The study was carried out to determine the influence of sweet potato peels and cashew nut shell supplemented with Ocimum gratissium leaves, using growth indices and blood constituents by goats. Eighteen goats with an average weight of 8.11 kg and aged between 8 and 9 months old were allotted to three dietary treatments with six animals per treatment in a complete randomized design. The compared diets which comprised combination of sweet potato peels and cashew nut shell with concentrate respectively were in different ratios which included diet i (30:25:45), diet ii (25:30:45) and diet iii (20:35:45). Each goat also received 8 grams of Ocimum gratissium leaves as supplement in the diet. The results showed that average feed intake (6.42 kg) and fed conversion ratio (2.15) were highest in diet i and significantly different from other diets. Diet ii had the highest significant (P 3/L), lymphocytes (56.01%), monocytes (1.06%), total protein (7.65 g/dl), albumin (3.58 g/dl), globulin (4.07 g/dl) and triglyceride (2.29 mmol/L). White blood cell (7.01 × 103/L), neutrophils (49.82%), cholesterol (42.34 mmol/L), creatnine (1.59 mg/dl) and urea (18.29 mg/dl) were (P in diet iii, whereas initial bodyweight, average daily weight gain, eosinophils and basophils were not significantly different (P it is concluded that diet ii has the potential to enhance growth rate and blood constituents of goats.

Almost all healthy female chickens are expected to optimally produce eggs regularly. To maximize profits, nonproductive birds are often culled in commercial layer farms without due considerations to causes. Genetic and therapeutic manipulations to increase egg production per cycle often predispose birds to obstetric problems. information on the detection and management techniques of reproductive abnormalities of the domestic chicken appear scarce. This study reports on clinical evaluation and surgical management of three major reproductive abnormalities of the commercial layer chickens. Egg yolk peritonitis, oviduct impaction and egg bound conditions were diagnosed and surgically managed following standard surgical procedures. Palpation and abdominocenthesis using flexible rubber catheter, abdomino-pelvic ultrasound scan and ventra-dorsal X-ray techniques were used to establish diagnosis. in all reported conditions herein, surgery was employed to correct them. The study showed values of diagnostic imaging and surgery to correcting obstetric conditions of domestic chickens.

A new homologous series of thermotropic liquid crystalline copoly(arylidene-ether)s based on 4-teriary butyl cyclohexanone moiety were synthesized by solution polycondensation of 4,4’-diformyl-α,ω-diphenoxyalkanes, ia-d or 4,4’- diformyl-2,2’-dimethoxy-α,ω-diphenoxyalkanes iia-d with the 4-teriary butyl-cyclohexanone iii and cyclopentanone. A model compound iV was synthesized from the monomer iii with benzaldehyde and characterized by elemental and spectral analyses. The inherent viscosities of the resulting polymers were in the range 0.22 - 0.92 di/g. All the copoly(arylidene-ether)s were insoluble in common organic solvents but dissolved completely in concentrated H2SO4 and formic acid. The mesomorphic properties of these polymers were studied as a function of the diphenoxyalkane space length. Their thermotropic liquid crystalline properties were examined by DSC and optical polarizing microscopy and demonstrated that the resulting polymers form nematic mesophases over wide temperature ranges. The thermogravimetric analyses of those polymers were evaluated by TGA and DSC measurements and correlated to their structural units. X-Ray analysis showed that copolymers having some degree of crystallinity in the region 2q = 5° -60°. in addition, the morphological properties of selected examples were tested by Scanning electron microscopy.

The development of GPS （global positioning system） receiver now can be integrated on a smartphone. GPS receiver on smartphones has been developed for location-based applications. Smartphones are very suitable to be used as an experimental tool, because smartphones are usually equipped with various types of sensors. This paper proposes a model observation vehicle speed on a road section based on the GPS data on the smartphone. Observations made by calculating the speed of the speed of vehicles moving through the data transfer at the GPS location of the smartphone, the data are then sent periodically to the server and server processing and storage of vehicle speed data. After tested with test reliability indicators use RMSE, observations with model observations speed, speed based on GPS data on a smartphone are relevant when compared with the speed directly from the vehicle＇s speedometer with the difference between the value of the difference of speed that is 3.1785 km/h.

The provision of high-quality medical care has become a key challenge in many countries. At the same time, there is a growing awareness that the early detection of chronic diseases can reduce mortality rates. Therefore, it is important to identify service needs which influence to participate in health screening. To date, little research has been conducted into the perspectives of service providers on this topic. in this preliminary study, we aimed to explore the perspectives of service providers who work in a community-based setting in order to identify perceived barriers to chronic disease screening and incentives which can increase participation rates. in-depth interviews were conducted with 10 experienced health service providers from October 2017 to December 2017. interviewees included physicians and community health representatives who had been working in a community-based health screening service for at least 3 years. The study identified several aspects of health screening services for chronic diseases that are in need of improvement, including a shortage of appropriate health service providers, inadequate attendance promoting measures, a lack of continually accessible and affordable medical services, healthcare professionals who possess inadequate communication skills, and rural-urban health care disparities. Service providers believe that current services do not fulfill community needs. Older adults who live in rural areas experience especially significant screening-related health disparities, which are mainly affected by structural service barriers. To improve the quality of medical services, healthcare screening services should be evaluated according to the perspectives of both participants and service providers.

Cooking Quality Parameters of Rice Cultivars Grown in Spain

The quality office is complex and made up of many components such as nutritional quality, appearance, cooking quality and eating quality. The cultivar is one of the main factors that could affect to the grain quality office. The aim of this work was to analyze and compare the cooking quality parameters of six different japonica varieties of rice grown in Spain （Senia, Gleva, Bahia, Maratelli, Guadiamar and Bomba）. This work focused on the study of the cooking quality of rice, because it is one of the most important factors related to grain quality in Spain. it was evaluated using five characteristics： amylose content, gel consistency, degree of spreading, gelatinization temperature and pasting parameters. The amylose content ranged from 11.60% to 21.46%, with the Gleva cultivar having the lowest amylose content and with Bomba having the highest. The gel consistency varied between 5.44 cm and 9.81 cm. Regarding the alkali test, the Maratelli cultivar had the highest dispersion and transparency. Maratelli had the lowest gelatinization temperature （61.67±0.08 ℃）, and Senia had the highest gelatinization temperature （67.05±0.02 ℃）. Finally, the pasting parameters showed significant differences among cultivars with different viscosities.

针对东昆仑及相邻地区研究较薄弱的中生代-新生代早期时段的构造过程提供了系列新的热年代学资料．不同热年代学方法综合揭示了东昆仑及相邻地区在中生代-新生代早期至少存在3次明显的热事件记录．第一次大约启动于200Ma的晚三叠世晚期，并可能一直延续到早中侏罗世之交，是一次具有广泛影响并奠定造山带区域构造格架的构造热事件．区域动力背景可能和南部羌塘地块与昆仑地块的碰撞、松潘-甘孜-巴颜喀拉浊积盆地闭合相关．第二次发生在大约130-150Ma的早白垩世，并可能延续到早白垩世末，主要表现为系列区域性NWW—SEE向的挤压性断裂活动，可对应于白垩纪时期拉萨地块沿班公湖-怒江缝合带与欧亚大陆的增生拼贴事件．第三次为大约56-45Ma的古新世，表现为一期伸展抬升．热年代学记录与零星保存的地质记录具有良好的匹配性，并对构造过程提供了更确切的时间限定．

Non-orthogonal multiple access （NOMA） schemes have achieved great attention recently and been considered as a crucial compo-nent for 5G wireless networks since they can efficiently enhance the spectrum efficiency, support massive connections and poten-tially reduce access latency via grant free access. in this paper, we introduce the candidate NOMA solutions in 5G networks, com-paring the principles, key features, application scenarios, transmitters and receivers, etc. in addition, a unified framework of these multiple access schemes are proposed to improve resource utilization, reduce the cost and support the flexible adaptation of multi-ple access schemes. Further, flexible multiple access schemes in 5G systems are discussed. They can support diverse deployment scenarios and traffic requirements in 5G. Challenges and future research directions are also highlighted to shed some lights for the standardization in 5G.
