AIM:The most important side effect of methotrexate(MTX)is *** purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of turmeric extract on intestinal damage and oxidative stress in rats receiving ***:Experiments were performed on male Wistar albino rats divided into six *** group received normal saline orally,the second group received turmeric extract(100 mg·kg-1)orally for 30 days,the third group received turmeric extract(200 mg·kg)orally for 30 days,the fourth group received a single dose of methotrexate(20 mg·kg)*** day 30,the fifth group received turmeric extract(100 mg·kg)orally for 30 days and a single dose of methotrexate(20 mg·kg)*** day 30,and the sixth group received turmeric extract(200 mg·kg)orally for 30days and single dose of methotrexate(20 mg·kg)*** day *** days after methotrexate injection,animals were anesthetized,blood samples were taken to determine total antioxidant status(TAS)and jejunum samples were taken for glutathione peroxidase(GPx),superoxidase dismutase(SOD),catalase(CAT),aldehyde malondialdehyde(MDA),and histopathological ***: Microscopic evaluation from intestinal tissues of the MTX treated group,showed severe villus shortening and blunting,inflammatory cell infiltration and hemorrhage in lamina propria,along with epithlial cell *** of SOD,GSH-Px and CAT decreased in the MTX received group,but increased significantly(P<0.05)in the turmeric+MTX *** increased lipid peroxidation,however,turmeric decreased peroxidation significantly(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:These results suggest that turmeric extract may protect the small intestine of rats from methotrexate-induced *** effects could result from its antioxidant properties.

Redesigning of complex products is not an easy task. Engineering change requirements can be extracted at any stage of the product redesign process, and it makes the management of engineering change become a challenging mission. The motivation for this study is to find the shortest path of behavioral change propagation (BCP), minimize the BCP, access to the special behavioral elements in order to better managing the BCP and classifying the behavioral attribute of the elements in terms of their relationship to change by betweenness centrality coefficient (BNCC), clustering coefficient (CLC), reachability coefficient (RC) and change propagation index (CPI). In this article, the procedure of managerial decision-making is proposed by combining system restrictions in behavioral clustering design structure matrix (BCDSM) with optimization algorithms. The practicality of suggested method is verified in redesign procedure of a phantom drone camera stabilizer as a case study. The results, indicate that the absorption of change by behavioral elements is dominant in the mechanical (63.9%), electrical (61.1%) and thermal (38.9%) behaviors of the drone camera stabilizer system in redesign process. These elements are best candidates for reducing the cost and time of behavioral changes in the system redesign and are desirable for the designer.

New Solution of Substrate Concentration in the Biosensor Response by Discrete Homotopy Analysis Method

In this article, Discrete Homotopy Analysis Method (DHAM), as a new numerical method, is employed to investigate amperometric biosensor at mixed enzyme kinetics and diffusion limitation. Mathematical modeling of the problem is developed utilizing non-Michaelis-Menten kinetics of the enzymatic reaction. Different results are obtained for different values of the dimensionless parameters described in the paper. The presented solution is then compared with the available actual and simulated results.

The role of water in the formation of the first human habitats is a response to a biological need. But when above a need, home building and constructing residential complexes have a cultural meaning, architecture is emerged and water in human life has an artistic place and it is originated from the creativity of the artists and architects. Understanding the concept of water in architecture is understanding the concept of water architecture. Understanding the physical laws of water behavior is our emotions to the interaction of water and most importantly the role and allegory and its relationship with human life. Water is a paradoxical metaphor and along with soil, fire and air, consists of the four comprising elements of the universe. If someone asks us to define water, we say it is a colorless liquid which is the source of life, but is it really the definition of water in architecture and only in terms of the physical aspect, it is an interface between man and architecture? To answer this question, first we examine the available resources in this field and desk studies about the architectural spirit and then examine the water hidden side and the way it affects humans and architecture through descriptive-analytical method, so by contemplating in them, the question can also be answered. From the beginning, water was a vital element not only for the body but for the soul.

Whole rock major and trace element geochemistry together with zircon U-Pb ages and Sr-Nd isotope compositions for the Middle Eocene intrusive rocks in the Haji abad region are presented. The granitoid hosts, including granodiorite and diorite, yielded zircon U-Pb ages with a weighted mean value of 40.0 ± 0.7 Ma for the granodiorite phase. Mafic microgranular enclaves(MMEs) are common in these plutons, and have relatively low SiO_2 contents(53.04-57.08 wt.%) and high Mg#(42.6-60.1), probably reflecting a mantle-derived origin. The host rocks are metaluminous(A/CNK = 0.69-1.03), arc-related calc-alkaline, and I-type in composition, possessing higher SiO_2 contents(59.7-66.77 wt.%) and lower Mg#(38.6-52.2); they are considered a product of partial melting of the mafic lower crust. Chondritenormalized REE patterns of the MMEs and granitoid hosts are characterized by LREE enrichment and show slight negative Eu anomalies(Eu/Eu* = 0.60-0.93). The host granodiorite samples yield(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr);ratios ranging from 0.70498 to 0.70591,positive eNd(t) values varying from +0.21 to +2.3, and TDM2 ranging from 760 to 909 Ma, which is consistent with that of associated mafic microgranular enclaves(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)i = 0.705111-0.705113, ε_(Nd)(t)= +2.14 to +2.16, T_(DM2) = 697-785 Ma). Petrographic and geochemical characterization together with bulk rock Nd-Sr isotopic data suggest that host rocks and associated enclaves originated by interaction between basaltic lower crust-derived felsic and mantlederived mafic magmas in an active continental margin arc environment.

One of the issues that geomorphology researchers have focused on is to trace the geomorphic effects and the snow lines in the Quaternary glaciers in Iran. This research has been carried out in the valleys of the southern slopes of Alvand Kuh Mountains, namely the Serkan and Mobarakabad valleys. The equilibrium line altitude between current and ancient glaciers is one of the parameters that is used as a variation indicator of climate. There are several ways to rebuild this parameter (Ancient ELA). Equilibrium Line altitude requires the accurate knowledge of glacial geomorphic landforms and evidence. According to Kuhle, Hofer and Luis methods, providing and estimating the ancient and permanent snow lines were carried out in this research during field operations within several intervals and the glacial geomorphic evidences were identified such as circuses, sidebar moraines and terminal moraines. The six glacier subwatersheds were developed in a study area based on Kuhle, Hofer and Luis methods in which only two valleys of Serkan 3 and Mubarak abad 3 had a high degree of accuracy in their ELA drop rate and old snow lines. It should be noted that the current snowlines of the current study area are 4400 m and 1400 m (based on the Schweitzer map). The results of the estimated snow lines for each of the six valleys are shown in Table 4. At the present study, the main of the Mobarak abad valley area was divided to six glacial valleys which are called Serkan 1, 2, 3 and Mobarak abad 1, 2, 3 and then several layers were provided, including cirque layers, moraine layers, primary and secondary crest layers, high crest layers, 10-meter DEM layer, highlight, different contour line layers and valleys profiles and finally, the ultimate map of glacial geomorphology of Serkan and Mobarak abad valleys was prepared.

Determination of the infiltration rate in a watershed is not easy and in empirical and theoretical point of view, it is important to access average value of infiltration. Infiltration models has main role in managing water sources. Therefore different types of models with various degrees of complexity were developed to reach this aim. Most of the estimating methods of soil infiltration are expensive and time consuming and these methods estimate infiltration with hypothesis of zero slope. One of the conceptual and physical models for estimating soil infiltration is Green-Ampt model which is similar to Richard model. This model uses slope factor in estimating infiltration and this is the power point of Green-Ampt model. In this research the empirical model of Green-Ampt was optimized with integrating artificial neural network model (ANN) and a model of geographical information system WMS to estimate the infiltration in Kakasharaf watershed. Results of the comparison between the output of this method and real value of infiltration in region (through multiple cylinders) showed that this method can estimate the infiltration rate of Kakasharaf watershed with low error and acceptable accuracy (Nash-Sutcliff performance coefficient 0.821, square error 0.216, correlation coefficient 0.905 and model error 0.024).

Disorder Effect on the Transmission of Second Harmonic Waves in One-Dimensional Periodically Poled LiTaO<sub>3</sub>

One of the methods for calculating electromagnetic wave dispersion in multi-layer structures is the transfer matrix method. In this paper, we use the transfer matrix method for second harmonic generation in a nonlinear multilayer structure. The nonlinear photonic crystals investigated in this paper are as one-dimensional multi-layered structures including ferroelectric materials such as LiTaO3. Our goal is to investigate the effect of the disorder on the transmission spectrum of electromagnetic waves. Our results showed that positional disorder has different effects on the transmitting band and the gap band. The disorder in the transmitting band reduces the transmission coefficient of the waves and increases the transmission coefficient of the waves in the gap band. Such work has not yet been done on nonlinear photonic crystals producing the second harmonic.
