Background Monocular depth estimation aims to predict a dense depth map from a single RGB image,and has important applications in 3D reconstruction,automatic driving,and augmented ***,existing methods directly feed the original RGB image into the model to extract depth features without avoiding the interference of depth-irrelevant information on depth-estimation accuracy,which leads to inferior *** To remove the influence of depth-irrelevant information and improve the depth-prediction accuracy,we propose RADepthNet,a novel reflectance-guided network that fuses boundary ***,our method predicts depth maps using the following three steps:(1)Intrinsic Image *** propose a reflectance extraction module consisting of an encoder-decoder structure to extract the depth-related *** an ablation study,we demonstrate that the module can reduce the influence of illumination on depth estimation.(2)Boundary Detection.A boundary extraction module,consisting of an encoder,refinement block,and upsample block,was proposed to better predict the depth at object boundaries utilizing gradient constraints.(3)Depth Prediction *** use an encoder different from(2)to obtain depth features from the reflectance map and fuse boundary features to predict *** addition,we proposed FIFADataset,a depth-estimation dataset applied in soccer *** Extensive experiments on a public dataset and our proposed FIFADataset show that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance.

Ebola virus disease(EVD)has mostly affected economically deprived countries as limited resources adversely affect a country’s infrastructure and *** into the factors that led to the widespread outbreak,setting forth plans to counter EVD cases in developing countries,and devising definitive measures to limit the spread of the disease are essential steps that must be immediately *** this review we summarize the pathogenesis of EVD and the factors that led to its *** also highlight interventions employed by certain countries that have successfully limited the epidemic,and add a few preventive measures after studying the current *** to the available data,barriers to prevent and control the disease in affected countries include irresolute and disorganized health systems,substandard sanitary conditions,poor personal hygiene practices,and false beliefs and stigma related to *** public health sector along with the respective chief authorities in developing countries must devise strategies,keeping the available resources in mind,to deal with the outbreak before it *** a first step,communities should be educated on EVD’s symptoms,history,mode of transmission,and methods of protection,including the importance of personal hygiene practices,via seminars,newspapers,and other social media.A popular opinion leader(POL)giving this information would further help to remove the misconception about the nature of the disease and indirectly improve the quality of life of affected patients and their families.

The substitution box(S-box)is a fundamentally important component of symmetric key *** S-box is a primary source of non-linearity in modern block ciphers,and it resists the linear *** approaches have been adopted to construct S-boxes.S-boxes are commonly constructed over commutative and associative algebraic structures including Galois fields,unitary commutative rings and cyclic and non-cyclic finite *** this paper,first a non-associative ring of order 512 is obtained by using computational techniques,and then by this ring a triplet of 8×8 S-boxes is *** motivation behind the designing of these S-boxes is to upsurge the robustness and broaden the key space due to non-associative and noncommutative behavior of the algebraic structure under consideration.A novel color image encryption application is anticipated in which initially these 3 S-boxes are being used to produce confusion in three layers of a standard RGB ***,for the sake of diffusion 3D Arnold chaotic map is used in the proposed encryption scheme.A comparison with some of existing chaos and S-box dependent color image encryption schemes specs the performance results of the anticipated RGB image encryption and observed as approaching the standard prime level.
