Due to concerns regarding the future availability,cost,and safety of lithium in Li-ion batteries(LIBs),researchers are exploring alternative chemistries such as Na-ion,Li-S,Li-air,and multivalent ion *** ion technologies,which utilize divalent or trivalent ions,like Mg^(2+),Ca^(2+),and Al^(3+),show promise in achieving greater energy densities than LIBs due to their ability to deposit uniformly on anodes and intercalate into *** magnesium-ion batteries(MIBs) have been the primary area of research for multivalent ion batteries,the cost-effectiveness and abundance of calcium have sparked a growing interest in calcium-ion batteries(CIBs) in recent *** to LIBs,CIBs have the potential to provide longer cycle life,enhanced safety,and increased energy ***,the development of CIBs comes with several challenges,such as finding suitable electrode and electrolyte materials that ensure the stability and safety of the *** primary hurdle in CIBs lies in the plating/stripping *** is a significant hindrance preventing the occurrence of plating/stripping in CIBs,which lies in the formation of a passive layer resulting from the decomposition of the *** objective of this article is to examine the advancements made in ***,it aims to comprehensively assess the mechanisms and materials employed in various battery components,as well as the obstacles encountered in *** includes recent advancements in electrode materials,electrolytes,cell configurations,and the challenges and opportunities for enhancing the performance and commercial viability of CIBs.

In the current study,applying simultaneously electroporation and silver nanoparticles(SNPs)are ***,one restriction normally assigned to such nanoparticles is their side effects on the vital organs of the *** mitigate such deleterious effects,it is better to use lower dosages of ***,this can result in a decline in the technique's *** compensate for the lower dose of SNPs,one can use secondary method like electroporation to deliver SNPs directly into the cells and reinforces the effect of electric pulses due to the high electrical conductivity of SNPs while having a minimal cytotoxicity effect on normal cells that are not treated with *** the present study,synergism effects of both procedures(SNPs and electroporation)experimentally and theoretically are considered to investigate the property of each technique in increasing the performance with respect to both procedures'*** investigate more,adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system(ANFIS)is used to predict the percent cell viability of cancerous cells affected by both procedures by considering amplitude and duration as inputs affecting on change of cell viability as an *** results obtained from both experimental and simulation procedures showed that the maximum synergism between nanoparticles and electric pulses was recorded at 700V/cm strength and 100μs ***,Results indicated high correlation between observed and predicted data(r2=0.88).Moreover,the calculated root mean square error for the results of the ANFIS model was equal to *** implies that the model has practical value and can estimate the percent cell viability of cancerous cells influenced by both procedures with varying electric field amplitude and *** method can be proposed for other biophysical or drug delivery applications to save time and resources by utilizing the previous experimental data rather than performing more experiments.

Water-based nanofluids were prepared with multi walled carbon nanotubes （MWCNTs） of different lengths in concentrations of 0,1,0,25 and 0,5 vol%, To improve their dispersibility, pristine MWCNTs were functionalized and cut into small lengths by reflux in an oxidizing mixture of 3：1 sulfuric and nitric acids, The initial length of the carbon nanotubes （CNTs; 10-15 μm） was reduced to 203, 171 and 134nm after 1, 2 and 4 h of reflux, respectively, Surface modification and the reduced length of the CNTs, improved the stability of the nanofluids with no significant sedimentation observed after 80 days. Furthermore, the thermal conductivities of nanofluids prepared using refluxed CNTs, were higher than that of the pristine CNTs. The thermal conductivity also increased with the nanofluid temperature, The nanofluid prepared with 1 h refluxed CNTs had the highest thermal conductivity, The enhanced thermal conductivity and stabilitv of the nanofluids was attributed to the decreased length of CNTs.

Agriculture needs to produce more food to feed the growing population in the 21st *** makes the reference crop water requirement(WREQ)a major challenge especially in regions with limited water and high water ***,with large climatic variability,is experiencing a serious water crisis due to limited water resources and inefficient *** order to overcome the issue of uneven distribution of weather stations,gridded Climatic Research Unit(CRU)data was applied to analyze the changes in potential evapotranspiration(PET),effective precipitation(EFFPRE)and *** of data using in situ observation showed an acceptable performance of CRU in *** in PET,EFFPRE and WREQ were analyzed in two 30-a periods 1957-1986 and *** two periods showed an increase in PET and WREQ in regions extended from the southwest to northeast and a decrease in the southeast,more significant in summer and ***,EFFPRE decreased in the southeast,northeast,and northwest,especially in winter and *** of annual trends revealed an upward trend in PET(14.32 mm/decade)and WREQ(25.50 mm/decade),but a downward trend in EFFPRE(-11.8 mm/decade)over the second *** in PET,EFFPRE and WREQ in winter have the impact on the annual *** climate variables,WREQ showed a significant correlation(r=0.59)with minimum *** increase in WREQ and decrease in EFFPRE would exacerbate the agricultural water crisis in *** all changes in PET and WREQ,immediate actions are needed to address the challenges in agriculture and adapt to the changing climate.

Objective： To investigate the effects of hydro-alcoholic extract of Launaea acanthodes, a blood glucose lowering plant in folk medicine of Iran, on the structure of seminiferous tubules and serum gonadotropin and testosterone levels in hyperglycemic rats. Methods： Twenty-four Wistar rats were randomly allocated into 4 groups （n=6）： control, streptozotocin （STZ）, STZ ＋ insulin [STZ ＋ Ins, 5 IU/（kg·day）], and STZ ＋ Launaea acanthodes extract [STZ ＋ Ext, 150 mg/（kg·day）]. Blood samples were collected at the 2nd and 4th weeks for detection of testosterone, follicle stimulating hormone （FSH） and luteinizing hormone （LH） with enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay （ELISA）, and the dght testes of rats were removed at the 7th week for the evaluation of diameter and wall thickness of seminiferous tubules and number of Leydig cells using unbiased stereological techniques. Results： in comparison with the control group, at the 2nd week FSH （0.45 vs 0.03, 0.02, 0.02 lUlL in STZ, STZ ＋ Ins and STZ ＋ Ext groups, respectively） and LH （1.02 vs 0.37, 0.2, 0.29 IU/L） showed significant decreases （all P〈0.05） and testosterone （4.2 vs 8.37, 7.78, 11.8 ng/mL） showed a remarkable increase （all P〈0.05）. The levels of these hormones became closer in the STZ ＋ Ext and the STZ ＋ Ins groups to the control at the 4th week. A significant decrease in diameter and wall thickness of seminiferous tubules and number of Leydig cells were observed in the STZ group as compared with the control （P〈0.01）. Conclusions： Administration of Launaea extract demonstrated a beneficial impact on the protection of testis from pathogenic and degenerative effects of hyperglycemia which may be partly due to its potential antioxidative effects.

miRNA-183 family, in normal biology, is expressed in a harmonious and stable manner in the neurosensory organs and cells. Studies have also shown that miRNA-183 family, in different pathways, affects the neurosensory development, maintenance, survival and function. In addition, it has potential neuroprotective effects in response to neurosensory destructive stimulations. miRNA-96 mutation causes hereditary deafness in humans and mice, and therefore affects the inner ear activity and its maintenance. Certain roles have been identified for mi R-96 in the maintenance and function of the inner ear. The comparison of the target genes of family-183 in transcriptomes of newborn and adult hair cells shows that hundreds of target genes in this family may affect development and maintenance of the ears. Identifying the genes that are regulated by miRNA-183 family provides researchers with important information about the complex development and environmental regulation of the inner ear, and can offer new approaches to the maintenance and regeneration of hair cells and auditory nerve.

Previous studies have shown that insemination elicits the expansion of the natural FoxP3＋ regulatory T cell （Treg） pool in female reproductive tissue during mating. Further research demonstrated that this effect was due to seminal vesicle fluid. Indeed, seminal vesicle fluid causes differential recruitment of Tregs into different organs. The recruitment of Tregs into the brain occurs at the lowest rate than the other studied organs. In addition, Tregs are present at a lower frequency and/or have a reduced function in multiple sclerosis. These observations prompted us to investigate whether and how intracerebrospinal fluid （CSF） administration of seminal vesicle fluid affects experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis （EAE）, the most widely used animal model for multiple sclerosis. Our results suggest that seminal vesicle fluid contains all of the ligands required to activate the Treg pool and exhibits an anti-inflammatory effect on organs outside the reproductive system.

AIM:To conduct a cost-utility analysis of the teleretinopathy of prematurity(ROP)screening program against no ***:A decision tree model was developed to identify and treat the infants with threshold ROP through the tele-screening system compared with no screening program from the societal *** used the quality adjusted life years(QALY)index to measure the scenarios’effectiveness,which was discounted for the future years by *** hundred twenty-six randomly selected newborns with ROP required treatment were investigated to extract the treatment *** considered the direct medical and non-medical costs in cost calculations analysed by the bottom-up *** figures of the model’s inputs were calculated using the Monte Carlo simulation that generated 1000 random iteration of the data,and a one-way sensitivity analysis was performed on the model to cope with the potential ***:The total and per capita needed the budget to establish a tele-ROP screening system were estimated at over 1.5 million and 35.13 USD,*** total cost of identifying and treating an ROP case in tele-screening and no screening strategies were obtained as 108.72 and 63.52 USD,respectively,and their lifetime discounted QALY gained were calculated as 15.39 and 15.11,***,incremental cost-effectiveness ratio(ICER)of tele-screening strategy against the competitive strategy was achieved as 161.43 ***:Tele-ROP screening program is one of the most cost-effective interventions in the Iranian health system and has a high priority to receive a budget for implementation.

Auditory neuropathy is the particular form of deafness in humans which cannot be treated by replacement *** dental pulp stem cells(hDPSCs)are derived from an ectomesenchymal neural crest cell ***,they possess a promising capacity for neuronal differentiation and ***-124,a key regulator of neuronal development in the inner ear,is expressed at high levels in auditory and vestibular ***,we evaluated the possible effect of miR-124 in alteration of neural protein markers *** quantitative reverse transcription-PCR(qRT-PCR)analyses and immunofluorescence staining,we studied the expression patterns of neural progenitor markers(Nestin,NOTCH1,and SOX2)and neural markers(b-tubulin Ⅲ,GATA-3,and peripherin)upon transfection of hDPSCs with *** qRT-PCR results showed that Nestin was upregulated 6 h *** contrast,Nestin expression exhibited a decreasing trend 24 h and 48 h *** levels of b-tubulin Ⅲ,6 h and 16 h post transfection in RNA level as compared with control cells,were determined in transfected ***,b-tubulin-Ⅲ expression decreased 48 h *** immunoflourescence results indicated that transfection of hDPSCs with miR-124,only affected Nestin among the studied neural progenitor and neural marker expression in protein level.
