A semi supervised image classification method for satellite images is proposed in this *** satellite images contain enormous data that can be used in various *** analysis of the data is a tedious task due to the amount of data and the heterogeneity of the ***,in this paper,a Radial Basis Function Neural Network(RBFNN)trained using Manta Ray Foraging Optimization algorithm(MRFO)is *** is a three-layer network comprising of input,output,and hidden layers that can process large *** trained network can discover hidden data patterns in unseen *** learning algorithm and seed selection play a vital role in the performance of the *** seed selection is done using the spectral indices to further improve the performance of the *** manta ray foraging optimization algorithm is inspired by the intelligent behaviour of manta *** emulates three unique foraging behaviours namelys chain,cyclone,and somersault *** satellite images contain enormous amount of data and thus require exploration in large search *** spiral movement of the MRFO algorithm enables it to explore large search spaces *** proposed method is applied on pre and post flooding Landsat 8 Operational Land Imager(OLI)images of New Brunswick *** method was applied to identify and classify the land cover changes in the area induced by *** images are classified using the proposed method and a change map is developed using post classification *** change map shows that a large amount of agricultural area was washed away due to *** measurement of the affected area in square kilometres is also performed for mitigation *** results show that post flooding the area covered by water is increased whereas the vegetated area is *** performance of the proposed method is done with existing state-of-the-art methods.

In many construction projects,a proactive slope stability evaluation is a *** many deterministic or non-deterministic approaches have been commonly used,metaheuristic approaches have resulted in high precision and significant outcomes for slope stability analysis *** current work focuses on the reliable assessment of critical failure surfaces associated with the least factor of safety value in both homogeneous and non-homogeneous slopes using a new simplified meta-heuristic approach called optics-inspired optimization(OIO).The algorithm utilizes six different LEM methods as a fitness function for deriving the factor of *** analysis over three benchmark studies has been performed to demonstrate the algorithm's robustness and *** implementation found more robust results as compared to previous ***,the algorithm's statistical implication is conducted using the ANOVA test,which inferred better *** this interpretation,the approach claims to be suitable and efficient for slope stability analysis.

In the present paper,we report a reproducible,cost effective,fast response method for detection of malathion and its effects on leukocytes in different human blood *** methods（UV-Vis spectrometry）and Fourier transform infrared coupled with solid phase extraction were applied for analyzing malathion content in human blood *** spiking levels of malathion in the range of 0.1-1.7μg/mL were extracted from blood plasma samples using *** present active functional groups（C=0;P-O-C;-OH;P=S）were also *** recovery rate of malathion was 80%±4.5%.The calculated correlation coefficient was 0.9799,indicating the linearity of the *** limit of detection（LOD）and limit of quantification（LOQ）were（0.1-1.7）μg/mL and（0.3-1.5）μg/mL,***〈1.0μg/mL showed no significant change while higher levels of malathion exposure（1.5μg/mL and 3.0｜ig/mL）reduced the number of white blood *** conclusion,the spectroscopic results may be useful to understand the mechanism of other pesticides such as methyl parathion and parathion.

The conventional Kalman filter is based on the assumption of non-delayed measurements. Several modifications appear to address this problem, but they are constrained by two crucial assumptions: 1) the delay is an integer multiple of the sampling interval, and 2) a stochastic model representing the relationship between delayed measurements and a sequence of possible non-delayed measurements is known. Practical problems often fail to satisfy these assumptions, leading to poor estimation accuracy and frequent track-failure. This paper introduces a new variant of the Kalman filter, which is free from the stochastic model requirement and addresses the problem of fractional *** proposed algorithm fixes the maximum delay(problem specific), which can be tuned by the practitioners for varying delay possibilities. A sequence of hypothetically defined intermediate instants characterizes fractional delays while maximum likelihood based delay identification could preclude the stochastic model requirement. Fractional delay realization could help in improving estimation accuracy. Moreover, precluding the need of a stochastic model could enhance the practical applicability. A comparative analysis with ordinary Kalman filter shows the high estimation accuracy of the proposed method in the presence of delay.

Species Diversity and Population Status of Threatened Plants in Different Landscape Elements of the Rohtang Pass,Western Himalaya

This paper highlights the quantitative estimates of plant species diversity and ecosystems of the Rohtang Pass,which is one of the most preferred visiting spots by tourists in Himachal Pradesh (H.P.),India. In spite of high pressure of anthropogenic activities,the Rohtang Pass still harbours a variety of flowering plants with economic value,including various medicinal herbs. In order to observe species diversity in different landscape elements (LSEs),ground surveys were conducted in nine unique LSEs within the elevation range between 3624 m and 4332 m. Plant community structure in each LSE was studied using stratified random sampling where a total 56 quadrats of 1 m2 in size for herbs and 7 quadrats of 25 m2 for shrubs were made. Of the total 50 plant species belonging to 15 families recorded in different random quadrats,24 species were found of medicinal value. Maximum species richness (18) and value of Shannon diversity (H'=2.2648) were observed on northeast-facing slope in Picrorhiza kurrooa dominated LSE in moist area,followed by Rheum emodi LSE (species richness = 17 and H' = 2.4141) distributed on south-facing slope. Maximum values of species richness and Shannon diversity in Rheum emodi LSE were observed between 8 ～ 12 and 1.4797 ～ 2.1911,respectively. Rhododendron anthopogon dominated LSE on northwest-facing slope was found least diverse in terms of species richness where the Simpson index of dominance (D) was 0.4205. The species were equal in abundance in P. kurrooa LSE on east-facing slope and Pleurospermum candollii LSE on north-facing slope,showing the maximum similarity in terms of species distribution between the two LSEs. Low turnover of species across common LSEs gives an idea regarding their limited distribution. Five species of threatened category according to the IUCN criteria were observed in seven LSEs. The purpose of this study was to investigate the nuclear magnetic resonance （NMR） assignments of hydrolyzed products extracted from human blood plasma. The correlations between chemical, functional and structural prop- erties of highly toxic pesticides were investigated using the PreADME analysis. We observed that toxic pesticides possessed higher molecular weight and, more hydrogen bond donors and acceptors when compared with less toxic pesticides. The occurrence of functional groups and structural properties was analyzed using ~H-NMR. The ~H- NMR spectra of the phosphomethoxy class of pesticides were characterized by methyl resonances at 3.7-3.9 ppm （8） with the coupling constants of 11-16 Hz （Je-cns）. In phosphoethoxy pesticides, the methyl resonance was about 1.4 ppm （8） with the coupling constant of 10 Hz （Je-cH2） and the methylene resonances was 4.2-4.4 ppm （8） with the coupling constant of 0.8 Hz （Jp-cH3）, respectively. Our study shows that the values of four parameters such as chemical shift, coupling constant, integration and relaxation time correlated with the concentration of toxic pesticides, and can be used to characterise the proton groups in the molecular structures of toxic pesticides.
