9) molecular tool for the downregulation of the HNF1A,HNF4A,and FOXA2 genes in HepG2 cells-a human liver cancer cell *** results show that the downregulation of all three genes individually and in pairs affects the transcriptional activity of many gly co-genes,although downregulation of glyco-genes was not always followed by an unambiguous change in the corresponding glycan *** effect is better seen as an overall change in the total HepG2 N-glycome,primarily due to the extension of biantenna ry *** propose an alternative way to evaluate the N-glycome composition via estimating the overall complexity of the glycome by quantifying the number of monomers in each glycan *** also propose a model showing feedback loops with the mutual activation of HNF1A-FOXA2 and HNF4A-FOXA2 affecting glyco-genes and protein glycosylation in HepG2 cells.

Introduction:Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)may be associated with various skin *** them,figurate erythema(FE)is rare;only a few clinical reports have been ***,we reported an unusual concentric FE lesions and their immunohistochemical profile in a patient with *** presentation:A 52-year-old woman was diagnosed with *** month later,she developed asymptomatic annular erythematous concentric ring lesions on her inner right *** margin of every ring increased in coloration,and the lesions then completely resolved in 2 weeks.A biopsy revealed vasculitis of small vessels,an increase in the fluorescence intensity of CD3 and CD45,and negativity for COVID-19 ***:The results showed an unusual FE that has a clinical mixed type between erythema annulare centrifugum and erythema gyratum repens;the physiopathological mechanism in the FE due to COVID-19 is unknown;one theory involves rapid viral passage into the cutaneous vascular system that triggers an immune and inflammatory *** the results exhibited a negative COVID-19 RNA in the tissue,the CD3^(+)/CD45^(+)lymphocyte infiltration could explain the clinical pattern as a direct inflammatory response in the small vessel or as a delayed immune ***:Our findings suggest an immunohistochemical small vessel vasculitis pattern with an unusual clinical FE that differs from other types of COVID-19-associated FE or erythema reported previously.

盘状星系中的棒结构特征与星系自身所处环境及整体恒星形成特征之间存在复杂的相互关系。利用细致的星系形态特征测量计划Galaxy Zoo DECaLS中的数据构建了一组目前最大的具有同样恒星质量分布的强棒、弱棒和无棒星系样本。通过引入星系所处暗晕质量及相空间特征来控制星系所处的环境效应之后,进一步对比研究强棒、弱棒和无棒星系的恒星形成特征。研究表明,有棒星系中的恒星形成熄灭的比例系统地高于无棒星系,且强棒的效应更为明显。但是,对于仍处于恒星形成主序上的星系来说,强棒、弱棒和无棒星系的恒星形成特征并没有显著差别。以上结果表明,星系中的棒特征在其存在的时标中可能使部分星系迅速地从恒星形成转入熄灭状态。
