In this paper, we analyze the enthalpy, enthalpy energy density, thermodynamic volume, and the equation of state of a modified white hole. We obtain new possible mathematical connections with some sectors of Number Theory, Ramanujan Recurring Numbers, DN Constant and String Theory, that enable us to extract the quantum geometrical properties of these thermodynamic equations and the implication to the quantum vacuum spacetime geometry of our early universe as they act as the constraints to the nature of quantum gravity of the universe.

The assessment of floristic composition and diversity is very important in forest management units. This study sets out to determine the species diversity and implications for biodiversity conservation in FMU 09-025 of the Campo Ma’an National park, South Region of Cameroon. Due to human activities in the area, the study site was divided into two Blocks (A and B). The transect method was employed in data collection. A total 14 long transects were established parallel to each other in blocks at a distance of 3 km apart, 8 transects in Block A and 6 Transects in Block. In each transect, plots of 20 × 500 m were established at intervals of 500 m. Within each plot, all individual trees ≥ 10 cm were identified, measured, and recorded. The DBH of all trees were measured at 1.3 using the DBH meter tape. The height of trees was measured through estimation (average estimates of all field researchers). Results revealed a total of eight thousand one hundred and twenty four (8124) individual plants with DBH ≥ 10 cm in the entire study area. From this number, 5113 tree stems ≥ 10 cm were identified and measured in Block A. This belongs to 216 species in 47 families. In block B a total of and 5011 stems were identified and measured. This belongs to 239 species in 47 families. Fabaceae, Annonaceae, Euphorbiaceae and Rubiaceae were found to be the most dominant plant families in the study site. Erythrophleum ivorense, Lophira alata, Dialium bipindense, Musanga cecropioides, Alstonia boonei, Pterocarpus soyauxii, Guibourtia ehie, Staudtia kamerunensis, Desbordesia glaucescens, Sacoglottis gabonensis were found to be the most dominant plant species. 41 species are of conservation concern according to the IUCN global Red List 2023 and IUCN local status. These species are considered species with high-priority for conservation. We have 6 endangered species, 11 near Threatened species, and 25 vulnerable species. There was no significant difference in species diversity in the two Blocks.

Engineering disasters, such as rockburst and collapse, are closely related to structural instability caused byinsufﬁcient bearing capacity of geological materials. Uniaxial compressive strength (UCS) holds considerablesigniﬁcance in rock engineering projects. Consequently, this study endeavors to devise efﬁcient models for theexpeditious and economical estimation of UCS. Using a dataset of 729 samples, including the Schmidt hammerrebound number, P-wave velocity, and point load index data, we evaluated six algorithms, namely AdaptiveBoosting (AdaBoost), Gradient Boosting Decision Tree (GBDT), Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost), LightGradient Boosting Machine (LightGBM), Random Forest (RF), and Extra Trees (ET) and utilized Bayesian Optimization (BO) to optimize the aforementioned algorithms. Moreover, we applied model evaluation metrics suchas Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Variance Accounted For (VAF), Nash-SutcliffeEfﬁciency (NSE), Weighted Mean Absolute Percentage Error (WMAPE), Coefﬁcient of Correlation (R), and Coefﬁcient of Determination (R2). Among the six models, BO-ET emerged as the most optimal performer duringtraining (RMSE ¼ 4.5042, MAE ¼ 3.2328, VAF ¼ 0.9898, NSE ¼ 0.9898, WMAPE ¼ 0.0538, R ¼ 0.9955, R2 ¼0.9898) and testing (RMSE ¼ 4.8234, MAE ¼ 3.9737, VAF ¼ 0.9881, NSE ¼ 0.9875, WMAPE ¼ 0.2515, R ¼0.9940, R2 ¼ 0.9875) phases. Additionally, we conducted a systematic comparison between ensemble andtraditional single machine learning models such as decision tree, support vector machine, and K-NearestNeighbors, thus highlighting the advantages of ensemble learning. Furthermore, the enhancement effect of BO ongeneralization performance was assessed. Finally, a BO-ET-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) system wasdeveloped and validated in a Tunnel Boring Machine-excavated tunnel.

Throughout the world, climate change is threatening the human population. In West Africa, smallholder farmers in indigenous agricultural societies typically hold considerable knowledge. Therefore, this study was conducted in West Atacora of Benin Republic to assess the drivers of farmers’ perceptions of climate change risk. We used a random sampling technique to select 360 households’ heads who were interviewed regarding different climate change risks perception. Binomial logistic regression was used to assess the drivers of farmers’ perceptions of climate change risks. The results showed that the farmers in drier areas had a higher perception of the global risk of climate change than those in humid areas. The same trend was observed for the seven different individual’s climate change risk investigated. The study identified also membership of farm organizations as main sociodemographic characteristic that explains farmers’ perception of climate change risk perception. These findings are helpful tools to sensitize the local people on climate change risk and cope with the risk in agricultural lands.
