Combination treatment of bisphosphonate(pamidronate) and Quercus infectoria semipurified fraction promotes proliferation and differentiation of osteoblast cell via expression of Osterix and Runx2 marker

Objective:To understand the effects of combination treatment of pamidronate with isolated Quercus infectoria semi-purified fraction(Qlsm-F)on human foetal osteoblast cell model(hFOB1.19 cell line)through assessment of Runt related transcription fraction-2(Runx2)and Osterix(Osx).methods:The isolation and purification of QIsm-F were conducted by chromatographic *** order to assess relative efficacy of QIsm-F to the osteoblast model,the determination of half maximal effective concentration(EC_(50))was performed by mTT *** 1.19 cells were cultured in DmEm F-12 and supplemented with 10%fetal bovine serum along with 1%penicillin-streptomycin incubated in 5%CO_2 at 37℃.Expression of Runx2 and Osx was assessed through western blotting and confirmed with immunofluorescence ***:Results of western blot analysis and immunofluorescence staining demonstrated that compared to hFOB 1.19 cells treated with single individual treatment of QIsm-F and control groups,levels of Runx2 and Osx were elevated with higher fluorescence intensity and more rapid proliferation in hFOB 1.19 cells treated with combined treatment of QIsm-F and ***:The finding demonstrates the synergistic effect between osteoporotic drug pamidronate and established *** combination treatment helps increase the efficiency of pamidronate acting on osteoblast cells by stimulating osteoblast proliferation and differentiation via expression of Runx2 and Osx.

Objective:To study the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity of Butia capitata(***)leaf extracts along with phytochemical analysis of the proposed bioactive ***:Different successive extracts of *** *** were prepared with selective organic solvents and screened for their anti-inflammatory activities in tested animals and invitro antioxidant *** extensive phytochemical investigation of the bioactive extracts through paper chromatography,thin layer chromatography,column chromatography,gasliquid chromatography(GLC),high pressure liquid chromatography and spectral ***,ultraviolet,hydrogen and carbon nuclear magnetic resonance,electron ionization-mass spectrometry,heteronuclear multiple bond correlation and heteronuclear multiple quantum correlation were carried out Results:Results showed that different extracts possess promising antioxidant effect and significant anti-inflammatory activity with variable *** results of the phytochemical investigation of the bioactive extracts revealed the presence of volatile substances,lipoidal matter,α-tocopherol,free sugars,polysaccharides and flavonoidal ***:*** leaf extracts were shown to possess variable antioxidant effect,the most promising was methanol extract Both polar and non polar extracts were proved to have anti-inflammatory activity,the non polar extract was superior in this respect The bioactivity of the extracts was ascribed to the presence of flavonoids,sterols andα-tocopherol.

Embedding Extraction for Arabic Text Using the AraBERT model

Nowadays,we can use the multi-task learning approach to train a machine-learning algorithm to learn multiple related tasks instead of training it to solve a single *** this work,we propose an algorithm for estimating textual similarity scores and then use these scores in multiple tasks such as text ranking,essay grading,and question answering *** used several vectorization schemes to represent the Arabic texts in the SemEval2017-task3-subtask-D *** used schemes include lexical-based similarity features,frequency-based features,and pre-trained model-based ***,we used contextual-based embedding models such as Arabic Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers(AraBERT).We used the AraBERT model in two different ***,as a feature extractor in addition to the text vectorization schemes’*** fed those features to various regression models to make a prediction value that represents the relevancy score between Arabic text ***,AraBERT is adopted as a pre-trained model,and its parameters are fine-tuned to estimate the relevancy scores between Arabic textual *** evaluate the research results,we conducted several experiments to compare the use of the AraBERT model in its two *** terms of mean Absolute Percentage Error(mAPE),the results showminor variance between AraBERT v0.2 as a feature extractor(21.7723)and the fine-tuned AraBERT v2(21.8211).On the other hand,AraBERT v0.2-Large as a feature extractor outperforms the finetuned AraBERT v2 model on the used data set in terms of the coefficient of determination(R2)values(0.014050,−0.032861),respectively.

Host immune cellular reactions in corneal neovascularization

Corneal neovascularization（CNV） is a global important cause of visual impairment. The immune mechanisms leading to corneal heme- and lymphangiogenesis have been extensively studied over the past years as more attempts were made to develop better prophylactic and therapeutic measures. This article aims to discuss immune cells of particular relevance to CNV, with a focus on macrophages, Th17 cells, dendritic cells and the underlying immunology of common pathologies involving neovascularization of the cornea. Hopefully, a thorough understanding of these topics would propel the efforts to halt the detrimental effects of CNV.

Tadalafil(TAD)and dapoxetine HCl(DAP)are recently co-formulated and both show native ***,a novel,accurate,specific and sensitive reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatographic method with fluorescence detection was developed and validated for their separation and quantitation in dosage form and human plasma using avanafil as an internal standard(IS).Separation was achieved using isocratic elution within 7.0 min on C18column and acetonitrile-0.15%triethylamine(40∶60,v/v;pH 4)as a mobile *** flow rate was 1.0 mL/min and the detection was time-programmed at 330,410 and 370 nm for TAD,DAP and IS,respectively,after excitation at 236 *** linear ranges from 0.01 to 30.00μg/mL for each drug with the limits of detection of 4.20 and 7.20 ng/mL for TAD and DAP,*** method was validated in accordance to the International Conference on Harmonization(ICH)guidelines and was successfully applied to spiked human plasma with mean recoveries of 98.17%and 98.83%for TAD and DAP respectively.

Optimal Unit Commitment with Renewable Energy in Regulated and Deregulated Systems

In this paper, the impact of the wind power generation system on the total cost and profit of the system is studied by using the proposed procedure of binary Sine Cosine (BSC) optimization algorithm with optimal priority list (OPL) algorithm. As well, investigate the advantages of system transformation from a regulated system to a deregulated system and the difference in the objective functions of the two systems. The suggested procedure is carried out in two parallel algorithms;The goal of the first algorithm is to reduce the space of searching by using OPL, while the second algorithm adjusts BSC to get the optimal economic dispatch with minimum operation cost of the unit commitment (UCP) problem in the regulated system. But, in the deregulated system, the second algorithm adopts the BSC technique to find the optimal solution to the profit-based unit commitment problem (PBUCP), through the fast of researching the BSC technique. The proposed procedure is applied to IEEE 10-unit test system integrated with the wind generator system. While the second is an actual system in the Egyptian site at Hurghada. The results of this algorithm are compared with previous literature to illustrate the efficiency and capability of this algorithm. Based on the results obtained in the regulated system, the suggested procedure gives better results than the algorithm in previous literature, saves computational efforts, and increases the efficiency of the output power of each unit in the system and lowers the price of kWh. Besides, in the deregulated system the profit is high and the system is more reliable.

Objective:To examine the nonvolatile components of the date pulp and seeds of two minor Tunisian date palm cultivars Arechti and Korkobbi at besser stage and to investigate their antioxidant activity, their phytochemical compounds and their aromatic volatiles composition. methods:The physico-chemical properties, the aroma composition, the mineral profile, the phytochemical content and thein vitro antioxidant activity of those two common date palm fruit varieties and those of their seeds were evaluated. All measurements were made at the besser stage, which showed the highest amount of secondary metabolites. Results:New volatiles compounds are detected in both flesh and seeds and the results revealed that those by products are a suitable source of mineral content and have a high potential of natural antioxidants and good antiradical capacities. Conclusions: Thanks to their characteristics, they could potentially be considered as a cheap resource for new functional food ingredient and novel pharmaceutical applications.

Axonal degeneration of the ulnar nerve secondary to carpal tunnel syndrome: fact or fiction?

The distribution of sensory symptoms in carpal tunnel syndrome is strongly dependent on the degree of electrophysiological dysfunction of the median nerve. The association between carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar nerve entrapment is still unclear. In this study, we measured ulnar nerve function in 82 patients with carpal tunnel syndrome. The patients were divided into group I with minimal carpal tunnel syndrome （n = 35） and group II with mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome （n = 47） according to electrophysiological data. Sixty-one age- and sex-matched subjects without carpal tunnel syndrome were used as a control group. There were no significant differences in ulnar sensory nerve peak latencies or conduction velocities from the 4th and 5th fingers between patients with carpal tunnel syndrome and the control group. The ulnar sensory nerve action potential amplitudes from the 4th and 5th fingers were lower in patients with carpal tunnel syndrome than in the control group. The ratios of the ulnar sensory nerve action potential amplitudes from the 4th and 5th fingers were almost the same in patients with carpal tunnel syndrome as in the control group. These findings indicate that in patients with minimal to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome, there is some electrophysiological evidence of traction on the adjacent ulnar nerve fibers. The findings do not indicate axonal degeneration of the ulnar nerve.
