The focus of this paper is to address a novel control technique for stability and transparency analysis of bilateral telerobotic systems in the presence of data loss and time delay in the communication channel. Different control strategies have been reported to compensate the effects of time delay in the communication channel;however, most of them result in poor performance under data loss. First, a model for data loss is proposed using a finite series representation of a set of periodic continuous *** improve the performance and data reconstruction, a holder circuits is also introduced. The passivity of the overall system is provided via the wave variable technique based on the proposed model for the data loss. The stability analysis of the system is then derived using the Lyapunov theorem under the time delay and the data loss. Finally, experimental results are given to illustrate the capability of the proposed control technique.

The piezoelectric method to atomize fluids in aeroponic systems is known as a new *** the current study,the effects of four independent variables on the misting rate were *** variables were Dosage of Chemical Fertilizer(DCF),the Height of Solution above Piezoelectric Ceramic(HSPC),Piezoelectric Location at the Bottom of the Container(PLBC),and the Container Geometry(CG).Physical properties such as fluid density,viscosity,surface tension,Total Dissolved Solids(TDS),and Electrical Conductivity(EC)of the solutions were ***,optimization was performed to determine suitable ranges of independent variables to get the optimum value of the misting *** showed that the HSPC,PLBC,and CG significantly affect the total misting rate(P<1%).Besides,the DCF,HSPC,and CG have significant effects on surface evaporation at a probability level of 1%.At the temperature of 25℃and for different concentrations of fertilizer,the density,viscosity,surface tension,TDS,and EC varied between 1002-1006.5 kg/m^(3),1.009-1.395 mPas,0.07182-0.07298 N/m,253-3397 mg/L,502-6795 mS/cm,*** misting rate ranged between 0.499 and 5.720 g/*** the outlet of the mist generation container,mass flow rate was in the range of 59.895 to 65.116 g/***,theoretically calculated mist average droplet size was in the range of 2.90 to 2.92 mm for different fertilizer *** present study is the first research on the factors affecting the ultrasonic mist production rate in an aeroponic *** future developments,effect of voltage,frequency,and using horn should be ***,similar research should be done in the field of gas-phase bioreactors(mist bioreactors).

Unsteady motion of a vertically falling non-spherical particle has attracted considerable attention due to its frequent applications in nature and industry.A series of semi-analytical methods have been used to raise the results’ accuracy as well as widening the region of *** current study pursued a new analytical solution for the unsteady motion of a rigid non-spherical particle in a quiescent Newtonian fluid,based on the Optimal Homotopy Analysis *** a view towards obtaining the highest level of accuracy and ensuring the convergence of the analytical results,the averaged residual errors were obtained and *** addition to flexibility,it was also proven that the proposed method can lead to completely reliable and precisely accurate *** on the series solution,the effects of physical parameters on the terminal settling velocity(*** greatest velocity that a falling body may reach)and the acceleration time(*** time that a particle reaches the settling velocity) are investigated.

AIM:To formulate a noninvasive index predictive of se-verity of liver f ibrosis and activity in chronic hepatitis ***:This cross sectional study was conducted on polymerase chain reaction positive,treatment nave *** was staged on a f ive point scale from F0-F4 and activity was graded on a four point scale from A0-A3,according to the METAVIR *** were divided into two overall severity groups,minimal disease(< F2 and < A2)and signif icant disease(≥ F2 or ≥ A2).Eleven markers were measured in ***-tistically,the primary outcome variable was identif ica-tion of minimal and signif icant overall *** were formulated using β regression values of different combinations of nine statistically significant *** performance of these indices was assessed through receiver-operating characteristic curve ***:A total of 98 patients were included and of these 46 had an overall clinically significant *** f inal six marker index,Liverscore for Hepatitis C,consisted of age,alanine transaminase,gamma-gluta-myl transpeptidase,apolipoprotein A-1,alpha-2 macro-globulin and hyaluronic *** area under the curve was found to be *** a 0-1 scale,negative predic-tive value at a cutoff level of ≤ 0.40 was 83%,while positive predictive value at ≥ 0.80 remained 89%.Al-together,61% of the patients had these discriminative ***:This index is discriminative of minimal and significant overall liver disease in a majority of chronic hepatitis C patients and can help in clinical de-cision making.

The present paper renders a modeling and a 2D numerical simulation for the removal of CO_2from CO_2/CH_4gaseous stream utilizing sodium hydroxide(NaOH),monoethanolamine(MEA)and triethanolamine(TEA)liquid absorbents inside the hollow fiber membrane ***-current arrangement of absorbing agents and CO_2/CH_4gaseous mixture flows are implemented in the modeling and numerical ***-wetting and partial wetting modes of operation are considered where in the partial wetting mode,CO_2/CH_4gaseous mixture and liquid absorbents fill the membrane *** deteriorated removal of CO_2in the partial wetting mode of operation is mainly due to the mass transfer resistance imposed by the liquid in the pores of *** validation of numerical simulation is done based on the comparison of simulation results of CO_2removal using Na OH and experimental data under non-wetting mode of *** comparison illustrates a desirable agreement with an average deviation of less than 5%.According to the results,MEA provides higher efficiency for CO_2removal in comparison with the other liquid *** order for CO_2removal performance is MEAN Na OHN *** influence of non-wetting and partial wetting modes of operation on CO_2removal are evaluated in this article as one of the ***,the percentage of CO_2sequestration as a function of gas velocity for various percentages of membrane pores wetting ranging from 0(non-wetting mode of operation)to 100%(complete wetting mode of operation)is studied in this research paper,which can be proposed as the other *** results indicate that increase in some operational parameters such as module length,membrane porosity and absorbents concentration encourage the removal percentage of CO_2from CO_2/CH_4gaseous mixture while increasing in membrane tortuosity,gas velocity and initial CO_2concentration has unfavorable influence on the separation efficiency of CO_2.

The main purpose of this paper is to present and apply a genetic and simulated annealing combined algorithm to solve an optimization problem of Radio Frequency Identification(RFID)network planning in an emergency department of a ***,though genetic algorithm(GA)and simulated annealing(SA)have advantages and disadvantages,but they are also ***,the combined algorithm not only takes advantages of the two methods,but also avoids their *** simulation results in an emergency department of a hospital present that the proposed method provides minimum total cost and maximum RFID network coverage in a simultaneous way with the efficient use of multi-antenna RFID ***,the results of comparison of two scenarios of the model with the results of other existing models in the relevant literature show that the proposed model has better outcomes.

In this study, Imperialistic Competitive Algorithm（ICA） is utilized for locating the critical failure surface and computing the factor of safety（FOS） in a slope stability analysis based on the limit equilibrium approach. The factor of safety relating to each trial slip surface is calculated using a simplified algorithm of the Morgenstern-Price method, which satisfies both the force and the moment equilibriums. General slip surface is considered non-circular in this study that is constituted by linking random straight *** explore the performance of the proposed algorithm, four benchmark test problems are analyzed. The results demonstrate that the present techniques can provide reliable, accurate and efficient solutions for locating the critical failure surface and relating FOS. Moreover, in contrast with previous studies the present algorithm could reach the lower value of FOS and reached more exact solutions.

Effect of trapezoidal collars as a scour countermeasure around wing-wall abutments

Local scour around bridge abutments is a widespread problem that can result in structural failure. Collars can be used as a countermeasure to reduce the scour depth. In this study, the temporal scour development around a wing-wall abutment was investigated with and without collars. The tests were carried out under clear-water conditions for different abutment lengths, with collars of different sizes placed at the bed level. When no collar was used in the experiments, 70% of the maximum scour depth occurred in less than 2 h. However, when a collar with a width greater than the length of the abutment was used, no scour was observed for up to 200 min from the beginning of the experiments. The results show that an increase in the collar width not only led to a lag time for the onset of scouring but also reduced the maximum scour depth. Moreover, an increased collar width led to a better performance in mitigating scouring around smaller abutments. Generally, the scour depth decreased by 9%-37% with different collar widths.

In this work, the effects of three ionic liquids(ILs), namely, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium dicyanamide and tetraethyl-ammonium chloride, on methane hydrate formation and dissociation kinetic parameters were studied. The kinetic parameters including the initial rate of hydrate formation, hydrate stability at atmospheric pressure and hydrate storage capacity were evaluated. The experimental measurements were performed in an initial pressure range of 3.5-7.1 MPa. It was found that both of ILs with imidazolium-based cation increase the initial methane hydrate formation rate while the IL with ammonium-based cation leads to a decrease in the initial methane hydrate formation rate. It was also interpreted from the results that all of the three studied ILs decrease methane hydrate stability at atmospheric pressure and increase methane hydrate storage capacity. Finally, both of ILs with imidazolium-based cations were found to have higher impacts on decreasing hydrate stability at atmospheric pressure and increasing the methane hydrate storage capacity than the applied IL with ammonium-based cation.
