This article examined in detail microwav. radiometer functioning algorithm with synchronously using of the two types of pulse modulation: amplitude pulse modulation and pulse-width modulation. This allows a zero-radiometer measurement method to realize when the fluctuation effect of the receiv.r gain and the influence of its own noise changes are minimized. A zero balance automatically maintains in radiometer. The antenna signal is indirectly determined through the signal duration that controls the pulse-width modulation. An analytical expression of the fluctuation sensitiv.ty was obtained in a general form. From its analysis gain in sensitiv.ty, conditions were defined by the optimizing of the radiometer input knot’s construction. Three modifications of the radiometer input knot were researched. Fluctuation sensitiv.ty at different measurement range was determined for modification of the radiometer input knot.

Paleocene–early Eocene post-subduction magmatism in Sikhote-Alin (Far East Russia): New constraints for the tectonic history of the Izanagi-Pacific ridge and the East Asian continental margin

New isotopic,geochemical and geochronological data justify the widespread occurrence of middle Paleocene to early Eocene(60–53 Ma)post-subduction felsic magmatism across the entire Sikhote-Alin territory(southeastern Russia),conform with prev.ous observ.tions in Northeast China,the southern Korean Peninsula,and the Inner Zone of *** igneous activ.ty in East Asia coincided with the reactiv.tion(after tectonic quiescence between~93–60Ma)of left-lateral strike-slip displacements along the Tan-Lu and Central Sikhote-Alin faults and with the post-60 Ma cessation of subduction/accretion recorded in the Shimanto belt of SW *** Sikhote-Alin post-subduction igneous A-type rocks present div.rse mineralogical and geochemical features that suggest interactions of the subducting plate with anhydrous mantle upwelling through slab tears in the continental *** middle Paleocene–early Eocene magmatismis not related to subduction but is synchronous with strikeslip tectonics and the termination of accretionary prism dev.lopment,suggesting a shift in tectonic regime from oceanic plate subduction at a conv.rgent margin to parallel sliding and initiation of a transformcontinental *** new observ.tions are inconsistent with the current tectonic model of 60–50 Ma Izanagi-Pacific ridge subduction beneath East Asian continental margin.

The rapid growth of the global population has resulted in a continuous increase in cropland intensity and a shortening of the fallow period as part of the cropland rotation ***,there is a lack of systematic knowledge on the extent of fallow lands,particularly in complex landscapes,such as the mountainous regions of *** fill this knowledge gap,taking Yuanyang County(YYC),Yunnan Prov.nce,China,as a case study,we tested a method to identify the spatial-temporal distribution of fallow land by mapping cropland with Landsat *** ov.rall accuracy of land cov.r classification,including cropland,ranged between 90.1%and 95.8%from 1998 to *** av.rage accuracy of fallow plots was 75.7%from 2001 to *** annual fallow rate v.ried between 8.3%and 54.3%,with an av.rage of 20.7%.Kernel density estimated with the probability density function showed that fallow v.ried between 5 and 13 blocks per km2,gradually decreasing from the central area to the *** elev.tion,the low v.lue of regional domestic products,and the increased distance to rural settlements were closely related to the higher proportions of fallow *** approach presented here can be applied to map fallow land in other regions.

In contrast to so-called Auger process resulting in electron ejection from oxygen atom of water molecule under X-ray absorption, the coupling of the opposite charges in liquid water leads to polaronic exciton formation. As a result, polaronic exciton stabilized by the structure of water tetrahedron can serv. as the reaction center for deuterium creation under X-ray absorption. In this case, X-ray emission spectra of H：O and D20 giv. a clue for the deciphering of the ev.nts followed by X-ray photon absorption. It appears to be that spin-orbit interaction under proton sharing and the interaction between LO （longitudinal optical） phonon and bipolaron in the excited state are responsible for the energy lev.ls determining neutrino energy. The energy gap between the lev.ls with pATe andplle spin configurations of proton and electron is found to be 325.51 cm^-1 in the case of the spin-orbit interaction in polaronic exciton, while 1,556.054 cm^-1 under LO phonon interaction with the proton of the bipolaron producing the change of the nucleus spin direction to the opposite.

We report a comparativ. experimental study of the attenuation spectra transformations for a series of Yb doped alumino-germano silicate fibers with different contents of Yb3+ dopants, which arise as the result of irradiation either by a beam of high-energy electrons or by resonant (into the 977-nm absorption peak of YbYb3+ ions) optical pumping. The experimental data obtained rev.al that in the two circumstances, substantial and complex but different in appearance changes occur within the resonant absorption band of YbYb3+ ions and in the off-resonance background loss of the fibers. Possible mechanisms responsible for these spectral changes are discussed.
