Ephedroid macrofossils have been widely documented in Cretaceous deposits,including numerous from the Lower Cretaceous Yixian Formation of NE ***,few ephedroid macrofossils have been reported from South ***,we describe a new plant of the family Ephedraceae,Arlenea delicata *** ***.,from the Lower Cretaceous Crato Formation of the Araripe Basin,Northeast Brazil,based on the vegetative and reproductive *** has the typical morphological characteristics of ephedroid plants,including fertile reproductive branches,opposite phyllotaxy,terminal female cones,a sympodial branching system,longitudinally striated internodes,and swollen *** new finding is unusual in having inner chlamydosperms subtended by two pairs of bracts,reproductive units connected to branches through swollen receptacles and a smooth seed *** new ephedroid taxon from the Crato Formation increases our understanding of plant diversity of this group during the Early ***,the general morphology(fleshy bracts and enlarged receptacles)of this new fossil discovery indicates that seeds of this plant may have been dispersed by animals such as pterosaurs(mainly the Tapejaridae)and birds(Enantiornithes and Ornituromorpha).If true,this would explain the cosmopolitan distribution of Ephedraceae in the Lower Cretaceous.

The emergence of Accountable Care Organizations(ACOs)in the landscape of the *** system marks a paradigm shift in healthcare *** potential impact of ACOs has been a topic of intense *** analytical approaches do not lend themselves to examining the complex phenomenon of the emergence and growth of ACOs in the healthcare *** adopt a complex adaptive system lens to examine the growth of ACOs among physician groups and explore factors that influence this *** also discuss the impact of ACOs on the profit of physician *** agent-based model was built to simulate physician groups'ACO entrance and exit based on a set of simple rules and their complex interactions with other *** on the simulation results,we derive patterns of ACO expansion and contraction,following four stages of wait-and-see,rollercoaster,fast growth,and *** suggest that the growth of ACOs is sensitive to the initial state of ACO *** the initial size of ACO membership increases,it helps to eliminate the rollercoaster *** addition,the growth of the ACO varies depending on the cost–quality *** both cost and quality objectives can be met simultaneously,the growth of ACO membership follows wait-and-see and fast growth stages followed by a different stage that we term sticky *** impact of ACOs on physician groups’cumulative profit varies by the service quality level of the physician *** groups affiliated with insurance companies charging the lowest or the highest level of health insurance premiums are worse off with the ACO ***,the ACO benefits physician groups affiliated with an insurance company charging a moderate level of premiums.

目前应用广泛的植被指数 AVHRR- NDVI仍有一些缺陷 ,主要表现在 :(1 )在植被高覆盖区容易饱和 ,这除了红光通道就容易饱和外 ,主要是基于 NIR/Red比值的 NDVI算式本身存在容易饱和的缺陷 ;(2 )没有考虑树冠背景对植被指数的影响 ;(3 ) NDVI的比值算式和最大值合成算法 (MVC)确实消除了某些内部和外部噪音 ,但最终的合成产品仍然有较多噪音 ;(4) MVC不能确保选择最小视角内的最佳像元。所有这些 AVHRR- NDVI的局限性 ,在基于“中分辨率成像光谱仪 (MODIS)”的“增强型植被指数 (EVI)”产品中 ,都有不同程度改善。MODIS- EVI改善表现在 :(1 )大气校正包括大气分子、气溶胶、薄云、水汽和臭氧 ,而 AVHRR- NDVI仅对瑞利散射和臭氧吸收做了校正 ;这样 MODIS- EVI可以不采用基于比值的方法 ,因为比值算式是以植被指数饱和为代价来减少大气影响 ;(2 )根据蓝光和红光对气溶胶散射存在差异的原理 ,采用“抗大气植被指数 (ARVI)对残留气溶胶做进一步的处理 ;(3 )采用“土壤调节植被指数(SAVI)”减弱了树冠背景土壤变化对植被指数的影响 ;(4)综合 ARVI和 SAVI的理论基础 ,形成“增强型植被指数 (EVI)”,它可以同时减少来自大气和土壤噪音的影响 ;(5 )采用“限定视角内最大值合成法 (CV-MVC)”。

The action of micromolar concentrations of Deltamethrin on sodium net transport through the in vivo skin of the South American toad Bufo arenarum was studied. Background:We sought to assess the overall benefit of laparoscopic versus open hepatectomy for treatment of colorectal liver metastases(CRLMs)using the win ratio,a novel methodological ***:CRLM patients undergoing curative-intent resection in 2001-2018 were identified from an international multi-institutional *** were paired and matched based on age,number and size of lesions,lymph node status and receipt of preoperative *** win ratio was calculated based on margin status,severity of postoperative complications,90-day mortality,time to recurrence,and time to ***:Among 962 patients,the majority underwent open hepatectomy(n=832,86.5%),while a minority underwent laparoscopic hepatectomy(n=130,13.5%).Among matched patient-to-patient pairs,the odds of the patient undergoing laparoscopic resection“winning”were 1.77[WR:1.77,95%confidence interval(CI):1.42-2.34].The win ratio favored laparoscopic hepatectomy independent of low(WR:2.94,95%CI:1.20-6.39),medium(WR:1.56,95%CI:1.16-2.10)or high(WR:7.25,95%CI:1.13-32.0)tumor burden,as well as unilobar(WR:1.71,95%CI:1.25-2.31)or bilobar(WR:4.57,95%CI:2.36-8.64)*** odds of“winning”were particularly pronounced relative to short-term outcomes(i.e.,90-day mortality and severity of postoperative complications)(WR:4.06,95%CI:2.33-7.78).Conclusions:Patients undergoing laparoscopic hepatectomy had 77%increased odds of“winning”.Laparoscopic liver resection should be strongly considered as a preferred approach to resection in CRLM patients.

Biofilm-related biomaterial infections are notoriously challenging to treat and can lead to chronic infection and persisting *** date,a large body of research can be reviewed for coatings which potentially prevent bacterial infection while promoting implant *** only a very small number has been translated from bench to *** study provides an in-depth analysis of the stability,antibacterial mechanism,and biocompatibility of medical grade polycaprolactone(mPCL),coated with human serum albumin(HSA),the most abundant protein in blood plasma,and tannic acid(TA),a natural polyphenol with antibacterial *** docking studies demonstrated that HSA and TA interact mainly through hydrogen-bonding,ionic and hydrophobic interactions,leading to smooth and regular *** vitro bacteria adhesion testing showed that coated scaffolds maintained their antimicrobial properties over 3 days by significantly reducing *** colonization and biofilm ***,amplitude modulation-frequency modulation(AMFM)based viscoelasticity mapping and transmission electron microscopy(TEM)data suggested that HSA/TA-coatings cause morphological and mechanical changes on the outer cell membrane of *** leading to membrane disruption and cell death while proving non-toxic to human primary *** results support this antibiotic-free approach as an effective and biocompatible strategy to prevent biofilm-related biomaterial infections.
