Density is an important property of natural gas required for the design of gas processing and reservoir *** to expensive measurement of density,industry tends to predict gas density through an ***,all EOS are associated with uncertainties,especially at highpressure ***,using sophisticated EOS in commercial software renders simulation highly *** work aims to evaluate performance of adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system(ANFIS)as a widely-accepted intelligent model for prediction of P-r-T behavior of natural *** experimental data reported in the literature,our inference system was trained with 95 data of natural gas densities in the temperature range of(250-450)K and pressures up to 150 ***,prediction by ANFIS was compared with those of AGA8 and GERG04 which both are leading industrial EOS for calculation of natural gas *** was observed that ANFIS predicts natural gas density with AARD%of 1.704;and is able to estimate gas density as accurate as sophisticated *** proposed model is applicable for predicting gas density in the range of(250-450)K,(10-150)MPa and also for sweet gases,i.e.,containing a low concentration of N2 and CO2.

Stone mastic asphalt(SMA)has not been widely used in the pavement industry,and there are no detailed design specifications for this type of ***,long-term behavior properties of this pavement type are not accessible widely,and no model has been established for SMA regarding its *** main purpose of this study was to incorporate expert experience(using the Markov-chain process)and data from field experiments to propose a model for SMA performance using the Bayesian *** implementation of these sources resulted in a well-organized method to develop a performance model for SMA pavements,which did not have a long-term ***,a linear performance model was established to calculate the SMA service *** service life of SMA can be predicted explicitly according to the developed performance model which has been validated using a new set of data.

In the present paper,the hydrodynamic performance of stepped planing craft is investigated by computational fluid dynamics(CFD)*** this purpose,the hydrodynamic resistances of without step,one-step,and two-step hulls of Cougar planing craft are evaluated under different distances of the second step and LCG from aft,weight loadings,and Froude numbers(Fr).Our CFD results are appropriately validated against our conducted experimental test in National Iranians Marine Laboratory(NIMALA),Tehran,***,the hydrodynamic resistance of intended planing crafts under various geometrical and physical conditions is predicted using artificial neural networks(ANNs).CFD analysis shows two different trends in the growth rate of resistance to weight *** that,using steps for planing craft increases the resistance to weight ratio at lower Fr and decreases it at higher ***,by the increase of the distance between two steps,the resistance to weight ratio is decreased and the porpoising phenomenon is ***,we obtained the maximum mean square error of ANNs output in the prediction of resistance to weight ratio equal to ***,the predictive equation is suggested for the resistance to weight ratio of stepped planing craft according to weights and bias of designed ANNs.

AIM To assess the association of inter-ethnic vs intra-ethnic marriage with severity of coronary artery disease(CAD) in men undergoing *** We conducted a prospective multicenter,multi-ethnic,cross sectional observational study at five hospitals in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates,in which we used logistic regression analysis with and without adjustment for baseline differences. RESULTS Data were collected for 1068 enrolled patients undergoing coronary angiography for clinical indications during the period of April 1^(st),2013 to March 30^(th),2014. Ethnicities of spouses were available only for male patients. Of those enrolled,687 were married men and constituted the cohort for the present analysis. Intra-ethnic marriages were reported in 70% and inter-ethnic marriages in 30%. After adjusting for baseline differences,interethnic marriage was associated with lower odds of having significant CAD [adjusted odds ratio 0.52(95%CI:0.33,0.81)] or multi-vessel disease(MVD) [adjusted odds ratio 0.57(95%CI:0.37,0.86)]. The adjusted association with left main disease showed a similar trend,but was not statistically significant [adjusted odds ratio 0.74(95%CI:0.41,1.32)]. The association between interethnic marriage and the presence of significant CAD and MVD was not modified by number of concurrent wives(P interaction > 0.05 for both).CONCLUSION Among married men undergoing coronary angiography,inter-ethnic,as compared to intra-ethnic,marriage is associated with lower odds of significant CAD and MVD.

Invasive candidiasis(IC) bears a high risk of morbidity and mortality in the intensive care units(ICU). With the current advances in critical care and the use of widespectrum antibiotics, invasive fungal infections(IFIs) and IC in particular, have turned into a growing concern in the ICU. Further to blood cultures, some auxil-iary laboratory tests and biomarkers are developed to enable an earlier detection of infection, however these test are neither consistently available nor validated in our setting. On the other hand, patients' clinical status and local epidemiology data may justify the empiric antifungal approach using the proper antifungal option. The clinical approach to the management of IC in febrile, non-neutropenic critically ill patients has been defined in available international guidelines; nevertheless such recommendations need to be customized when applied to our local practice. Over the past three years, Iranian experts from intensive care and infectious diseases disciplines have tried to draw a consensus on the management of IFI with a particular focus on IC in the ICU. The established IFI-clinical forum(IFI-CF), comprising the scientific leaders in the field, has recently come up with and updated recommendation on the same(June 2014). The purpose of this review is to put together literature insights and Iranian experts' opinion at the IFI-CF, to propose an updated practical overview on recommended approaches for the management of IC in the ICU.
