Comparison of the effects of high-intensity interval and moderate-intensity continuous training on inflammatory markers,cardiorespiratory fitness,and quality of life in breast cancer patients

Background:As the effectiveness of breast cancer treatment has improved,a growing number of long-term breast cancer survivors are seeking help for unique health *** patients may be at increased risk of cardiovascular disease due to the side effects of *** positive impact of most types of exercise has been repeatedly reported in people with cancer,but the most effective exercise approaches for maximum beneficial adaptations remain ***,this study aimed to compare the effects of high-intensity interval training(HIIT)and moderate-intensity continuous training(MICT) on inflammatory indices,adipokines,metabolic markers,body composition,cardiorespiratory fitness,and quality of life in breast cancer patients during adjuvant endocrine ***:Thirty non-metastatic breast cancer patients during adjuvant endocrine therapy who had been treated with chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy were recruited from Iran and randomized to HIIT,MICT,or control groups for a supervised exercise intervention that took place 3 times a week for 12 *** training intensity was determed based on the peak oxygen uptake(VO2peak),and the volume of training was matched in HIIT and MICT based on the *** composition,functional capacity,cardiorespiratory fitness,metabolic indices,sex hormones,adipokines,and inflammatory markers were assessed before and after the ***:The VO2peakincreased by 16.8% in the HIIT group in comparison to baseline values(mean difference=3.61 mL/kg/min).HIIT significantly improved the VO2peakcompared to control(mean difference=3.609 mL/kg/min) and MICT(mean differences=2.974 mL/kg/min)*** HIIT(mean difference=9.172 mg/dL) and MICT(mean difference=7.879 mg/dL) interventions significantly increased highdensity lipoprotein cholesterol levels compared to the control *** analysis of covariance showed that physical well-being significantly improved in MICT compared to control group(mean difference=3.268)

限制阴离子的迁移是实现无枝晶且稳定的锂金属负极的有效策略。合理设计用于无枝晶和高性能锂金属负极的阴离子屏蔽复合中间层,制备了基于共价有机框架TpPa-SO_(3)Li的混合基质中间层(CMIs)TpPa-SO_(3)Li@PVDF-HFP。TpPa-SO_(3)Li的带负电荷的磺酸盐有利于保证锂离子的传输,阻碍阴离子的迁移,从而提高锂离子的迁移数,使锂离子通量均匀,实现锂离子的均匀沉积。结果发现,在电流密度为1 mA·cm^(-2)和容量为1 mAh·cm^(-2)时,CMIs改性的Li/Li对称电池的寿命延长了1900 h以上而没有短路故障。当锂金属负极与LiFePO4正极结合时,具有CMIs的组装完整电池具有142.7 mAh·g^(-1)的高容量,即使在1C下循环300次后仍可观察到92%的容量保持率。

Limb loss is disabling and carries significant functional and psychological repercussions to both the individual and *** numbers of amputees are forecasted to double by 2050 from vascular disease and diabetes *** has 4.66 million amputees(431,000 amputations per year)and the United States 2 million amputees(185,000 amputations per year).Microvascular expertise is now more commonplace,increasing the likelihood of limb salvage and *** reconstructive input can take advantage of nerve and tendon grafting/transfers,free tissue transfer,and complex bone *** this strategy does not satisfy individual needs,such as that seen with unstable soft tissues,amputation may be requested or *** part,the decision for salvage,replantation,or amputation in the future is likely to be guided by the sophistication of limb *** review will introduce the growing domain of bionics and where research in this area may deliver a sought clinical need.

A Two-Dimensional Thermoelastic Analysis of a Cylindrical Shell Made of FGM with Temperature-Dependent Physical Properties

This paper numerically and analytically investigates a non-linear static,twodimensional thermoelastic analysis in the radial and tangential directions of a cylindrical shell made of functionally graded *** dependence of material properties on temperature makes the heat governing equations *** obtain the temperature field analytically,the heat conduction equation is linearized and exactly solved using a linearizing transformation,then this exact solution is substituted in the Lamme-Navier equations,and the elasticity equations are numerically solved using a second-order central finite difference method,and displacement and stress distributions are ***,the temperature field,stress,and displacement distributions are presented,and the effect of inhomogeneous parameters on them is examined and *** correctness and accuracy of the exact analytical solution of the temperature field are illustrated by a comparison with the numerical *** results show a good agreement.

Corrosion and wear resistance of coatings produced on AZ31 Mg alloy by plasma electrolytic oxidation in silicate-based K2TiF6 containing solution:Effect of waveform

In this research,plasma electrolytic oxidation coatings were prepared on AZ31 Mg alloy in a silicate-based solution containing K_(2)TiF_(6) using bipolar and soft sparking waveforms with 10,20,and 30%cathodic duty *** coatings displayed a net-like surface morphology consisted of irregular micro-pores,micro-cracks,fused oxide particles,and a sintered *** to the incorporation of TiO_(2) colloidal particles and the cathodic pulse repair effect,most of the micro-pores were ***-term corrosion performance of the coatings was investigated using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy during immersion in 3.5 wt.%NaCl solution up to 14 *** coating grown by the soft sparking waveform with a 20%cathodic duty cycle having the lowest porosity(6.2%)and a sharp layer concentrated in F element at the substrate/coating interface shows the highest corrosion *** friction coefficient of this coating has remained stable during the sliding even under 5 N normal load,showing relatively higher wear resistance than other *** coating produced using the equivalent unipolar waveform,as the reference specimen,showed the highest friction coefficient and the lowest wear resistance despite its highest micro-hardness.

Evaluation of sour gas-low salinity waterflooding in carbonate reservoirs-A numerical simulation approach

Effect of synthetic fibers on resisting scour caused by horizontal jet

Given that the development of scour downstream of hydraulic structures increases the risk of structural damage,it is important to find cost-effective and environmental approaches to reduce this *** study aimed to experimentally evaluate the effect of synthetic fibers on the scour profile downstream of a sluice gate with a rigid *** were performed with the same Froude number and with different weight percentages of synthetic fibers on both non-cohesive and cohesive *** uniform sand was used as the non-cohesive sediment,and three different cohesive sediments were prepared by mixing different percentages of kaolinite soil with the used *** scouring experiments showed that the presence of synthetic fibers did not considerably affect the scour hole dimension in non-cohesive *** of the scour in the cohesive sediments in silty sand(SM)texture found that an increase in the percentage of silt reduced the scour hole *** effect of synthetic fibers on scour of SM-texture-based sediments was also investigated,and the results showed that increasing the percentage of synthetic fibers decreased the scour hole *** addition,the cohesive sediments in SM texture did not have a similar non-dimensional scour profile,and the presence of synthetic fibers did not significantly affect the scour hole.

A lightweight flexible thermally stable composite is fabricated by com-bining silica nanofiber membranes(SNM)with MXene@c-MWCNT hybrid *** flexible SNM with outstanding thermal insulation are prepared from tetraethyl orthosilicate hydrolysis and condensation by electrospinning and high-temperature calcination;the MXene@c-MWCNT_(x:y)films are prepared by vacuum filtration *** particular,the SNM and MXene@c-MWCNT_(6:4)as one unit layer(SMC_(1))are bonded together with 5 wt%polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)solution,which exhibits low thermal conductivity(0.066 W m^(-1)K^(-1))and good electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding performance(average EMI SE_(T),37.8 dB).With the increase in func-tional unit layer,the overall thermal insulation performance of the whole composite film(SMC_(x))remains stable,and EMI shielding performance is greatly improved,especially for SMC_(3)with three unit layers,the average EMI SET is as high as 55.4 *** addition,the organic combination of rigid SNM and tough MXene@c-MWCNT_(6:4)makes SMC_(x)exhibit good mechanical tensile ***,SMC_(x)exhibit stable EMI shielding and excellent thermal insulation even in extreme heat and cold ***,this work provides a novel design idea and important reference value for EMI shielding and thermal insulation components used in extreme environmental protection equipment in the future.

Intermittent swelling and shrinkage of a highly expansive soil treated with polyacrylamide

This laboratory study examines the potential use of an anionic polyacrylamide(PAM)-based material as an environmentally sustainable additive for the stabilization of an expansive soil from South *** experimental program consisted of consistency limits,sediment volume,compaction and oedometer cyclic swell-shrink tests,performed using distilled water and four different PAM-to-water solutions of P_(D)=0.1 g/L,0.2 g/L,0.4 g/L and 0.6 g/L as the mixing ***,the relative swelling and shrinkage strains were found to decrease with increasing number of applied swell-shrink cycles,with an‘elastic equilibrium’condition achieved on the conclusion of four *** propensity for swelling/shrinkage potential reduction(for any given cycle)was found to be in favor of increasing the PAM dosage up to P_(D)=0.2 g/L,beyond which the excess PAM molecules self-associate as aggregates,thereby functioning as a lubricant instead of a flocculant;this critical dosage was termed‘maximum flocculation dosage’(MFD).The MFD assertion was discussed and validated using the consistency limits and sediment volume properties,both exhibiting only marginal variations beyond the identified MFD of P_(D)=0.2 g/*** accumulated axial strain progressively transitioned from‘expansive’for the unamended soil to an ideal‘neutral’state at the MFD,while higher dosages demonstrated undesirable‘contractive’states.
