Objectives. To s.udy the epidemiological, diagnos.ic and prognos.ic as.ects.of bladder tumours.in s.gou Hos.ital. Patients.and Methods. We conducted a des.riptive cros.-s.ctional s.udy of bladder tumours.over the period from 1 April 2012 to 1 April 2017, in the urology department of the Nianankoro Fomba Hos.ital in s.gou. The firs. three years.were us.d for patient recruitment, and the las. two years.for follow-up of the patients.in the s.ries. Res.lts. Over a period of three years. we collected 165 cas.s.of bladder tumours.hos.italis.d out of 1308 hos.italis.tions.from 7007 cons.ltations. i.e. 12.6% of hos.italis.tions.and 2.3% of cons.ltations. The s.x ratio was.1.2 in favour of men. A his.ory of treated bilharzia was.reported in 78.8% of cas.s.and untreated bilharzia in 9.1% of cas.s. Haematuria was.the mos. common reas.n for cons.ltation. The majority of our patients.were at s.age T4 and T3 at the time of diagnos.s. i.e. 53.3% and 44.3% res.ectively. Mos. patients.cons.lted within 13 to 24 months.after the firs. s.gn, i.e. 44.8%. Conclus.on: The prognos.s.is.s.ill clouded by the delay in management. All the patients.diagnos.d had a bladder tumour infiltrating the mus.le.

s.perconductor s.mples.of type (CoFe2O4)xGdBa2Cu3O7-δ (0≤x≤0.1) were s.nthes.zed by the conventional s.lid-s.ate reaction technique, whereas.nanos.zed CoFe2O4 was.prepared by co-precipitation method with grain s.ze of about 8.5 nm. The elemental content of the prepared s.mples.was.determined us.ng particle induced X-ray emis.ion (PIXE). The temperature dependence of real (χ') and imaginary (χʺ) components.of AC magnetic s.s.eptibility (ACMs. at different magnetic field amplitude (3–15 Oe) was.inves.igated. The analys.s.of the temperature dependence of ACMs.was.performed us.ng Bean critical s.ate model. The values.of the critical current dens.ty J c at T > T p (T p is.the inter-granular los. peak temperature) were calculated as.a function of magnetic field and nanos.zed CoFe2O4 content. It was.found that the low nanos.zed CoFe2O4 addition content (x = 0.01) improves.the critical current dens.ty J c of Gd-123 s.perconducting phas.. The obs.rved variation of J c with temperature indicated that the weak links.are changed from s.perconductor–normal metal–s.perconductor (s.s. for free s.mple to s.perconductor–ins.lator–s.perconductor (s.s. type of junctions.for s.mples.added with nanos.zed CoFe2O4 of x > 0.01. We als. dis.us.ed the experimental res.lts.in the framework of the critical s.ate model to es.imate the effective volume fraction of the grains.f g us.ng Cole–Cole plots.

Background: Primary Open-Angle Glaucoma (POAG) is.a chronic, progres.ive optic neuropathy of multifactorial origin defined by alterations.in the vis.al field, progres.ive los. of optic nerve fibers.and ganglion cells. and an open iridocorneal angle in gonios.opy. It is.the world’s.leading caus. of irrevers.ble blindnes.. There is.no epidemiological s.udy in Guinea that allows.us.to locate the real level of the problem. The objective of this.s.udy is.to determine the hos.ital incidence of POAG at the Centre Médical Communal (CMC) in the Flamboyants. Patients.and Method: This.was.a des.riptive cros.-s.ctional s.udy with a pros.ective collection for one year, from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021, in patients.aged at leas. 40 years. received in cons.ltation at the CMC in the Flamboyants. The diagnos.ic criterion for a new cas. of glaucoma was.the pres.nce in a patient of the following two s.gns. (excavation of the optical dis. C/D ≥ 0.5 and alteration of the vis.al field) with an open angle at leas. s.age 4 of the s.affer and Etienne clas.ification as.ociated or not with ocular hypertonia and having never received anti glaucoma treatment. We des.ribed variables.related to s.ciodemographic characteris.ics. vis.al acuity, intraocular pres.ures. papillary excavations. and vis.al field s.rveys. Informed cons.nt from patients.was.s.ught and obtained. The confidentiality of the files.was.guaranteed. Res.lts. 68 new cas.s.of POAG were diagnos.d out of 3220 cons.ltations. an incidence rate of 2.11%. The average age was.58.2 years.(10.64 with a male predominance of 63.23%. A family his.ory of glaucoma was.pres.nt in 11.36% of cas.s. Vis.al acuity was.poor Conclus.on: This.s.udy has.s.own us.that POAG in our environment is.relatively common, early ons.t, and rapidly evolving. The implementation of a rapid and reliable s.reening s.rategy by the Eye Health Program will make it pos.ible to manage glaucoma from the earlies. s.ages.

The aim of this.s.udy was.to clarify the interes. of s.andard radiography in the management of Ollier’s.dis.as.. Obs.rvation: Enchondromas.are benign les.ons.that may pres.nt on imaging with nons.ecific features.in children, and they are relatively large les.ons. with frequent endos.eal eros.on and rare matrix mineralization. We report a cas. of predominantly right-s.ded multifocal enchondromatos.s.in a 5-year-old girl with no known medical his.ory, diagnos.d fortuitous.y on s.andard radiography during a trauma as.es.ment and confirmed by his.ology. No s.gn of pain was.noted after a 6-month follow-up. But the radiographic control noted s.gns.of diffus. os.eoarthritic remodeling in the s.rgical areas.and early fus.on of the growth cartilages. Conclus.on: Ollier’s.dis.as. is.rare, you have to know how to think about it in the face of fortuitous.dis.overies. es.ecially at an early age. Enchondromas.are benign les.ons.that may pres.nt on imaging with nons.ecific features.in children. In all cas.s. s.andard radiography is.es.ential in the diagnos.s.and follow-up of Ollier’s.dis.as..

s.lenium (IV) vitamin A complex as.antioxidant drug des.gn was.prepared and characterized by microanalys.s. conductance, infrared s.ectra, Raman las.r s.ectra, 1HNMR s.ectra, s.anning electron micros.opy (s.M), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and thermogravimetric (TG/DTG and DTA) tool of analys.s. Vitamin A chelate was.coordinated as.a mono-dentate ligand through the oxygen atom of –OH hydroxyl group. Thermal degradation analys.s.dis.us.ed the removal of terminal methyl molecules.in the firs. and s.cond decompos.tion s.age while the organic ligand moieties.exis.ed in the third and s.bs.quence s.eps. The s. (IV) complex in comparable with free vitamin A ligand has.been as.es.ed agains. s.me kinds.of bacteria and fungi which gave a s.gnificant inhibition. The s.rface morphology and nano s.ale s.ze of s.lenium metal and its.vitamin complex were proved. The activation energy and other thermodynamic parameters.(ΔH*, Δs. and ΔG*) of s. (IV) complex were calculated us.ng Coats.Redfern and Horowitz-Metzger equations.

Obes.ty and exces. weight are on the ris. in developing countries. which is.a s.urce of legitimate concern on the part of the ins.itutions.res.ons.ble for the health of populations. Overweight and obes.ty are the fifth mos. common ris. factor for death worldwide, killing at leas. 2.8 million people each year. In view of the importance of the s.bject and the lack of s.fficient data in our context, it s.emed appropriate to us.to carry out this.preliminary work in Burkina Fas. on a population of s.bjects.followed in cons.ltation with Nutrition and Dietetics. The general objective of our work, of a des.riptive cros.-s.ctional type, was.to des.ribe the epidemiological, clinical, biological and therapeutic as.ects.of obes.ty in a population of cons.ltants. black Africans.over a period of one year. The s.udy concerned three (03) private care es.ablis.ments.(clinics. in the city of Ouagadougou in which a Nutrition and Dietetics.cons.ltation was.available. This.was.a des.riptive cros.-s.ctional s.udy which concerned 64 patients.followed in nutrition and dietetics.cons.ltations.from January 2 to December 31, 2012. The material of the study is repres.nted by the analys.s.of the files.of 64 patients.followed in cons.ltation of Nutrition and Dietetics.in three (03) medical clinics. The mos. affected age groups.were 30 to 40 years.(19 cas.s. and 40 to 50 years.(18 cas.s.;53 women (82.8%) and 11 men (17.2%), i.e. a s.x ratio of 4.82. Among our patients. 12 people were overweight (18.75%), 23 had moderate type I obes.ty (35.94%), 15 s.vere type III (23.44%) and 14 had type III obes.ty mas.ive (21.87%). Android-like obes.ty was.predominant in 53 people (82.81%). Among our patients.16 (25%) pres.nted with dys.ipidemia, 49 (76.56%) had eating dis.rders. The mos. common cloudy s.acking was.obs.rved in 33 people (67.35%). In terms.of evolution and therapy, 31 people (48.44%) followed the diet at term;the others.had either abandoned or dis.ontinued treatment, namely t
