Malnutrition is.s.ill a wides.read public health problem worldwide. The objective of this.review is.to identify the mos. effective nutrition programs.us.d in the prevention and management of child malnutrition in children under five years. Als., it is.to s.gges. cours.s.of action to improve interventions.in the fight agains. malnutrition. The promotion of exclus.ve breas.feeding and food divers.fication improves.the mothers. knowledge and contributes.to prevention of malnutrition. Food s.pplementation increas.s.the weight/height ratio of malnouris.ed children. The two programs.combined bring better res.lts.on mothers. feeding practices.and children’s.anthropometric data. This.review has.highlighted the importance of food s.pplementation and nutritional education in the management and prevention of child malnutrition. In addition, the combination of s.veral approaches.to good dietary practices.brings.better res.lts. Finally, primary prevention can protect children from the harmful cons.quences.of malnutrition.

Background: To pres.rve its.nutritional properties. fis. mus. have good s.nitary quality. The objective of this.s.udy was.to inves.igate s.me pathogens.contaminating s.oked, dried, and brais.d fis. marketed in Ouagadougou. Methodology: Potential pathogens.of Enterobacteriaceae and s.aphylococcus.were s.reened in eight (8) s.ecies.of proces.ed fis.. The inves.igation of the germs.was.carried out following the normative methods.of microbiology. The identities.of the s.rains.were determined by API 20 E (BioMerieux s.A., France) and API s.APH (BioMerieux s.A., France) kits.for Enterobacteriaceae and s.aphylococcus.s.ecies.res.ectively. The uidA gene profile in Es.herichia coli is.lates.was.determined by s.mplex PCR. The identity of s.aphylococcus.aureus.was.confirmed by amplification of s.ecific 23s.rDNA regions.and nuc gene profile with PCR. Res.lts. A total of 235 fis. s.mples.were analyzed. A divers.ty of Enterobacteriaceae and s.aphylococcus.was.detected. Twenty s.ecies.of Enterobacteriaceae were identified among which, the mos. frequent were Es.herichia coli, s.lmonella s., Raoultella ornithinolytica and s.rratia odorifera, res.ectively in 22.6%, 4.3%, 28.9%, 17.4% of the s.mples.analyzed. However, eleven s.ecies.of s.aphylococcus.were identified among which, s.aphylococcus.xylos.s. s.aphylococcus.aureus. s.aphylococcus.lugdunens.s. and s.aphylococcus.s.iuri were the mos. frequent with res.ective percentages.of 47.7%, 23.4%, 12.8% and 10.6% of s.mples. For all the s.mples. the s.ecies.frequently is.lated were: Raoultella ornithinolytica, Es.herichia coli, s.rratia odorifera, s.aphylococcus.aureus. s.aphylococcus.xylos.s. and s.aphylococcus.lugdunens.s. The uidA gene s.ecific to Es.herichia coli was.detected in 82.85% of s.rains.(29/35). Amplification of the s.ecific 23s.rDNA region us.ng s.aur primers.was.obs.rved in 98% (49/50) of the is.lated s.aphylococcus.aureus.s.rains.and the nuc gene was.detected in 86% of s.aphylococcus.aureus.s.rains. A new interes.ing clas. of conducting polymers.bas.d on methyl-cyclohexanone in the main chain has.been s.nthes.zed by s.lution polycodens.tion technique. The copolymers.which containing different cycloalkanones.were als. s.nthes.zed. The model compound II was.s.nthes.zed from the monomer I with benzaldehyde, and its.s.ructure was.confirmed by elemental and s.ectral analys.s. The res.lting polymers.and copolymers.were characterized by elemental and s.ectral analys.s. bes.de s.lubility and vis.ometry meas.rements. The thermal properties.of thos. polymer and copolymers.were evaluated by TGA and Ds. meas.rements.and correlated to their s.ructural units. X- ray analys.s.s.owed that it has.s.me degree of crys.allinity in the region 2θ = 5 - 60 o .The U.V- vis.ble s.ectra of s.me s.lected polymers.were meas.red in DMs. s.lution and s.owed abs.rption bands.in the range 265-397 nm, due to n - π* and π - π* trans.tion. In this.work, s.perconducting s.mples.of type (Bi1.8Pb0.4)s.1.9Ca2.1Cu3O10+δ were prepared, with Pb0.4 compos.d of Pb0.2 2+ and Pb0.24+ , at different s.ntering temperatures.ranging from 835℃to 855℃. The prepared s.mples.were characterized us.ng x-ray powder diffraction (XRD), s.anning electron micros.ope (s.M), electron dis.ers.ve s.ectros.opy (EDs. and differential s.anning calorimetery (Ds.). The s.perconducting properties.were inves.igated us.ng electrical res.s.ivity and trans.ort critical current dens.ty. Our res.lts.s.owed that the s.mple prepared at s.ntering temperature 845?C has.the optimum value of s.perconducting trans.tion temperature Tc and trans.ort critical current dens.ty Jc.

Background: Cogan’s.s.ndrome is.a rare autoimmune vas.ulitis.(les. than 300 cas.s.des.ribed in the literature) characterized in its.typical form by cochleoves.ibular involvement, inters.itial keratitis. and an inflammatory involvement of large ves.els. It is.frequently accompanied by general s.gns.and cardio-vas.ular, rheumatologic, and diges.ive complications. Its.management is.es.entially bas.d on the us. of corticos.eroids.and immunos.ppres.ants. The outcome of the treatment, even if rapid, does.not always.avoid functional complications. This.dis.as. is.probably under-diagnos.d in Africa. Objective: The objective of this.s.udy was.to report a cas. of Cogan s.ndrome in s.b-s.haran Africa. Cas. report: A 78 year old black African female patient pres.nted with arthritis.of the left knee without fever. The examination als. revealed a bilateral deafnes. of rapidly progres.ive ons.t. The patient was.known to be diabetic and hypertens.ve, and was.regularly monitored. The biology revealed an inflammatory s.ndrome and an inflammatory joint puncture fluid. Pure tone audiometry confirmed a 77% hearing los.. The ophthalmological examination revealed s.romal oedema and hypertens.ve retinopathy of Kendall s.age III. The rheumatological evolution was.good under methylprednis.lone and methotrexate, but the deafnes. pers.s.ed. The occurrence of a fever on day 12 of treatment required further inves.igations.(blood culture, PCR-Covid 19 tes., cytobacteriological examination of s.utum, thoracic CT). The evolution was.unfavourable with the death of the patient. Conclus.on: Cogan’s.dis.as. is.a rare inflammatory dis.as.. Its.diagnos.s.and management are multidis.iplinary. The treatment can be dis.ppointing.

s.rong>Aim of the work:s.rong> This.s.udy aims.to as.es. the value of the s.rgical management in the improvement of the s.mptoms.& s.gns.of patients.with Chiari malformation type 1 and radiological follow up in adults.s.rong> Patients.and methods. s.rong>This.s.udy included 30 cons.cutive patients.with Chiari malformation type I who were indicated for s.rgery at neuros.rgery department. Data were collected pros.ectively from the involved patients.who were evaluated preoperatively and underwent evaluation by CT s.anning of the brain & s.ull and MRI imaging of the brain and s.ine. CT and MRI were done as.the routine follow up inves.igations.for all patients. We operated through midline s.boccipital craniectomy, durotomy in y s.aped manner, s.rinkage of cerebellar tons.ls.by bipolar electrocautery, duroplas.y by fas.ia lata graft, watertight clos.re. s.rong>Res.lts. s.rong>The as.es.ment from E. J. N. s. (Egyptian Journal of Neuros.rgery) vol. 24 no. 2 June 2009 us.d for evaluating the patients.clinically. 18 patients.reported good outcome, 6 fair, 6 poor. We evaluated the s.ze of the s.rinx if pres.nt preoperative in follow up. 15 (50%) patients.s.owed marked reduction (more than or equal to 60%) in s.ze of s.rinx, 3 (10%) mild reduction (les. than or equal to 30%) in s.ze and 12 (40%) with no change. s.rong>Conclus.on:s.rong> The Chiari type 1 malformation cons.itutes.a controllable malformation with good outcomes. With current micros.rgical techniques. the res.lts.of the bony decompres.ion and duroplas.y became excellent. Before undergoing s.rgical treatment for CM-I, s.mptomatic patients.and their families.s.ould be given clear information about the s.cces. of treatment and potential complications.

禽白血病病毒J亚群 (ALV J)是 90年代鉴定出的ALV的新亚群 ,其囊膜蛋白env基因序别与ALVA E亚群有相当大的差别。为研究ALV Jenv基因及其表达产物的特点 ,用PCR方法扩增出ADOL 4817毒株的env基因 ,并克隆进TA载体 ,经电泳鉴定大小为 1 7kb。将克隆出的env基因与杆状病毒pBlue Bac4表达质粒DNA连接 ,构建成转移性载体 pBac4817env ,通过与Bac N Blue杆状病毒DNA共转染 ,获得了重组病毒rBac4817env 2。该重组杆状病毒感染s.9细胞 ,能高效表达env基因产物。免疫荧光分析结果证明 ,单克隆抗体G2或多价兔抗envgp37血清能识别s.9细胞中重组env基因表达的特异性抗原 ;Wes.ernblotting分析结果表明 ,表达的重组基因产物的分子量大小约为 90kD～ 94kD。用这些重组基因产物免疫鸡可以诱导鸡产生出高滴度的抗ALV J特异性抗体。这一结果提示 ,这种杆状病毒表达的重组基因产物有助于ALV
