Magnesium hydride(Mgh_(2))is the most feasible and effective solid-state hydrogen storage material,which has excellent reversibility but initiates decomposing at high temperatures and has slow kinetics ***,zinc titanate(Zn_(2)TiO_(4))synthesised by the solid-state method was used as an additive to lower the initial temperature for dehydrogenation and enhance the re/dehydrogenation behaviour of Mgh_(2).With the presence of Zn_(2)TiO_(4),the starting temperature for the dehydrogenation of Mgh_(2)was remarkably lowered to around 290℃–305℃.In addition,within 300 s,the Mgh_(2)–Zn_(2)TiO_(4)sample absorbed 5.0 wt.%of h_(2)and 2.2–3.6 wt.%h_(2)was liberated from the composite sample in 30 min,which is faster by 22–36 times than as-milled Mgh_(2).The activation energy of the Mgh_(2)for the dehydrogenation process was also downshifted to 105.5 k J/mol with the addition of Zn_(2)TiO_(4)indicating a decrease of 22%than as-milled Mgh_(2).The superior behaviour of Mgh_(2)was due to the formation of Mg Zn_(2),MgO and MgTiO_(3),which are responsible for ameliorating the re/dehydrogenation behaviour of Mgh_(2).These findings provide a new understanding of the hydrogen storage behaviour of the catalysed-Mgh_(2)system.

An experimental study of the synergistic effects of BMIM-BF_4,BMIM-DCA and TEACI aqueous solutions on methane hydrate formation

In this work, the effects of three ionic liquids(ILs), namely, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium dicyanamide and tetraethyl-ammonium chloride, on methane hydrate formation and dissociation kinetic parameters were studied. The kinetic parameters including the initial rate of hydrate formation, hydrate stability at atmospheric pressure and hydrate storage capacity were evaluated. The experimental measurements were performed in an initial pressure range of 3.5-7.1 MPa. It was found that both of ILs with imidazolium-based cation increase the initial methane hydrate formation rate while the IL with ammonium-based cation leads to a decrease in the initial methane hydrate formation rate. It was also interpreted from the results that all of the three studied ILs decrease methane hydrate stability at atmospheric pressure and increase methane hydrate storage capacity. Finally, both of ILs with imidazolium-based cations were found to have higher impacts on decreasing hydrate stability at atmospheric pressure and increasing the methane hydrate storage capacity than the applied IL with ammonium-based cation.

Performance Behaviour Analysis of the Present 3-Level Cache System for Multi-Core Processors

In this paper, a study related to the expected performance behaviour of present 3-level cache system for multi-core systems is presented. For this a queuing model for present 3-level cache system for multi-core processors is developed and its possible performance has been analyzed with the increase in number of cores. Various important performance parameters like access time and utilization of individual cache at different level and overall average access time of the cache system is determined. Results for up to 1024 cores have been reported in this paper.

Crystallization Conditions and Petrogenesis of the Paleoproterozoic Basement Rocks in Bangladesh:An Evaluation of Biotite and Coexisting Amphibole Mineral Chemistry

The Paleoproterozoic （-1.73 Ga） basement rocks from Maddhapara, Bangladesh show a large range of chemical variations including diorite, quartz diorite, monzodiorite, quartz monzonite and granite. These are composed of varying proportions of quartz＋plagioclase＋K-feldspar＋biotite＋ hornblende±epidote＋titanite＋magnetite＋apatite and zircon. Amphibole and biotite, dominant ferro- magnesian minerals, have been analyzed with an electron microprobe. The biotite, Mg-dominant trioc- tahedral micas, is classified as phlogopitic nature. Relatively high Mg （1.33-1.53 pfu）, Mg^# （0.52-0.59） and low AIw （0.13-0.25 pfu） contents in the biotite reflect slightly fractionated magma, which might be a relative indicator for the origin of the parental magma. Biotite is also a very good sensor of oxidation state of the parental magma. Oxygen fugacity of the studied biotites estimate within the QFM and hM buffers and equilibrate at about -12.35 and -12.46, which exhibit the source materials were relatively higher oxidation state during crystallization and related to arc magmatism. Whereas, calcic amphi- boles, a parental member of arc-related igneous suite, display consistent oxygen fugacity values （-11.7 to -12.3）, low Al^# （0.16-0.21） with h2Omelt （5.6 wt.%-9.5 wt.%） suggest their reliability with the typical values of calc-alkaline magma crystallization. The oxygen fugacity of magma is related to its source material, which in turn depends on tectonic setting. Discrimination diagrams and chemical indices of both biotite and amphibole of dioritic rocks reveal calc-alkaline orogenic complexes; mostly I-type suite formed within subduction-related environments. Moreover, igneous micas are used as metal- logenic indicator. The biotites with coexisting amphibole compositions show an apparent calc-alkaline trend of differentiation. The study suggests that the trend of oxidized magmas is commonly associated with compressive tectonic and convergent plate boundaries.

Using Portable Gamma-Ray Spectrometry for Testing Uranium Migration: A Case Study from the Wadi El Kareim Alkaline Volcanics,Central Eastern Desert, Egypt

The 300±20 Ma anomalously radioactive trachytes of Wadi El Kareim, central Eastern Desert, are a significant example of U-mineralization related to the alkaline volcanics in Egypt. Extensive portable gamma-ray spectrometric data has been utilized to identify geological factors controlling uranium mobility in the geological units along the three detailed study locations of Kab Al-Abyad, South Wadi(W) Al-Tarafawy and W. Al-Farkhah; their eT h/eU ratios averaging around 4.1, 3.7 and 5.6 respectively. Quantitative analysis with the integration of mobility maps and geological studies suggest two systems controlling U-migration within the geological units(confined system and unconfined system). In the confined system, the syngenetically formed U have experienced mobility after leaching and are redistributed in the presence of an incorporation carrier during transportation(probably as carbonate complexes). Then the retardant for uranium is achieved by sorption or by coprecipitation with the aid of Fe oxy-hydroxide, and finally the formation of immobile secondary U-bearing minerals takes place along a lithogeochemical trap. In contrast to the confined system, the unconfined one is basically lacking the lithogeochemical trap which influences the final accumulation of U-bearing minerals. The radioactivity of the trachyte rocks arises from the radioactive minerals uranophane and betauranophane with U-and/or Th-bearing minerals samarskite, Th-rich REE silicates, monazite and allanite.

Sodium-dependent glucose transporter 2 inhibitors(SGLT2i)have been increa-singly used with proven efficacy in patients with heart failure(hF),regardless of diabetes ***ćRotkvićet al recently published an observational study on SGLT2i therapy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and asymptomatic *** found that the use of SGLT2i led to reduced cardiac load and improved cardiovascular performance,reinforcing the evolving paradigm that SGLT2i are not merely glucose-lowering agents but are integral to the broader management of cardiovascular risk in patients with type 2 diabetes *** study by GrubićRotkvićet al contributes to the growing body of literature supporting the early use of SGLT2i in patients with diabetic cardiomyopathy,offering a potential strategy to mitigate the progression of *** larger studies should be con-ducted to confirm these findings,and explore the long-term cardiovascular bene-fits of SGLT2i,particularly in asymptomatic patients at risk of developing hF.

In this paper, synthesis and anticancer activities of morpholine hydrazones scaffold（1-17） thoroughly studied. Small series of morpholine hydrazones synthesized by treating 5-morpholinothiophene-2-carbaldehyde with different aryl hydrazides to form morpholine hydrazones scaffold（1-17）. The in vitro anticancer potential of all these compounds was checked against human cancer cell lines like hep G2（human hepatocellular liver carcinoma） and MCF-7（human breast adenocarcinoma）. Analogs 13 had similar substantial cytotoxic effects towards hep G2 with IC_（50） value 6.31±1.03μmmol/L when compared with the standard Doxorubicin（IC_（50）value 6.00±0.80μmmol/L）; while compounds 5,8 and 9 showed potent cytotoxicity against MCF-7 with IC_（50） value 7.08±0.42μmmol/L, 1.26±0.34μmmol/L and11.22±0.22μmmol/L respectively when compared with the standard Tamoxifen（IC_（50）= 11.00±0.40μmol/L）. Molecular docking studies also performed to understand the binding interaction.

Novel synthesis of stabilized Bi_(1-x-y)Gd_(x)Dy_(y)O_(1.5) solid electrolytes with enhanced conductivity for intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells(SOFCs)

herein,we report the synthesis of a Dy-Gd co-doped cubic phase-stabilized Bi_(2)O_(3) solid electrolyte system via solid-state processing under atmospheric *** with Dy^(3+) and Gd^(3+) has been observed to significantly enhance the densification process during sintering for stabilization purposes,thereby improving the electrical properties of δ-Bi_(2)O_(3)-type *** synthesized ceramics were characterized using X-ray diffraction(XRD),field emission scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(FESEM-EDX),thermal gravimetry/differential thermal analysis(TG/DTA),and the four-point probe technique(4PPT).XRD analysis reveals that the samples Bi_(1-x-y)Gd_(x)Dy_(y)O_(1.5)(y=0.05/x=0.05,0.10,0,15,and 0.20,and x=0.05/y=0.10,0.15,and 0.20) exhibit a stable face-centered cubic δ-phase and a mixed-phase crystallographic *** XRD analysis of the stabilized δ-phase suggests that the prepared oxides show a face-centered cubic(FCC) structure with a space group of *** micrographs reveal that the composition Bi_(0.90)Gd_(0.05)Dy_(0.05)O_(1.5) has no significant ***,an evident increase in the pore formation is observed as the amount of Gd_(2)O_(3) increases until it reaches 20%.This finding suggests that dense pellets are formed during the sintering process at 900-1000℃.The DTA analyses were performed to verify the phase stability,which agrees with the XRD *** electrochemical performance of the synthesized Dy-Gd co-doped Bi_(2)O_(3)solid electrolyte system was evaluated and analyzed in detail by using the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) technique,Based on EIS and conductivity measurements,Bi_(0.75)Gd_(0.20)Dy_(0.05)O_(1.5) exhibits the lowest activation energy of 0.519 eV and the highest conductivity value of 0.398 S/cm at 627℃compared to the other samples;this composition can be used as a solid electrolyte for intermediatetemperature solid oxide fuel cells(SOFCs).

Barchan dunes are among the most common accumulative phenomena made by wind erosion,which are usually formed in regions where the prevailing wind direction is almost constant throughout the year and there is not enough sand to completely cover the land *** are among the most common windy landscapes in Pashoueyeh Erg in the west of Lut Desert,*** study aims to elaborate on morphological properties of barchans in this region using mathematical and statistical *** results of these methods are very important in investigating barchan shapes and identifying their *** shapes were mathematically modeled by simulating them in the coordinate system through nonlinear parabolic equations,so that two separate equations were calculated for barchan windward and slip-face *** type and intensity of relationships between barchan morphology and mathematical parameters were determined by the statistical *** results indicated that the existing relationships followed the power correlation with the maximum coefficient of determination and minimum error of *** the above two methods is a powerful basis for stimulating barchans in virtual and laboratory *** most important result of this study is to convert the mathematical and statistical models of barchan morphology to each *** length is one of the most important parameters of barchan parabolas,suggesting different states of barchans in comparison with each *** the barchan's focal length decreases,its opening becomes narrower,and the divergence of the barchan's horns *** with longer focal length have greater width,dimensions,and *** general,identifying and estimating the morphometric and planar parameters of barchans is effective in how they move,how much they move,and how they behave in the *** cases play an important role in the management of desert areas.

The practicality of Malaysia dengue outbreak forecasting model as an early warning system

Dengue is a harmful tropical disease that causes death to many ***,the dengue vaccine development is still at an early stage,and only intervention methods exist after dengue cases ***,previously,two scientific experimental field studies were conducted in producing a dengue outbreak forecasting model as an early warning ***,an Autoregressive Distributed Lag(ADL)Model was developed using three factors:the epidemiological,entomological,and environmental with an accuracy of 85%;but a higher percentage is required in minimizing the error for the model to be ***,this study aimed to develop a practical and cost-effective dengue outbreak forecasting model with at least 90%accuracy to be embedded in an early warning computer system using the Internet of Things(IoT)***-one weeks of time series data of the three factors were used in six forecasting models,which were Autoregressive Distributed Lag(ADL),hierarchical Forecasting(Bottom-up and Optimal combination)and three Machine Learning methods:(Artificial Neural Network(ANN),Support Vector Machine(SVM)and Random Forest).Five error measures were used to evaluate the consistency performance of the models in order to ensure model *** findings indicated Random Forest outperformed the other models with an accuracy of 95%when including all three *** practically,collecting mosquito related data(the entomological factor)was very costly and time ***,it was removed from the model,and the accuracy dropped to 92%but still high enough to be of practical use,i.e.,beyond 90%.however,the practical ground operationalization of the early warning system also requires several rain gauges to be located at the dengue hot spots due to localized ***,further analysis was conducted in determining the location of the rain *** has led to the recommendation that the rain gauges should be located about 3e4 km apart at the dengue hot spots to ensure
